On top! Litter, staff, location. Unfortunately we didn't have time to have breakfast but we imagine it must be like the rest: delicious.

A perfect hotel. The staff is friendly and attentive, they speak a little Spanish. The rooms are perfect, spacious, clean and with a very nice décor. The bed was very comfortable; just like the bathroom.

Very well located. Pleasant staff. Nice room. Very good breakfast. Public parking fee — 100m.

While the hotel was ok overall, it was marred by extremely dirty carpet in the rooms (visible stains / dirt), hallways and the stairs (turned black from whatever its original colour was). New carpet would bring the place up to at least a 3 for me. Location is convenient, being a 5-minute walk from the train station, very close to Place de la Comedie and also the historical area. Strong air conditioning (was a must while I was there, as there was a heatwave).

Pleasant welcome day and night. Room very well soundproofed and nice. Full breakfast. Excellent location in the city centre.

It a nice hotel. Decent breakfast. It's a little weird that they want you to turn in your key when you go out for the day! As it was explained… "the boss likes to know who's in and who's out"…!?!?

Warm and professional reception despite a late arrival. Clean room, renovated intelligently and tastefully. More than complete equipment. Very comfortable bed. Excellent location just a few steps from the train station and right in the city center. Everything can be done on foot and at the worst, there is the tram where the taxis very nice. There is no shortage of breakfast. It is rare to see that, so it has to be clarified. Team that makes sure your stay is going well.
Only downside, my departure which was done in a very impersonal way and that shocked me compared to the rest of my stay at this hotel.

Very good location nice breakfast really very good for €12 only flat C is the decoration of the reception and the carpet of the hallways that are really antiquated.

The staff were very welcoming, and the hotel is ideally located, really two steps away from comedy. If you need to park, you have with your room a discount to the nearby parking. The room was Nikel.

Excellent location although it lacks parking or a stopping area at the door. Big enough rooms, newish, good breakfast. Worth it!

Stay at the Royal Hotel exceptional… perfect room… staff more than pleasant has two steps from the place of comedy I will drown 4, 8 out of 5. Very good value for money. There are still real professionals.!

Excellent breakfast
We were 3 in a room with 3 separate beds and it was just great.
The room Nikel and then this smell of flower when we come home, perfect.
Only downside the bathroom clean but old-fashioned. The coating of the bathtub was taken off as well as the wallpaper at certain place.
I recommend very strongly.

Pros: Very good location, just a 2 minutes walk away from the place de la comédie and the old centre and a 5 minutes walk from the train station. The staff are very friendly, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is good! Cons: our room was a bit too warm.

Bel hôtel bien situer à proximité de la gare et place de la comedie juste en face. Propre et propose des bouteilles d'eau gratuite pour ses clients geste très apprécier. I really liked the royal hotel close to the train station and in the middle of thz city center. I also appreciated the fact that the bottle water is free and you have coffee or tea in the room included ib the price. And also the rooms are clean im really satisfied of my stay.

I had an unexpected night in Montpellier, and stayed at the Royal. It was a wonderful stay and the amenities we're great. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel has a lot of potential especially with their location, but it falls short. Between the carpet that doesn't look like it has been replaced since the 60's and the bed that felt like rocks, it was a miserable stay. I would highly recommend that they invest in a renovation.

Front desk directed me to the worst restaurant of this month's trip. Not his fault. The restaurant failed his kind referral! Pretty memorable.

Hotel became inciontournable for me when I come to Montpellier in family or for business: nice room, very comfortable, conveniently located near the train station and the place de la Comédie, excellent breakfast and staff always friendly.

This Hotel gave me very good sensations, the decoration of the Hotel was excellent and has a romantic touch. The location is unbeatable, touching the place de la Comédie, with many bars, restaurants and fast food, and a 2-minute walk from the train station. Park the car in a nearby Street, and not the more coji. To visit the Centre of Montpellier, and the Antigone is really perfect. The rooms are nice, air-conditioned, and overlooking the square and the street Rue Maguelone. They offer discounts if you park in the parking lot of la Comédie. The treatment was good, except they had a little difficulty with the languages (Spanish nowhere, and some English). The price slightly higher than the average of the hotels *, otherwise an excellent stay and Hotel that enchanted location.
