Beautiful hotel close to everything with courteous staff and our room was large.

We spent 6 nights. The room was always clean and perfect. They have kettle service with free tea and soluble coffee, a great detail. The staff is very friendly, and the room service food is not expensive (9o). As for rest, the mattresses and pillows are quality, so very good. There's a mini fridge and you can have your own drinks there. Overall, we were very pleased.

There are a few things to keep in mind: noise, for example. We were on the ground floor, and we heard people go up and down. Also the morning beats. Also, from the moment we arrived until we left the door of the room did not close. We commented on it at the front desk and they didn't fix it (this I think is really the only and most serious). So we blindly trust them on a daily basis to leave all our belongings exposed to all tenants. We haven't missed anything, luckily for everyone. They have security cameras in the hallways, so we trust each other. But, for your part, this should not be allowed, in my opinion.

The hotel is in a great place, in the heart of the city, it is nice, clean and worth it. There is always room to park on the street, and the OTA is worth 8o all day. If it wasn't for the broken door of the room (which I find very poorly managed by the hotel) I would recommend it to suit.

A very old place for the decoration. Also the breakfast is very French. It is in the center of Narbonne and is very cozy.

There's no one wrong. 2 nights on July 16 and 17. Upon my departure from the hotel to the front desk, I expressed my satisfaction. So act.

We were driving from Madrid to Frankfurt last July and we stopped in Narbonne and found this beautiful place. We loved our beautiful room, the furnishings, the breakfast. Beautiful town to walk around and take in the history.

Breakfast à la carte €12 buffet or €6 coffee break: orange juice, coffee, croissant, butter, bread.
Small downside: The coffee break formula is not served in the room despite our request following the pub made on booking.

Very friendly welcome during the day and also in the evening or early morning by the hotel keeper very quiet hearty breakfast with very good products.

A place that combines elegance and comfort in the heart of Narbonne, the staff are available and attentive to the guest, the rooms are bright modern and decorated to the taste of the day. The breakfast buffet is rich in good local produce both sweet and savoury. A small downside on the soundproofing of the rooms which does not prevent to spend a great stay.

A unique location in the heart of Narbonne. Very convenient 10 minutes from the train station.
If you come by car, park in the parking lot of La Médiathéque, less than 100 m!

Located in the heart of the city centre between the cathedral and the canal, this hotel is only a few steps from the historic monuments of Narbonne. The hotel offers charming and elegant accommodation in an authentic setting. Built in the nineteenth century. The Hotel La Résidence offers a personalized and warm welcome and quality services. It also has a wine bar where you can enjoy the best wines from the Corbières and Minervois.
I recommend this property for its location, the quality of its services and of course and especially for its welcome. Bravo!

Hotel in the centre of Narbonne. It is an old building but very well kept and cozy. On arrival we were greeted by a lady in a very friendly way, giving us information about the city and the parking. I don't give him five stars because we haven't had breakfast yet. There are two types of breakfast; One for €6 consisting of juice, coffee and croassant, and one for €12, which is free buffet. A fully recommended hotel.

Nice place, comfortable, good prices.

The rooms are really tiny, it's kind of hard to close the doors and it smelt like pee in the toilet of our room. The bed are comfortable, the AC and the TV worked perfectly. The breakfast isn't that big but their cute little chocolate muffins are delicious.

Located within a few minutes walk of the city centre. Room was comfortable for the three of us, and reception were happy to provide extra pillows and towels for my son. Secure parking for bicycles is available, but car parking on the street looked restricted.

A great hotel close to the channel and the Cathedral. We took a room above the 2 nd floor, very large and nicely decorated. The bathroom is new, beautiful walk-in shower. The bed is very comfortable and large TV. I always appreciate the hotel with a mini bar and a kettle tea coffee courtesy tray as they are routinely found in Asia. To top it off the all a very warm welcome and competent.

La Residence has been handsomely remodeled to contain all of the creature comforts you'd expect from a modern hotel, but without sacrificing its baroque charm. The floors are all laminated wood; rooms are well soundproofed and all feature air conditioning. The bathrooms are immaculate, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Room size is standard for a European hotel: a bit small for my American tastes, but nothing out of the ordinary. The free Wi-Fi has a strong signal but is bandwidth-capped unless you pay a supplement. The buffet breakfast for 6 euros is a good deal: strong brewed coffee, an assortment of breads, croissants, crepes, yogurt, boiled eggs, cheeses and meats, and a selection of locally-made jams. Probably the most expansive breakfast I've seen while traveling in France; definitely not on par with the local custom, but great for the tourist who needs to fortify himself before a day of exploring the countryside.

Wonderful small boutique hotel.

Small garage and troublesome to exit as other cars needed to be removed first. Female staff was not so friendly. Good location though. Much confusion when we cut our stay from 5 days to 3 days.

I do not recommend, room bit clean and dusty, bathroom rustic shower curtain, household unsatisfactory, meal better than average. Fortunately the young staff is quite friendly. Certainly other hotels * more enjoyable in the region.

While the hotel itself is quite nice and well-maintained and most of the staff are helpful and friendly, I was shocked by the rudeness of the female manager. One member of our party fell ill and we politely asked for some help in finding a local doctor who could see her — she didn't even try to help us, telling us that we would not get an appointment anyway (which we did without problems when we dropped into a surgery later). When we dared to ask for some more coffee over breakfast, she looked almost appalled. Again, I wouldn't have any major complaints about the place otherwise but unfortunately the rudeness displayed by this woman has left a nasty aftertaste.

Positive: The hotel has parking, the rooms are proper, the man of the hotel is very pleasant… the woman a little less.
Negative: The noise in the rooms, the echo in the hotel. Not to be with a baby.

A very good address in Narbonne. The hotel has most stunning lobby with very tastful interior decoration. The breakfast is served by the hoteliers, a very efficient couple from the North of France, in a pristine breakfast room on pristine tablecloth layed with the best coffee, croissants and juice. My room was small but the bed was comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was small but very practical and clean. The noise level was mangable with ear plugs, but I am very sensitive to noise. The mistress of the house can be intimidating by her very put together efficiency. But remember she is from the North where people are of few words. Madame is also what you would expect every French woman to be: slim and chic. Look at the big picture! The hotel sits in a quiet street off the main street and is a block away from the weekday market, the canal and its locks, the Monoprix (the local Target, but so much better). You can take long walks along the canal with plain tree lined gardens and all this while you are in town! If you like old stones there are many to admire in the narrow passageways off the main street. A lovely provincial town with many surprises around the corner, many lovely patisseries and restaurants with delicious food and amazing wines. I loved Languedoc and Narbonne in particular.
