The rooftop is just beautiful to take in glass, or for an aperitif dinner. The staff is friendly and caring. With my friend, we had a great time and frankly, for the same price, we could have had dinner together in a gourmet restaurant, but this view is priceless I can't wait to go back…

This hotel is exquisite with hand painted tiles & decor! The duplex suite I stayed in was spacious & had INCREDIBLE views of both the Eiffel Tower & the Arc (& both are within walking distance) The airlines
lost my bag & shopping was close & easy. A king bed & single pullout leaves plenty of room to share this hotel experience with friends or family! I’ll be back!

This hotel is exquisite. Every room is beautifully decorated and appointed. The old world luxury is glorious to behold in every room. Comfort and service are priorities of the staff. We are enjoying the rooftop bar where you have a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower and its light show at night. We recommend you reserve one of the suites. This hotel offers the best of everything!

Tre bien! Truly magnificent views of a beautiful city!

The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in we were on the fifth floor with the view of the Arc of Triumph and the Eiffel Tower The inside it was living room bead room and a bathroom that was stunning. It has a beautiful circular stair way to a reading room al in the Louie fifth motive Service outstanding food excellent Will be back.

A truly extraordinary experience, just for the view. Beautiful, I have no other word! A quiet, very select place (16 euros a coca, 29 euros a cocktail) but frankly the price is forgotten pretty quickly and you remember only the positive. To the left the triumphal arch, to the right the Eiffel Tower, and everywhere around you have the aerial vision of Paris, right at the right height. Only downside: Lots of greenery on this roof top and therefore very few locations on this terrace allow you to enjoy the view in all its aspects!
But I can only put 5 stars for this roof top exceptional.

Great hotel, location too!

The hotel is beautiful. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It's quite pricey, but if you are aware of that going in, no big deal. Very clean, but very old. To the point where some doors to closets don't close because they don't line up with the frames. That doesn't break my experience though. Wonderful stay.

It's a great hotel! It's just a fairy tale in Paris!

First the good points, then I will get to the reasoning behind the low rating. The location is good and the rooms are pretty close to what you see online. An older hotel with some good character. It's too bad the good character doesn't wear off on the employees and management. We stayed in a Junior Suite. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The bathroom was in need of some repairs. The breakfast was good but nothing outstanding. Great bar area and the Terrace restaurant was excellent. My primary complaint involves the theft of items out of the room by the maids. After our 3rd day (we stayed 5 nights), my wife noticed something missing from our luggage and also that a piece of the hotel furniture was also missing. We asked management about both and were told they would look into it. Another day passed and nothing. I again asked and they said they would look into it. More silence. I finally demanded they give me some answers while I waited. They had no idea what happened to our missing/stolen item and said the missing furniture was broken and needed repair. Neither of us noticed anything that was broken. Another odd thing about the maids is each day they take all your things and rearrange them on the counters and throughout the room. A bit like they are looking through each item whether it be medication, vitamins, etc. Anyway we never got our stolen item back or even an apology. We've stayed at many 5-Star hotels but this was a new experience for us.

A time travel through PARIS LUXURY HISTORY best location in paris the room are very Paris styles decorated as it was a 100 year's ago in the luxury of Paris. 5 minutes walk to the champ. expensive yes but worth every penny. breakfast in room was just ***** the staff is at the grandeur and history … sensational perfect …

The discreet charm, an institution is timeless, the time has only a single footprint : the chic. Come to taste one of the cocktails is certainly a moment of relaxation. And if the terrace is open, take the old elevator and enjoy the view.

We went to the lovely Hotel Rafael our last night in Paris (5 girlfriends) … just for a glass of champagne and a memorable view of Paris. Our delightful server, Aymeric, made the evening just perfect for us. His welcoming hospitality has not been matched in our travels. Thank you, Aymeric.

A real hotel bar, in its juice. As cosy as it must be for lovers of cocktails and intimate places. The favorite place of many people of show business, both discretion is to put. Alone, at the bar, or in the hall, in good company, Raphael's Bar will soon become your favourite.

Old Venerable very nice hotel near the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. Very nice and attentive staff. Unfortunately not quite favorable.

Time flies, but this refined boutique palace hotel still displays the same soothing, distinguished atmosphere in its intemporal design. A business hotel, with a British bar haunted by the culture and fashion elite, it has unique turn-of-the-century rooms fitted for romance. The rooftop restaurant is more appealing than the dated ground floor dining room. The location is unbeatable: a stone's throw from the Arch of Triumph and Champs Elysées.

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with a group of colleagues for a congress. This is an old majestic hotel with beautifully appointed large rooms. Excellent location Situated just at the Arc d Triumph. Although the hotel was undergoing some renovations and the noise was a bother at times, overall the stay was wonderful. This was also because of a very responsive, professional and friendly staff. Of special mention is Rephael, who attended the breakfast Dinning room. He just went out of the way to make our mornings very special. He remembered our likes and made us feel special. He is very friendly and professional.

The location is excellent, the rooms are beautiful and very large, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the service is 5 star. All of the front desk staff could not have been more helpful. I was celebrating my birthday and came back to my room to find a bottle of champagne and a chocolate birthday cake. I have stayed at the George V and feel the Raphael is comparable at half the price. I will definitely stay here on my next trip.

I like the old-fashioned style, especially for the bar. Please do not refurbish, it will save your money and my pleasure.

Amazing place! Book a table at the terrace. Expensive but worth it. We went to pret before for dinner and then had a drink there.

The rooftop bar has a spectacular view of Paris and Eiffel Tower. The atmosphere is quite formal and the drinks are overpriced (15e for a bottle of juice). They do not serve hot drinks.

Dress nicely for rooftop drinks at this super luxe hotel. Skip the tour of tower Eiffel and camp out here instead. High prices but the view and ambiance makes up for it.

Hallucinating … 2 h 30 waiting for a steep wave of lukewarm chicken at €50! To avoid except brunch on the terrace but bcp too expensive. There's so much on Paris for 10 times cheaper.

Great views of Eiffel Tower from the bar of rooftop terrace, yet you got to work your way through snooty host to get a table even if you staying in the hotel. Small selection of drinks, slow service. Restaurant failed to impress: has no music, tables scattered in the bushes that abstract views: ambience 0. Hotel itself is a great landmark to shoot last century movies or period time photoshoots. Otherwise go to Peninsula Hotel across the street for real luxury. Rooms and hallways are begging for renovation. Walls seem to be so thin that you hear every squeak of floors, conversations and guests roaming the hallways. A bit of a leery feel of a beautiful yet hunted house… Again, this place is great for a movie set or photoshoots, hence that is why it looks great in photos. Reality is not as appealing.

Hotel Raphael is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at in any price range. The rooms are immaculately clean, and very well furnished, with comfortable beds, a fridge, safe, large bathtub, and other amenities. They even left a bowl of fruit and water bottles in my room with a note saying it was "compliments of Hot Hotel Raphael" when we were gone for the day, which was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris. I don't speak a word of French, but they speak great English too.
