Peace & Love Hostel Hostel

I live in Paris up to 50% of my Tim now traveling Europe. I escrow expensive hotels and big hostels have too many rules. This 18 room hostel sleeps only circadian 50 people and has a kitchen you can cook and keep food and a 24 hour pub entrance to all rooms. The staff I know by name and them me. What more can I ask for? I feel like family when there!

They're thieves. When I arrived, they charged me cash because "they can not charge me with a card" and that same day they charged me the same amount on my card. When I told them your answer was that they were not them if not HOSTELWORLD when talking with hostel world they told me it was the hostel because the application does not charge entire reserves. Nobody took charge and I ended up stealing 115 euros.
besides that the hostel was extremely dirty and is located in a very dangerous area of ​​paris.

I’m not sure what all the bad reviews are about but I had none. I came traveling alone and everyone there (guests and employees) were very sweet and helped with whatever questions I had. The room was clean and had lockers and a small place to shower. Clean sheets you could smell were fresh and ZERO bugs. Kitchen you can use and the people there pointed me in a direction of a market close by if I needed food. Free Wi-Fi in bar AND in my room. Thank you, Peace and Love! ✨

Nice hostel with a great location, near to metro station and two big train station. The place has a clean shared kitchen and a really cool bar ;)! The rooms is also good, they cleaned every day and with a nice shower! Good experience and good price!

Bed bugs. The worst of the worst.

As soon as we arrived, we found the room dirty, even shower and sink. After calling the staff to clean up, we found the room in the same condition. Dirty sheets and even with some bug. I recommend it because it is very cheap, it is in a good position and then because in the end it interests you to have a bed on which to sleep! (better if cleaned)

Bug-infested hostel which should absolutely be avoided. Difficult to imagine that this hostel would pass an official sanitary test by Paris officials. Do not even think of booking.

One of the worst hostels upto date… Cut 42€ deceptively and now not answering back. Plus the rooms were very small with transparent bathroom door.

I wish I read the reviews before going. I will never go to a hostel because of my experience with this hostel. The negative list is endless. I had to leave early and paid over 100 euros at a wonderful hotel to forget my experience at this place. The only good thing of this hostel is that the owner is nice.

Lovely atmosphere, nice staff, super helpful and sweet when I cancelled future reservations with them… However the reason I cancelled the reservation was due to bed bugs. It’s very unfortunate, and very uncomfortable. I spent two nights here and after the first night I felt a little itchy, but after the second night I was covered head to toe in bed bug bites. Everything looked clean, but clearly it was not, and laundry plus itching cream adds up, so it wasn’t much of a money saver, sadly. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, unless you’re ok with the gamble of being bitten by bed bugs or not, you do you.

Noisey maybe because of location in same street, don't think we slept. Smaller rooms than most, Shower had no soap or towel, mattress was like sandstone, don't expect too much. Price says it all. Good for a pit stop and to preserve funds.

Warm place! Very nice welcome. Adam! Affordable. Nice bar with cheap drink. Clean place. Nothing to say except the shower in the room while you are there several it is the only negative.

Fatal. Small rooms, very hot. We arrived with a reservation of 2 people in a room of 3 (to share), and they told us there was only room for one. They made us pay double what we hired with Expedia to give us an alternative. The alternative? I on the second floor and my partner in the last (seventh or eighth).
Not recommended. Not at all.

The bar staff in the evenings are very cooperative, you must arrive on time for the checking or you cancel the reservation or try to say that I had another cost (other staff), the tourist sites are, on average, one hour to walk, although hau station transportation near.

It's beside an ambulance station. You will not sleep due to the sirens. They were very accommodating when I made a mistake in my reservation. Beautiful view.

The place is not too bad but bedrooms are mixed ladies be careful you might end up with an old man sleeping over your head … Safety first …

Very good welcome, must have the habit of hostels but if not nickel.

Welcoming staff, comfy beds and interesting guests. Located in a vibrant district with lots going on. From what I've seen I'd consider it quite a good budget hostel.

Stayed here 2 nights in the private twin room on the 6th floor. There is no elevator so you have to climb up a few stairs in a small staircase, so not recommended for people who would have trouble going up. The room was small, bed was cormfortable enough. It wasn't very clean: hair on the bed, hair in the shower. Shower is very small, if you're bigger than size L it will be very uncomfortable. Strange crowd of people is sitting in the hostel/pub: an all male crowd looking very intimidating. I can imagine younger people or solo travellers wouldn't feel safe. The price is fine for the quality of the stay.

I had booked a 3 bed dorm. It's a 3bed bunk bed. The room size is just the size of that bed plus a locker box. The roof hits head if a person sleeping on 3rd bed (on top) wants to sit on bed. It's equal to a storage room. Washroom pathetic… a fat person cannot use the shower (luckily I'm not) bcz he can't enter the shower room. U just stand below shower n bath. U can't bend to touch your feet also. The hotel is not maintained clean… no waiting longue before check-in… Oly good is it is near to metro station…

Clean and comfortable. There is a good equipped kitchen. Nice prices. Very old building, but I do not see the problem.

All well except that there's a can of noise because you hear people rating.

Dirty as hell. They cahnge bedsheets but they don't clean the rooms or the toilets. Shower is full of hair and the toilet as well. The location is good but there's like 6 floors and no elevator. We had our check in booked for 11am and we arrived at 12pm and they still didnt have our bedroom ready and told us to wait 2h for it to be done. When we arrived at the bedroom it was just so dirty. Full of hair, truly. Good luck, but no thanks.

Absolutely fantastic Customer Service, great facilities for a hostel, situated very well. The manager, Joseph helped make my stay comfortable, dealt with any and all issues and helped me navigate the city. All the staff went above and beyond. Thank you.

Noisy, very small dorms, shower ' not separated from the dormitory. Cleanliness for the least questionable.

Not recommended, directly below the hostel is a bar with loud music until late and the night and it all came down completely. The beds were filthy and I don't want to talk about the bathroom. Luckily we were only here one night.

The location is at the heart of Paris. The subway station is just next door and museums and Eifle tower are very close too. There are varities of food options and super shops in the neighborhood. Loved it. There is a kitchen you can utilize. Things are pretty clean I must say.

The only thing that was good was the price. The room was dirty, the beds partially broken and I have never seen such a cramped room. But for 51 euros for 3 people you can not expect much either.

Pathetic place. I would never go there. We took a private double room and at night you could hear even footsteps of people walking. If your neighbor would open the door you would hear it very loudly as if someone opened your door. There is no elevator, so best luck if you have your room on the 6th floor. The entrance is through a bar where there are people drinking and these people were mischievous. The staff is rude, we asked them for the lockers and they were like "why do you need lockers? Just leave your stuff in your room" Worst hostel I have been to in Paris.

I have never seen a hotel like that, yet I have made hotels. I make the reservation well, I pay part of the due sum, I arrive at the hotel the guy from the reception tells me that I cancelled my reservation and that I lost my money. View it is midnight I do not too much complication I ask him to make me a new reservation, he does it but only he tells me that he takes only the species, I try to explain to him that he nège outside and that the nearest bank is more than 5 minutes and I would like to pay by card, he tells me I site "fuck your mother, you pay me in cash or you get out anyway I didn't cancel your reservation". I'll spare you the rest, nor will I write you a novel on a comment.

€50 x night, it was not one of our best decision as far as Hostel, the room had a poor toilet including the bathroom expect the atmosphere to be nice the colors of the walls play an important role in terms of tranquility and this with its tone Burdolesco no t and allow it. The attention of the guys is good but the rest should improve.

It's not the cleanest place but it serves to spend a few days in Paris at low cost. It has shared and private rooms.

It has no ventilation so it smells like humanity the room, the neighborhood is not at all good. The service and the room are basic. I wouldn't want to stay there again.

The hostel is well located since it is hear to the train station but the service has to be improved because I had to go down stairs to get my own towels when I asked for them and the cleanliness as well. Am sure that it's men who are probably in charge of this place but still the rooms and bathrooms musst be kept clean mostly in rooms of many people. The is too small the bathrooms the stairs and in the rooms there isn't enough space since they are over crowded with many beds. It's just not worth a penny while enjoying Paris!

It is a place that is not so expensive to go to stay a few nights, it is a bit dirty but it fixes the kitchen which is always well arranged and is safe, also has a bar under the rooms that does not affect anything to the tranquility of the rooms.

Pesimo! The bathrooms in the rooms are dirty, the noise from the bar comes up to the rooms, and the attention is bad. The place is unsafe.

The two people at the reception, Josephus and Nassim were very helpful and very cool! Frankly I felt at home! Kitchen at the top! Only negative point to my eyes the closeness of stairs! I would recommend this hostel!

If you are more than size xl you wont probably fit to shower its rele small entry to shower. Also the stairs really small but so long way up. All night you hear ambulances and other viachles down from the street. Wi-Fi isnt free in your room but in bar it is. You can charge your Phone via adapter or usb cabel. You can see Eiffel tower from window. McDonald's is across the street. Also metrostation jaune. Only a Block away garde de nord main station.

Place to sleep. Narrow and incredibly numerous stairs to your room will discourage a quick run back. OK bar, no Wi-Fi in rooms. Good location though and generally affordable.

We got a top room and had to climb a lot of stairs for each trip to the room. Didn't get proper bed linen as well. Overall a not so nice stay at the hostel. Few good things about the room: clean room and bathroom.

Worst place ever I rather stay out as a homeless person then go here … homeless person probably had cleaner blankets then us ew. Went to charge our phones when the lights were on it was okay but once turned off it wouldn't charge at all! when asked the manager or whatever it was that why it didn't work they told us they don't know about anything and acted clueless and then next day we ask the other person and he tells us they have been contacting someone to fix it already. We have asked for a partial refund and the owner told us to talk to him in the morning and he will refund us some money bavk but next day we see someone else working there which was a weekend manager or so, so we asked them about the partial refund and he got so rude we couldn't get anywhere with him at all. We got out of there and I was full of bites. Worst place ever it's placed right in the ghetto side and the noise you hear constantly is emergency services and also people running up and down the stairs. Don't recommend it at all save up more money and go to something else rather then this! SHUT IT DOWN!

We got given dirty blankets then when I asked for clean ones we got given thin bed linen. On the website it says that theres free Wi-Fi throughout the whole hostel yet is only free in the bar then €3 if you want wiffi in your room. The guy who served me then insisted that its not a 5 star hotel but just a hostel. Could only charge our phones with the main light on in the room, so we had to decide whether it was sleep or charge our phones. They said they would fix the issues the next day yet when the nextbday came he conveniently wasnt on shift. He allowed a partial refund for the next day yet was also, again not here the next day to give me a refund. Rude staff, which lied out of their asses. My boyfriend got bites from staying here too.

One star because you get a bed, a place to shower (I didn't get a towel? But I actually needed to get one anyway so I'm not really complaining about that) and all that but the hostel really not a great place to be. It's entrance is in a low quality bar, the rooms are small with triple bunk beds (as applicable to you), bathrooms right off of each room — I want to shower tonight but don't want to be disrespectful to my other roommates, and the Wi-Fi is very bad. I've been hanging out in a McDonald's for the past hour or so just to have a place to sit down, charge my phone and use better Wi-Fi in a place that's not in a crappy bar. The hostel doesn't seem very social because the bar makes for the only common area and it's like a bar… on the street… with odd randos (i. E. Random people) Plus the location isn't bad but isn't great. Staff seemed distracted, unhelpful and uninterested. All in all if possible I'd recommend looking for a different hostel. I'm only passing through Paris this time and just needed a place to crash but I'd be really disappointed if it was my first time here and I wanted to meet people in a fun hostel, go out and do things all day. I'm fairly well traveled and all my hostels in the Balkans were much better places than here.

Sadly I had to cancel my reservation. I called the hostel and cancelled, they told me send an email. So I sent an email within the cancellation limit. I was surprised that they charged my card. They said that they never received my email, although I sent them multiple emails to the correct address, I even sent them a screen shot of the time and date I sent the cancellation email. But they refused to refund me, nor responded to my emails.

There's no negative stars option so I'm giving it one. It's really not even worth 1 star. Anyway last night I was told my credit card was rejected… and I had just gotten a confirmation email the day before! I arrived nearly at midnight so I had no other choice but to spend the night. Bad idea. The bedroom loo was filled with ants, mosquitoes and some kind of green flying bugs… It's a total shithole. On this trip alone I've stayed in 12 hostels. This is the only one that's been a mistake. The pub downstairs also sucks. Shit music and people barely speak English. Was so glad to leave early in the morn. I'm in a great hostel now & enjoying Paris.

Can only say was an okay stay. Some of the staff were quite rude — not all, we had things stolen from inside our rooms so more security was needed, didnt feel safe at times. Beds were creaky and rooms were abit grimy but not too much of an issue as we didnt pay too much. Bar was nice, cheap drinks and music, the kitchen was clean and hygenic. The area was dodgy, a few of us were shouted at, attempted pickpockets ect, but lots of nice local shops. Overall half and half, I would stay here again but wouldnt recommend it to others.

Know a few people who had problems here but personally I thought the place was 10/10, very cheap, good space. Had a brand new room done up for us. Staff were friendly and chatty and even provided free drinks. Only problem was security, so would recommend not leaving valuables and especially money as there is no CCTV other than in the bar. Shoutout to the legendary Anton, you made the place 10 times better.

Avoid this hostel at all costs** 1. The hostel has no reception, one employee works out of the bar area to process all checkins and checkouts. 2. No elevator in the building which has just 3 rooms per floor and they have 18 rooms in total. 3. Circular stairs run till the 7th floor which is wide enough for just 1 person passing through 4. No lockers in the room, all lockers are in the basement 5. Kitchen and the fridge are also located in the basement 6. Shower & Toilets are so small that you literally need to squeeze yourself into it. 7. The rooms are so small that bunk beds are less than 1 arm distance away. 8. Very uncomfortable beds 9. Only 1 single power socket in the entire room which the heater plugs into. So in winters you need to decide if you want to stay warm or charge your phone, you can't do both. 10. Entire room stinks of chlorine. Initially I had booked the hostel for 3 nights. After seeing the state of affairs of the hostel I immediately checked out and went to St Christopher's which is less than a mile away.

I spent three night in this hostel and I think is quite nice, also the price is good.

I dont know why this hostel is rated so low! My partner and I have been here 2 nights now and 1 to go. We have had no problems here. We have private room own bathroom couldnt really complain! Looked up hostels this was cheapest by far. Staff here also are lovely, friendly and are at hand if need. They are also really helpful with information on directions. Lovation brilliant literally 1 minute walk from metro. If your looking for cheap hostel, good location and friendly staff, peace and love hostel is the place for you! ☺☺

"Wi-Fi included" here means "free in lobby, 3E/2hours" in your room. "Double room" actually means "room with a double bed. " They don't accept credit card. They are in a shady part of town. The rooms are tiny. The people on staff I spoke with were rude. Bathrooms are too tiny for some larger people. They don't replace your sheets ever.

The worst experience I have ever had. A small room for 14 persons. Only 1 bathroom for all. In summer you better sleep outside instead of the room. No fan. Window is there but it is closed. And guess what for 14 persons they have given only one multi plug, so you need to be lucky enough to get a chance for charging your device.

A friendly welcome, a good atmosphere, good place not above of the East and North train stations and a metro station right side, short for the price do not deprive yourself a very good value for money, and the service bar and not too expensive, and l ' team is nice, very good clean condition.

It's claustrophobic and not in the best location. (It's best to stay in a single digit arrondissement. ) But it's not too expensive given you are in Paris. I recommend looking for somewhere else.

This was a pretty good hostel. It was really conveniently located, as it was right next to a metro stop. The room was small but clean and I had some awesome roommates. The bartender was also the receptionist, but he was really helpful and friendly.

Im surprised this place is still in business. What a dump. I wouldnt even use this place to store my luggage. Theyre in the ghetto.

The peace and love that is obviously not the top class hotel. But for foreign tourists, and even for the French who just visited the capital without breaking it's nice. Friends of mine have stayed there and it's in a fairly young and relaxed atmosphere.

Served its purpose, to wildly-varying degrees of customer service. Naima was great, one guy was very helpful to multiple boarders (the one who let that American guy use the laptop to delete stupid bullcrap from his cameraphone and talked that Korean girl out of injuring her brother), et un autre mec etait un trouduc completement — c'etait fantastique seulement. But hey.
