Good hotel. Comfortable room, nice staff. Close to the North Station. Very good value for money.

Very friendly staffs. Good location. Very clean room with good sound proofing.

The rooms are small for people who like me and my family stay in 5 in one and the services are scarce and the bathroom is antique.

Really nice! Hotel very functional and that's all we need:) breakfast buffet from 5 to 11am very convenient! I recommend nice staff:)

Perfect for one night. Located near the two major train stations. Equipment OK. Service very friendly. Good noise protection. We slept well in spite of the central location.

We stayed at New Hotel Gare Du Nord for a few nights. It is located within throwing distance of Gare Du Nord, one of the main train stations in Paris. To cut straight to the chase, it is an ok hotel. It might be a little out dated with an old key card system and rooms might be a little small even for two people, but it is very convenient to travel to and from anywhere in Paris. They have an unsual rule of leaving the key card with the front desk before leaving the hotel. Price to rent a tea kettle or microwave is a €20 security deposit that you should get back after checking out. During our stay over a couple days the front desk has been very friendly and helpful. Rooms are regularly cleaned and refreshed with new towels everyday. One big complaint is regarding the small and unusual elevator that stops halfway to the next floor that requires using the stairs anyway. The stairs themselves seem sketchy as well. Needless to say this hotel is not very handicap accessible. We also requested for a baby crib but apparently they do not have one. Overall I would have to say that this hotel was just fine, there is a lot of room for improvement but for the price and location it is hard to beat. PROTIP: there is a little shop inside the station within a short 5 minute walk that has bottled water, snacks, and souvenirs. When facing the front of the station it is all the way to the left side of the tracks.

Room was small and smelled of cigarttes. That being said it was comfortable and well stocked, we had a very good and restfull nights sleep. Given its central location it was very worth the price.

Decent value and close to the train station. Someone entered our room while we were out, however, and opened our luggage and messed with the safe. Nothing was missing but still weird to have our stuff rifled through.

Despite the slightly rustic airs of this hotel you will be pleasantly surprised by the bedding which is of great quality and the attentions that you are wearing.
In addition it is located a few seconds from the subway stop and the train station.

Avoid this hotel at all cost. It is not safe there. When you leave your room you must leave the key at the reception. While my wife was out eating someone broke into her suitcase in her room. Stay away from this hotel. They are crooks!

Really long floors, nice garden. Room was really big, also the pool in the hotel. The Service was okay, no english-speaker. & they need a long time, to check in. But the restaurant was terrible — really, really small portions (like "I'm still hungry"-portions) & expensive. Hotel yes — 5 Stars — Restaurant — no way!

Rather tired decor and somewhat cramped facilities. Best attribute is the location. The staff I encountered were friendly.

Small hotel right in front of the station where trains and shuttles stop for airports. The price was cheap. Everything else old and to improve.

I stayed for one night as I wanted to be near the train station for an early trip. When I arrived the elevator wasn't working so I had to walk up three winding flights of stairs. As I am in my 60s, it was a bit difficult but I managed. Other people would not be able to do it. A staff member carried my luggage which was extremely helpful. My room had a comfortable double bed with a modern bathroom. It faced an inner court but since it was only one night, that was not an issue. The breakfast room was in a charming cellar. My only complaint was that the coffee was not hot enough for my taste. The staff were very accommodating and cheerful.

Very Comfortable and air conditioned. Bathrooms were sufficient and staff was very kind. Adding the breakfast was the best value. The Gare Du Nord train station across the street can be accessed by an entrance just 35ft from the front door. If you're in Paris for touristy things with a need for a clean room you rest your head, shower, eat and go. This is a very good choice.

Came with 6 people and book one quadra room and one twin room. Ended up got 2 quadra room which is a good thing but the room allocated to the four people was smaller than for the two people. This could be done better. The receptionist was friendly and approachable throughout the entire stay and didn't hesitate whenever we needed for help.

Affordable hotel with a great access of public transportations. Staff was very honest, friendly and helpful.

Ugly should not be used for normal tourists only for couples that is used for one hour.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is located just bang opposite Gare du Nord and a stone throw away from Gare du Nord Metro station. I would recommend taking the metro to all the various sites. The lines 1, RER B and D cover almost all the sites and buildings. The hotel has air conditioning, which was a blessing in disguise. The toilets are clean, hot water all the time and at a great price. This hotel is not for those who like to stay in a 3 or 5 star hotel property. This hotel is more those kind of tourists who prefer to spend time seeing the city and do not want to spend a lot of money on hotel but would prefer a decent and safe hotel. There are numerous cafes around the corner of the hotel with great terraces, so we did not have breakfast at the hotel Room Tip: Go for rooms above 4th floor.

Great location in front of the train station. Clean rooms. No slippers provided though, take a pair with you. Overall, good hotel for its price.

Rooms were small but comfortable. Breakfast with eggs, yogurt, breads, juice and coffee are included. Very convenient to Gard du Nord with many restaurants nearby.

This hotel is terrible and should be avoided: the shower does not work, it's very old and it's not maintained well. The worst of all: we were truly intimidated by a staff member in the reception when we checked out (we had no conflicts, we just wanted to see the bill before we paid). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

DEC 2010 The hotel is REAL CLOSE to the gare du Nord station but AVOID it at all costs!. Bed and pillows rock hard. Room was DIRTY! Long hairs on carpet. 1 towel in pre-fab shower room. No soap. Wallpaper hanging in room and outside room on each floor. Hotel needs MAJOR re-vamp! Rooms noisy and cold. I had to wear ear plugs (and clothes in bed as it was cold) as I could hear someone walking in their room on top of ours.
