Nice location, nice rooms, Wi-Fi, elevator. Helpful staff who speak English.

Nothing specific. Room with TV on the side so what could be in front.
No air conditioning on the way.
The coffee maker did not work. So that day hard hard.

To flee! We're having lunch with radiators! We have to pay all his stay in advance and the staff threatens you if necessary, no breakfast before 7am we wait for the bakery D next to be open to buy bread and pastries…

Hotel near Montparnasse, was in full renovation with dirt of the work, when it is refurbished, hotel centric with price/quality acceptable.

Designed to spend a comfortable night equal one will sleep only the rest of the time enjoy it on the street.

I stayed at the hotel Moulin Vert which is a few meters from the Montparnasse district, my stay was not planned at all but I enjoyed the warm welcome of the staff, the quality of the rooms and also the services offered by the example of the Restaurant next door, I would recommend this hotel.

Hello, disappointing hotel. Room room. Too narrow you can not even move, it is not closed during renovation, the workers cross you in the staircase or the elevator singing aloud. Noise all day because of the work. Staff not worried about what's going on. Horrible breakfast of very low range and ends at 9:15 in a basement with deu torn furniture. Dust everywhere. The room is very sound.

Its a fair place excellent for a quick set down. If you mostly interested for cheap accommodation this is yours. Don't expect any luxury, moderate room in a busy central parisian location.

The Moulin Vert is a budget hotel located in the residential district of Montparnasse. It is only near the catacombs of Paris but its situation is very good as it has close to many mouths of Metro, among which stands out, above all, the Alésia, which can connect with the rest of the city.
The area is very quiet and full of restaurants, cafes, boulangeries, pharmacies and supermarkets.
The staff of the hotel are very friendly and willing, they speak French, English and a little Spanish. The rooms are clean although the hallways are not, the bathroom is somewhat outdated but the room has plasma TV and Wi-Fi.
The price is very cheap for Paris which makes the hotel good value for money.

The stairs that overlook the rooms don't look clean. There Are A couple of fire extinguishers in which you can make graffiti because they do not take away the dust. The Bathrooms are the best of the room, with tub and space. Room with heating. Good to sleep. He needs some maintenance.

The presentation photos do not correspond to the reality. The room I had was in a very very average condition. Soil deteriorated, tapestry damaged. Sensitive Souls Abstain! But the staff is very nice.

Friendly staffs but our room was very old, the paint on the wall was tearing apart. Very small elevator however the bathroom with bathtub was nice and big and the room was clean! We stayed two nights and the maid came to clean our room and tidied the bed. The breakfast was continental style so you might not be so full if you were used to eat a lot for breakfast.

Staff was really nice, but the state of the rooms where more like 1 star hotel.

Worst hotel ever stayed in my life. Bed mites, allergens, loud/unhygenic guests, sweat smell on pillows and duvets, and more. If sleeping in Paris' street isn't a bad idea for you, you should then consider this hotel, otherwise it is inhuman to put anyone to stay here.

So where to start… At first glance friendly reception by the host agent who informs us that we are there for one night. Except we booked two nights. Finally we can stay one more night and agree to change rooms. That's where it gets tough. The room welcoming and clean in the photos is only the shadow of these. Wallpaper that peels holes in the curtains, plaster that crumbles in the bathroom and very important mold in the shower door. The only good thing about breakfast is the pleasant person who serves it. I strongly advise against this establishment which takes the provincial and foreign tourists for fools.

Staff friendly and available. The neighborhood is very lively. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned but the bedding is comfortable. For the price, a good choice.

Despite a little dust on the fan, hotel with a very good value for money and a very good welcome with a real small served.

This is a small yet comfortable hotel in a pleasantly quiet area of Paris close to Montparnasse. Our room was clean and had a very large en suite bathroom, as well as a lovely view over the park across the street and down the Rue Moulin Vert. Breakfast, which was included in the very reasonable price of the room, was large and very good, but the breakfast room is tiny and cannot possibly fit all of the guests in at once. We had to rise early and consequently got a table, but guests getting up at a more reasonable time had to wait for a table, and we ended up inviting another couple to our already small and crowded table out of sheer pity. We were also irritated by the fact that we had booked a double room but were given a twin room, although I suspect that this was more the fault of the website I used to book our room than that of the hotel itself. Still, it was comfortable and good value, the doors were open 24 hours and the staff were very friendly — we were very grateful to them for keeping our bags for us after we checked out so that we could have the day without lugging them about. A great place for travellers to Paris on a budget, not so much for those who are not.

Very well… we stayed this week after our return from trip 1 month abroad to catch our train at Montparnasse…
VERY good value for money… staff is very nice and told us to take the bus the morning…
++ was the lady who prepared the breakfast… I treat… and for € 8… nothing to say… I'll be back when I'm in the neighborhood.

Excellent location / price if you need to sleep near the Montparnasse train station. Wi — Fi worked well just like TV. The hotel room is not all nine but clean, so nothing off-putting.

How could I not leave a 5 star review for this chic, small, cozy hotel? We stayed at the Moulin Vert hotel, from the 3rd to the 10th of August, and felt lovely all the time. The rooms are spacious for this hotel rating, we had a decent room with a lovely view of the park in front of the hotel, and one evening we decided to stay in and have a little meal with the windows wide open, people watching. The bathroom was equiped with a bathtub and shower facilities, free toiletries… as well. But one of the things that made us feel at home was the lovely staff. Our French was lacking massively, even though we did try our best, but the staff spoke English in an incredibly delightful French accent, and helped us with everything we needed, from temporary storage of our bags till our room was ready for check-in, to ordering us a taxi in the morning of our departure. Via booking website, the price was well worth it, and I felt the star rating could have gone up one star, as it was much better than another hotel location we tried in Germany. Location is in-between two metro stations, Plaissance and Pernety, and the line takes you to Champs Elysee for instance, among other stops. Change to line 6, I believe, and you get to the Bir-Hakeim station, around the corner from the Eiffel tower :) There are also supermarkets around Plaissance metro station, and smaller shops with pretty much anything you need.

Hotel simple, a little older but relatively cheap for Paris… welcome.

Shabby hotel. Rooms we do little more tired (tapestries peeled off, furniture of the 60-70s shabby,. ), small with a unworthy bedding of the two stars announced. A reception poor.

Very good neighborhood bakery pastry.

Excellent restaurant in the neighbourhood of Alésia, with a canopy very nice for family lunch, particularly since the arrival of the beautiful days. The products are of quality and great service. Value price.

Who is writing the reviews for this DUMP! Stay away. Hotel and rooms smell, the matress was like a kids bunk bed, wallpaper peeling, the "triple" is so small and no closet, internet access must be DSL as it is so slow, water in shower is hot then cold, towels are thin and useless, no shampoo, should I go on. Oh, the "breakfast" was bread, coffee/tea, juice. This place is best for teenagers who have no money, don't care where they sleep, are not as concerned about any comfort, and it's not worth more than 10 Euro's, so buyer beware and find somewhere else.

Open 7 days per week, this boulangerie has better than average baguettes and other pastries such as croissants but the prices are quite high for this neighborhood. For example as of July 2008 the price for a baguette is 90 centimes while the typical boulangerie in the more expensive 6th Arrondissement is 85 centimes.
