Improve by having the AC higher in the rooms during the hot days. The lobby is cool but everywhere else in the hotel is luke warm! Why? The refrigerator is luke warm. No ice machines on the floors. More English speaking petsonnel is needed. A less than average hotel.

It's good, the best was the breakfast in this hotel. The staff was very kind so it was ok too. But our room was too dark, and the carpet should be renovated. It's good in price/worth but it's a business hotel not a lovely romatic hotel in Paris.

Excellent hotel. Great location near the moulin rouge, place de clichy metro stop (lines 2 and 13) and numerous bus stops that can take you around most of the city with ease. Room was good, pillows fluffy though bed a bit hard. Decent shower pressure and separate toilet. Minibar comes with 2 bottle of water upon arrival which is not replenished though is useful to fill up with your own stuff. Excellent breakfast comprising continental, cereals, boiled and scrambled eggs, croissants. All unlimited and plentiful. Poor coffee out of the three different types of machine however. The hotel does not give you extra tea and coffee if you finish your rooms supply which is unusual for a 4 star hotel and hence loses a star.

Top-notch hotels, the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. I've never tried breakfast. On the first floor there is a nice gym for free use. I'm just going to get to 4
stars because I find it without personality, so many floors and hundreds of rooms. The thing I like so much is perfume that you start breathing already outside the door.

Comfortable hotel and with pretty nice staff. Handicap: Room cleaning is not on time. If you return to your room in the early afternoon you still find the unremade bed and the bathrooms as you left them in the morning. It is advisable to hire more staff for cleaning.

Great hotel in the city center… lovely rooms… supportive staff… the one thing I didn't like was the beds… it made noises when we sit.

Located in the quaint district of Montmartre in Paris, the hotel has larger than usual rooms. Close to the metro and round the corner from the famous Moulin Rouge. There are many restaurants in the vicinity. Good value for money in a pricey city.

I loved staying at this hotel. Very modern and clean. Standard rooms are on the small side. Not much of a selection for the breakfast buffet. Within walking distance of Sacre Coeur.

Avoid; I was misbilled 11K euros (my bill was 1K), had other underwear of other guests in my laundry, maintenance was done in my room when I wasn't there and it was just left incomplete for half my stay (3 days). I wasn't planning to write a review for the non-billing issues, but when I asked for the hotel to fix the mis-billing, I have received no response now for 2 days. I've called 4 times and sent 2 emails. When I talked to the night manager, he didn't even offer to help, just rudely said to wait. I like the location and the actual building compared to other hotels in Paris. That is why they get 1 star. For their amenities, clearly not for their service nor support. Avoid.

Very nice modern hotel, clean comfortable, the meeting rooms are a real plus, very convenient for working together, as well as the terrace, open spring summer autumn, on which one can have lunch or have a drink.

Very central, a few steps from Pigalle. Excellent service and excellent food. With the metro station nearby — Place de Clichy — you reach every point in the city.

A comfortable, clean hotel near Sacred Heart at a reasonable price in Paris in spring. Supermarket and metro station very close. It's not a Risort hotel.

We would have been satisfied with our stay, but the final evening and and final morning basically ruined our trip. We found out in our last evening that we were supposed to leave really early. We had paid for the breakfast for every morning and in the evening we went to ask about early metros and trains and the possibility to get something for breakfast. The lady at the reception was first of all quite rude and gave false information about the metro timetables and said that there was no chance of getting any breakfast in the morning. This we asked for several times since in high quality hotels there usually is the possibility to get something if you leave early.
Next morning we found out that there would have been a possibility to get some kind of take away — breakfast, but even though we asked we couldn't have it. We think that the situation was really badly handled, no apologies and no attempt to try to fix the situation.

Good location near Montmartre district, Nice bar with terrace, room good with fridge and safe, small bathroom with shower.

Had a wonderful stay. It was way more than we expected. Close to Metro. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is close to the metro, where you can easily get to any point of the city.

Excellent hotel, rooms spacious and modern, in addition to be well located as it is close to the train station and magnificent customer service.

This place was really nice. Staff was nice, rooms were nice, and view was nice. Location was pretty good too. Brought down a star only cause they told me I had breakfast and than they said I didn't. My train got cancelled so I missed the first night and they said they couldn't refund my night. Not really their fault but I was hoping they'd help me out.

Excellent hotel, very helpful staff especially if you need directions to the best places in Paris to visit ask the staff. Even the cleaners where friendly always said bonjour in the mornings & when me & my friend was late for breakfast they still got us some thing to eat & drink. On the day I was leaving the very helpful male staff member called up my transport for me to make sure I arrived at airport on time. Thank you for making my stay in Paris enjoyable.

Location was absolutely amazing, we got a great deal on the room with Fleetway. The rooms are small but clean and sufficient. We were out in the city most of the time, so we didn't need the most extravagant room.

Surprisingly spacious and ideally located, we loved our stay in Montmartre. The hotel felt more like an American hotel, which was unexpected and nice.

The staff is friendly and cooperative. They also changed the room location as per our preference. The hotel location is awesome having easy access to metro station and having lot of food options. Just to mention, they do have good airport transfers.

Very well located. An underground public car park nearby. A hotel whose decoration has been redone recently and it is modern and beautiful. The rooms are quiet, large and also renovated. The perfect breakfast even though I find the design seats but not comfortable to eat! A little less on bathroom maintenance…

Hotel well placed, the room was very pretty, the room where its served breakfast is beautiful, the reception was OK, without more. And of course, we feasted at breakfast, with a large choice of beverage and food as sweet as salty, which is not to displease me.

The room was very good Breakfast is very varied. Small flat for noise on the rooms overlooking the street.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of Clichy Metro Station (Line 2) and Montmarte. The staff are very professional and attentive and speak numerous languages. Breakfast is a self service buffet with a of choice of hot and cold food, catering for all tastes. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well decorated, some have a view of Paris over the rooftops.

I find it a pity the parking is offered, although here is only a public unsupervised super expensive car park in about 2 km distance is Available. The hotel is Okay. Room Stylish. Bathroom unfortunately as so often angegammelt. Breakfast was really perfect and earned full Score. Our pajamas were simply gesvhmissen to the made Bed. For the price of 530 euros for a Dreibettuim, I would have more ereartet.

A nice clean place with very friendly staff, there is restaurant service with good food.

I was allocated room 245 at the end of a corridor on the second floor… it has an intermittent whirring noise like a motor. After two nights of sleep deprivation, the hotel was finally able to change the room for my third night when I was given the kind of room you expect in Mercure. But it does not end there: the breakfast room is in the hotel Bar and the layout is a bit Wierd — the breakfast buffet is spread over three different sections — making it hard to find stuff — The reception staff do what they can to help, but it's not the usual Mercure experience. Shame because the location (Cabaret district on the doorstep and the rue Abesse just behind with all those restaurants makes it and ideal location for this part of Paris). But the hotel is bit of a factory pretending to be a boutique.

My stay at Mercure was pleasant. The staff are very friendly. They have a bar where you can sit outside too. Reasonable price to stay at and is situated in tourist area.

Great hotel, great location, clean, modern, good views, free soft drinks are appreciated. Recommended. Main problem some staff members are unhelpful I. E. Khalil who was rude and condescending and totally did not understand what good service and hospitality meant. He needs training as he lets this hotel down. All this because my key would not operate any of the three lifts and Khalil would not have any of it. Suggested I should walk to floor 9…

Excellent location in Montmartre, Paris within walking distance from Sacree Coeur. Plenty of cafe, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Easy access to public transportation. Nice and clean rooms. The only negative point is the lack of good view from rooms as the hotel is surrounded by buildings.

Really great hotel in a good location. Very friendly staff. Our rooms were beautiful, modern and very clean. The bar is on the first floor and has a lovely terrace were you can enjoy day and night. Definitely recommend this hotel. Very lovely views of the Eiffel Tower and the Sacre Coeur from the window in my room.

Service A1! Courtesy, cleanliness, copious breakfasts, large rooms, close to the Metro Place de Clichy, at the foot of the Montmartre Butte, near the Sacré Coeur, beautiful terrace, superb view of the privileged rooms, etc. Two stays of a week spent at this hotel… And I would go back tomorrow morning!

Overall very good but with important differences between rooms. It takes a little luck to be well housed. The Finesse room is a real plus even if it is small.

The room is well soundproofed, of modern style. The breakfast is international and rich. The tourist area but quiet.

Great place to stay in Paris. Rooms are nice with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly. The people at the concierge were very helpful. Metro station is 1-2 minute walk. Many restaurants are so close. Wepler, 2 blocks down, is a fabulous place for dinner, upscale and food was great. The wait staff spoke english pretty well. We have gone twice.

Hotel is clean and close to the metro. Only real complaint is that the bed is hard as a rock. Staff did try to accommodate by adding a pillow top to our mattress and were polite about it, but after a long day of walking and sightseeing, an uncomfortable bed was rough for us.

I had paid the hotel via the Expedia website. My payment also included local taxes, but at the time of check-out I must pay them again.

Convenient location: 5min walk to Montmartre village, good bus connections to centre. Plenty of shops & restaurants nearby. Comfortable room, adequate size, but bay window space could be better integrated into room. Decor a little dark. Few English language TV entertainment channels. Bath tub floor very slippery, requires extreme care when showering. Difficult to avoid splashing water outside bath tub when showering. Soap dispenser location makes it difficult to dose soap into palm of hand while showering as soap is masked by shower water.

Very nice hotel terrace in summer now it's freezing. Very friendly staff.
Downside: price of breakfast was a bit overrated. For the same price we had lunch at 2 in a small friendly bar.

It was a wonderful stay. Everyone was very polite. The hotel was beautiful, clean and well run. Would have given 5 stars except our reservation was lost. However they weren't rude, we had the confirmation for our stay so they found another room for us. The management were splendid and I wish I could remember the lobby employee that helped because she was so polite through our stay. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

Hotel Mercure was a great hotel for us! We loved the neighborhood of Montmartre and this hotel was in walking distance. It's nice, new, clean, trendy and offered an excellent breakfast! The rooftop terrace was a great way to get outside for breakfast, or to get connected to Wi-Fi after a long day of sightseeing. We would highly recommend Hotel Mercure!

We had a lovely stay, only unfortunately, some families were during our stay there, which caused early in the morning a lot of noise in our gear…

The hotels of this very well and it is superb.

Freshly renovated, this hotel located at the foot of Montmartre has a bar which has totally renovated as its terrace! So yes, it feels good on this terrace to enjoy a good cocktail but unfortunately feels far from Montmartre and the atmosphere of this village of Paris.

All in all an excellent hotel as a starting point of a Paris aspect. Great BETT. Chic rooms. Also really great. Always clean. Fits in the mercure pattern. Unfortunately, it must be said also that there is still no German TV station and only 1 or 2 English. Breakfast at mercure I'm better used. Really boring. Every day the same. I can imagine that French breakfast so boring and with little choice. Otherwise how said thumbs up.

Average quality Hotel but with a good location to visit Paris. Close to Clichy and Montmartre.

Clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff, a few steps from the Basilica du Sacre Coer, and Moulin Rouge. Served very well from Place de Clichy. Highly recommended.

Stayed here one night for a weekend in Paris. Room only. Room clean and well furnished. Great location. We used it only as a base for getting around the city. The rating is still good. Provided with all comforts. Maybe a bit pricy. The staff very friendly and not at all pushy. Just steps from the metro station and close to the Sacred Heart Cathedral. I didn't try the restaurant service.

The room was not properly clean at the reference, the carpet in the entrance area was heavily polluted, undefinable stains were on the walls. The breakfast of our package consisted of soft bread rolls, croissants, sticky cooked ham, tasteless cheese (every day the same selection), jam. The service left some days very to be desired. German television there — although they were offered — not to see. Plus: An excellent bed.

The hotel itself is like, the level of service 3***.
