Very friendly hotel with a great staff…

We have stayed here twice. We love this hotel. It is close to train station and is fabulous.

Very terrible experience never live before in hotel. NO A/C the staff in the front desk knows the situation. They lie me when they told me some one is coming to fix the A/C the only they did open the door and in out side was cool when we will comeback of course that was cool for 5 minutes after that the situation in the room was bad…
don't recommend at all.
the situation in this hotel was unacceptable the owners and the staff know the situation of the aures conditioned. It is terrible to stay there in a room with 2 fans (fans) we were changed 3 times room in 4 days. Just horrible.
Don't even find out about this so-called hotel.

Terrible experience. If you want to stay in a sauna and get treated bad “feeling that I hate customer” experience this is the hotel for you. They change us 3 times of different rooms saying the a/c was working when they were ALL aware they were NOT. One of the concierge told us that the owner KNOWS about the a/c not working and doesn’t care. They do not tell you anything and since you are already there they just offered old fans. Horrible horrible horrible. And on top of that you ask for ice for water and with attitude the concierge tell you “I don’t have a refrigerator, no ice” “ can’t help you” not even sorry or anything… the train station from here unless is only the 5 you are ok… the area is bad don’t go alone to the station not secured.

Very nice hotel, the room was small but very clean and it smelled great! When in Paris you should go out, so the size of the room doesn't matter. The beds were comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Good location, not far from the subway and Gare du Nord. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning a city trip to Paris! And oh yeah, yummy breakfast, something that's hard to find in France! ;-)

This place has spacious rooms and stylish decor. All of the employees have been kind, courteous and very helpful. I have spent one night here so far and fully look forward to the next three as the beds were very comfortable. If I ever happen to make it back to Paris, this is most likely the place im going to stay!

We stayed with a group and while we did not have any issues, 3 out our 6 rooms had faulty AC (-2 stars). Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very nice. Location is good for exploring Paris. Breakfast was excellent. Room and bathroom was clean.

This hotel is very good. Staff is very friendly and they help you with local sightseeing as well. You can book a taxi from hotel quickly. Location is good. Restaurants and stations are at walkable distance. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Though the rooms look close to each other but when you enter the room you will find them spacious enough. Breakfast menu doesn't change much. But they keep special items of Paris which you can try for free. Other perks include free coffee and snacks at anytime. Plus free foosball and outdoor sitting which is stylish.

Very cordial and courteous, helpful. Good welcome. Room spacious and comfortable.

Decent hotel. Clean with friendly staff and good breakfast. My room could have been a bit quieter, but noisy guests who allow their doors to slam are not the fault of the hotel.

The rooms were very nice and, even though it was small, there was plenty of space for me and the other guest. The bathroom was also very nice, however the shower was a bit difficult to use because there was only a curtain and you could not angle the shower head toward it. Other than that, the hotel room was perfect and the staff was very accommodating.

Very nice hotel with Parisian charm. The location is fine with about 5 minutes walk to the train. The rooms are a little narrower, which is due to the design of the Parisian apartments, which I found positive, however, as it expresses the already mentioned Parisian charm.

Hotel half renovated, decent but nothing more. Correct for overnight stay if you need to be in the neighborhood.

Nice hotel situated in a good location between Gare de l'Est & République. Decent rooms. Basic breakfast. Excellent price/quality ratio.

The room was good, the bathroom had a bad smell, the breakfast is really good.

Reception Open 24 h really abundant Breakfast with a granda variety and all of excellent quality.
I spent 3 nights, but to my surprise at the return of the second day of visits, tired dead, I found the room not redone.
I went to complain in reception, they asked the staff who responded that there was no sign to disturb.
At that I reiterated that it was enough to knock and that someone could have turned the sign and that you can't leave a room like that.
The last morning at breakfast, despite the influx was very poor, we found all The tables dirty, still to be clear.
After asking to prepare us a table, we had to continually ask to bring things missing ALD buffet, dishes, cutlery, jams, honey etc. But This definitely depended on the staff that morning, or 2 ladies of color who besides not See over at their noses, they had not. Want to do anything!
Apart from these 2 episodes the place is really cute although not soundproof at the expense of privacy (it seemed to have in the other room. Hotel Guests)

The hotel is in very poor condition, dirty elevator and walls, my room was on the 7 floor, extremely noisy, the safe box didn't work, the service people is very friendly but due to the condition of the hotel I will not recommend it.

Decent but small room and management 8s nit very good with their staff.

Beautiful decoration, room need some repairs. Interior garden shares the windows of the room suite which cause 2 bad things. Noise, people talking won t let you sleep and hotel staff didn't do nothing. Second and for the worst, people were smoking in the interior garden and the smell of the smoke enter in the room which was very nasty.

Small boutique hotel between Place de la Republique and Gare du Nord. Priced correct and has a free happy hour for all the guests.

Fantastic hotel. Comfortable rooms. Staff amazing couldn't do enough to help us. Would definitely recommend. Centrally located 3 mins walk from Jacques Bonsergeant metro (line5) 2 stops from Gare du Nord. Portable Wi-Fi hire €1 for 24 hours for up to ten devices — loved it.

Can really remember the names but the Spanish girl along with the Serbian and French guys from reception were amazing! Always available to answer any question, always nice and polite with us, professional and friendly.
The hotel is really nice, very well situated, short distance from many metro station, he's very clean and very well organised, the croissant at the breakfast buffet are just gorgeous, and the free coffe 24/7 a gift.
The room are clean and spacious, there is everything you need in there.
Overall the hotel has a really nice design, loving the outside/smoking area, just next to the reception.
They also offer the little Wi-Fi box to bring with you, while you visiting the city, for only 1€ per day! Worked perfectly and we never had any problem comunicate with our parents or between each other, helped using city mapper many other apps, really useful!
We would like to say thank you to all the staff, we had an amazing experience in your hotel, we will raccomande you to any of our friends that wants visit Paris!

Probably the only hotel with large room n which I have been in Paris. The boy of reception was super nice, which not is very usual by Paris.
I was delighted with the hotel, but gets a bit in price on the average.

Hotel 3 *, the staff is listening to customers. The room was a single but the size of this last is more than adequate, very clean, TV in the room, there still good size. Whether the setting, the rooms, it is warm and decorated with taste.
For smokers, there is a patio and the latter is like the rest of the hotel, clean and neat.
To make multiple stays in Paris, frankly to recommend hotels.
On prices, given the quality and benefits of hotel 3 *, it is in my top 5 of the best hotels.
Close to the North and East stations, station Jacques Bonsergent (line 5) is 2 minutes.

All in all I was happy with my birthday stay at Hotel Magenta. There was few things that could have been better: My room was smaller than in the pictures on the website, the bathroom sink stank. There wasn't flowers in the room like on the pictures, they did not have a vase for my birthday flowers. : ( The breakfast consisted of pretty much only basics. &The smell of the bedsheets could have been better (the laundry detergent smelled sour). The arrondissement of the hotel was dangerous, a disgusting old guy followed me around in a car trying to get me to sit next to him. Ew! Girls, be careful at night in Paris!

Many access to public transportation, near Gare du nord and l'est, location is good, the price is even better. It passes budget hotels's standard. Many appliances start to wear off: hot water is on and off but at least it is not ice cold, hairdryer has to be tricked on to. The hotel is clean, bed is sleep-able, the reception is helpful, attentive and kind.

Casting error
Having booked a room for 2, we found ourselves in a good with a 1 bed room. After a discontent expressed to the receptionist who speaks a halting french, we still got a twin room. Phew. However the bathroom it will always be each turn: it comes not two at the same time. The room is certainly bigger but not better. And the Cup on the ground under the toilet that's very average.
Personally I do not recommend. More than 100 euros a night and 12 euros breakfast. Blah blah blah. Especially for a 3 stars.

Good price, good location, nice people, clean room. Very low water pressure, in TV could be one music channel (only french ch. ).

I chose based on cost and the many positive reviews and I was incredibly happy with the facilities and the staff of the hotel. They treated me like a welcomed guest and provided a clean and well maintained environment that exceeded my high hopes. The room was bigger than I expected for the price and included a nice flat-screen TV, closet and cozy bathroom. The bed was comfortable. From the top floor the view was surprisingly nice and I could peak out to see Sacre Coeur and the Eiffel tower lighted all night. The breakfasts were simple but very well made and provided enough selection and nutrients to satisfy me for most of the day — an important aspect of a hotel choice for budget conscious travelers. There were enough choices to cover most appetites if you are traveling with family. Prices will fluctuate based on demand and the seasons and I am very experienced at traveling on a severely limited budget, but I spent only a little more in 4 nights than I would have in 1 night at a Hilton. Considering the low costs I incurred and the great service and nice facilities, I couldn't be happier with the choice I made.

The room we had was a renovated room. Very nice finish, sober and chic, colors way bed, flat-screen TV in very good quality, clean and functional bathroom.
Insulation of the door may be a little light, but no noise from corridor or neighbors.
Breakfast well-served, reception quite responsive and professional service!

Insulation between the rooms do not exist, c is a shame to pay 230 euros and did not get to sleep. Rooms minimalists and finishes that are poor (a light bulb H. S. Wires dangling). The TV is poor quality. We can sleep better in a formula 1.

Stayed for 6 days in August, found it clean and well managed, the breakfast is v. Good, as described below, plently of variety to suit all tastes. Location is good with direct access to the metro and main stations. The main road can get noisy at night so avoid a front facing room if you are a light sleeper. Good value, stayed for just over 100 euro a night, would use again.

Close to public transport — but who needs it? walking is part of the fun. Able to fill up on their huge breakfast buffet (NOT a continental breakfast) — eggs, sausage, cheeses, breads, pastries, yogurts, fresh fruits, juices, coffee, hot cocoa, tea, cereal, etc — filled up on breakfast and didn't really need to eat the rest of the day — we never got hungry despite walking everywhere. So saved lots of money on food.

Very nice, knowledgeable reception. Clean, quiet room to the courtyard (we had room 405). Centrally located to the Metro 2 minutes from the Gare l'est 1 Station. Free Internet Access. Breakfast could be a bit rich. Otherwise, we were really satisfied.
