These are real pictures of my room. Also the bathtub was clog and the bed awful. I rented two rooms and my kids had to use my shower.

Review for their ‘Superior Room’ type — Majorly outdated (very old and very basic) and going through long renovation process. I think staff cop many complaints and put you onto duty manager on the phone and they don’t have much they can or want to do? They know most of us won’t come back and are just tourists. Unfortunately we are here for 9 nights: ( Note — see second review after 2 room changes and now paying another €80 per night for a ‘Deluxe Room’ whichnis fully renovated and modern (thank god, our holiday was going to be depressing)

Really enjoyed the whole ambiance of the hotel. The reception were very helpful on arrival. Couldn’t rate higher.

Excellent location & a very friendly staff. A huge thank you especially to Habiba for her warm welcome during our entire stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

The hotel is very decent. In the middle. A five-minute walk from St. Magdalene Cathedral, within walking distance of the Ferris wheel, the park, the Louvre, etc. The only thing is cold in the rooms. There were in February. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. Not a bad breakfast.

Taking into account the fact that the visit coincided with the victory of France in the World Cup, the hotel was quite quiet and safe, as it is located next to the presidential palace. The rooms are spacious and comfortable enough. Loved breakfast.

The location of the hotel is the only really good thing to mention about the hotel. When we arrived, they told us that the room will be ready at 2 pm. When we came back at 2.30 pm, they said, there is a small problem. Meaning they did not have a room for us, although we booked about 6 months prior. After a long and very unpleasant conversation, they said, we could get the room we booked at 6.30 pm. Not a nice start to be honest. The breakfast room is much too small for a hote…l of this size. This is why you have to cue up for breakfast. Although the breakfast is open until 10.30 am, there was next to no food left on the buffet when we were able to get into the room (after queuing up for around 20 minutes) at 10.10 am. This was the first time ever in my life, that a hotel staff member told me, that I should have come earlier, because they do not have any more food to bring. So the only things we could get where some slices of toast and a few slices of cheese. Very very unfriendly and rude staff in the breakfast area. The room was okay… but although it seemed to be one of the freshly refurbished rooms, the shower was more like bath tube, because the water was not going away… like for hours. So, also the cleaning staff did not seem to do a good job. All in all… I would not recommend this hotel in any way. Except for the location.

This hotel is very well located as it is near to Place de la Concorde and therefore to Champs Elysees. The rooms are comfortable enough for three people using an extra bed. The buffet breakfast was really good with lots of options such as eggs, breads, cheese, hams, cereals, juices, milk and fruits. The hallways look a little bit run down. I did not get our room when I arrived until 8pm but I was conpensated with free breakfast and late check out. That late room availability thing did not bother me that much because I was going to leave my baggage at the hotel and leave for enjoying my day. On the other hand, the hotel personnel at the lobby are cool, multilingual, and willing to help. I would come back to this hotel.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, good location and 5 minutes from the train stations. Good value overall.

Beds are too hard. Hallways are under repair. Hotel is in great location within one to two blocks of American, Canadian and British Embassies and French President's residence and lots of beautiful shops. Also walking distance to many tourist sites.

Everything is very well and very well served! But in Paris this hotel is difficult we got lost but found, and still in the restaurant there are only breakfasts!

No surveillance cameras my client gets robbed his bag the receptionist had nothing to fuck all the money of the stay more jewelry in the lobby while he recorded arrived.

The hotel is reforming, but that doesn't justify having the carts with the dirty sheets in the hallways. The reception staff does not speak Castilian and hardly English, putting little or no interest in making themselves understood.
On the other hand, the cleanliness of the fie room was excellent with daily change of sheets and towels. The breakfast was good.

Very expensive rooms that are not worth their price. The corridors and rooms are used to. During our stay, the room was not cleared twice. The heating in the room and bathroom didn't work. It was only after we complained that a radiator was put in the room. The front desk staff took a very long time to check in, so there was a long wait. At the reception there is no information material about the immediate surroundings or about Paris. Due to renovations, it was sometimes quite noisy. I can't recommend this hotel any further.

Very unprofessional for 4 star kind of hotel which you cannot extend your room even just for one night after you've stayed for more than one week in this hotel, where you stay regularly every 2 months since 2014. Fully booked is unreasonable, how can you not prepare the room for your guests who might extend it?!? Not to mention, rude behavior staffs plus last but not least you cannot check-in yet at 7pm.

Been there in March 2018. Great room, spacious, beautiful bathroom and very polite personnel. It was located in the very center of everything and it is definitely for recommendation.

Maybe I was unlucky and I found some work in progress. But the experience is to be forgotten although the staff have been courteous and cooperative.

Traveaux underway and I was robbed twice an umbrella and a new panatlon of my son. They do the cleaning of the rooms at 3pm or more.

To flee absolutely the hotel has debited me 2 times, due to a discrepancy of data between booking and my reservation.
I note that the reception has done absolutely nothing to find a solution, then offered me to pay on the spot, certifying that it will cancel the reservation issued on booking that nothing CANCELS at all, I was DEBITE 2 times, with refusal of reimbursement of the ETABLISS DISMAL METHODS, TO FLEE ABSOLUTELY.

Chic hotel in the heart of Paris. Close to many of the city's top attractions and parks. Surrounded by high end shopping and government buildings. As a result, heavy law enforcement presence throughout the area. Long term construction project taking place to the interior of the hotel, closing the restaurant and creating noise during the day. Had no effect on our 2nd story room as we didn't hear anything in the morning and we were out and about all day. Room was spacious and clean… family friendly suite.

Hotel that does not deserve its four stars. The rooms are modest. As a double room, we had a cjamcha with three beds including two glued to serve as a double bed.
We also hear people walking down the hallway from the room.
I do not recommend.

Very close to Place Vendome is under renovation, room was clean but ugly with old furniture and ruined walls. It's in the street of all the prestigious brands of the world, but… a few restaurants and all dear, we always moved to eat. For now I would not recommend it, if I come back I will definitely change area.

Quite uncomfortable because they are of works. They change your room and noises of blows at eight in the morning.

I booked a room for two. Correct. Compared to other hotels, even 4 stars, the reception of the TV was good without jerks. Negative: A not very pleasant odor escaped from the syphon of the shower.

Still redecorating and no refill of tea and water if you stay more than one night, bathing materials are not good.

Not quite fresh, but has charm. Acceptable price for the prime location. It is currently being renovated.

I’ve never ever experienced such a bad and disrespectful service in any hotel in Paris and I visit at least four times per year. My stay was cancelled on my way to the hotel — no apologies, no better options, no help offered. It seemed to be quite normal for them to have angry customers, so safe money and nerves and don’t go there.

Great location In renovation work but we took advantage of a very interesting promotion. The room is very large near 20m2! With bathtub and shower. A Parisian super We. However during the busy hours recording his arrival or his departure requires a lot of patience. Only one employee at the reception so very quickly overwhelmed. Baggage management is a matter of improvisation. It's a pity for a hotel of this category.

Bad Hotel, we wanted to charge two beers we never consumed, the buffet staff is lousy do not know if they are laughing at you or another a lack of total respect, it took like 3 hours to clean the room, throughout the hotel there is a strange smell like pepper, not a 4 star hotel I would say a Hostel is much better and cheaper.

Location, location. Hotel is undergoing some renovations. Room was clean, but a little outdated. My TV did not receive all the channels that my colleague did. But I had a terrace and a view of the Eiffel Tower. If you are just looking for a place to sleep after a day of sightseeing, this is fine. If you want hotel amenities, not fine. It was okay for one night on a business trip.

The staff is nice and speaks several languages. The hotel. Is being renovated so it was a bit messy. We were upgraded to a prestige room quite spacious and very functional. The room ends up not being too pricey either.

Only advantage is the location. Arrived at 7:30 in the evening and our room was not ready. We were told this with no apology, only offered to go back outside. What if we had arrived at 2pm? The bathroom had a glass door which faced the bed and could not be closed from the outside. Poor breakfast options. No proper light in the room. The fire alarm went off one morning and we had to go downstairs. The staff made no announcement or apology as to what was happening. Run by rude and ill prepared people.

4 stars? … Mah… The rooms and staff would say they can also be up to par but the facility is a work in progress… For now it is a 2 star with so much potential.

The hotel was close to everything and everywhere. The staff were very helpful and nice.

Awful hotel… Under construction with one small lift and bonus only in location.

Central location. Easy to get to from metro station. Within walking distance to many of the main attractions. Hotel undergoing renovation at the time we stayed so smell of paint in the room and alternative entrance.

Staying here now for the 4th night. Everuthing prepaid on the check-in.
Found a dirty underpants in our bed. The night manager, who is poorly speak English, start to bulling me, and when I told to the other guests that they should check their beds, recorded me on the phone! After it he told me that it was me who put the dirty underwear in the bed!

Следующая фраза убила, так как он заявил что я сам подложил чужие трусы в номер!

A little old and stuffy but they do try their best to keep the rooms and toilets clean. It was located near a ysl store which told you what kind of street we were in! Dont worry! There were affordable brands aa you go down the streets such as longchamp. It's also walking distance to concorde wich can take you to the lourve, jardin des tuileries, champs elysees and angelina's at rue de rivoli! If youre on a walking spree, we were able to get to the eiffel tower by foot too!

The view from the rooms on the Eiffel Tower is amazing.

Hotel shamed the family of hoteliers, the rooms are property and the location. It lacks more than the staff… Too bad, for this hotel! One tip, if you want to be sure to spend the night, go to another hotel, Paris is full of them.

The location is superb especially for those who are interested in Fashion! One part of the hotel was a bit out dated, but another one was super new, newly refurbished and quite spacious for Paris rooms.

Terrible services. No Wi-Fi, very old interior! Air condition is not worked, the windows can not close correctly! Every single experience is really bad even the altitude of staffs!

The service is excellent, however the site is under construction. The hotel still needs a bit more renovating and once everything is complete they'll certainly become a 4/5 star hotel. The price is reasonable and the location is in the heart of Paris.

What a rat-hole. The worst hotel I ever stayed in.

Impeccable service and spacious rooms. Nothing to say as part of the work, not against a bit expensive for a private trip.

Arrived at the hotel around 11:30, they had not yet confirmed by fax and mail the day before booking. Finally, after 20 minutes of trading, we had a room which was clean but the shower hose was hs and several lamps also. Icing on the cake, the fire alarm that is triggered in the morning throughout the hotel. Very bad experience.

The manager (she) was a bitch, not helpful at all, the rest of the staff ware the opposite, no hot water, matchbox size room, and after a 25 hour flight from melbourne australia, we ware knackered! arriving in paris at 6am, and arriving at the hotel de castiglione at 8 am we ware informed our rooms would not be available until 2 pm that day, not a problem, we walked around paris for 6 hours until 2 pm, when we got to our rooms there was no hot water for a shower, which we badly needed, and at $300.00 a night it is disgraceful, only stayed 2 nights, and caught a flight to dublin the next day, what a differance ireland was! never again! will I stay in the hotel de castiglione.
