Totally mouldy and dirty.

There is No elevator. I touched the fifth floor with luggage and no elevator. The dining room which have just you can have breakfast there.

Hotel is over the top but you could sleep there.

This place was awful. The shower took forever to heat up and cool down. The flooring in the room was sunken in. The duvet cover was stained. The ceiling was patched. We had to climb up 4 flights of stairs to get to our room. The receptionist that checked me in was very unhelpful. Pictures that were used to advertise this hotel were very deceiving as they don't look anything like the actual rooms.

The employees are weird … one day good, another day bad. There is an employee morocho, when we came to understood Spanish and when we went, by a delay in the taxi, so as I always say, and went out with that didn't understand Spanish. Not cleaned daily the room. You have to climb stairs to the rooms. Very bad experience. I don't recommend it.

It is old but for the price you should not ask for more. I'm going back to stay because I don't have to complain. It may be that the shower in the rooms is rare but it was already.

It's enough if you intend just to sleep there at nights. Don't expect any extra comforts. The room was a little crooked, we felt as if we're climbing uphill when walking from one end of the room to the other :D We had a bad experience at the reception that while checking out, we were informed that we need to pay them cash for the stay. We had expected that the money would be deducted automatically from the creidt card with which we had booked. We weren't informed anything about the payment during check-in or during the stay and while checking out, half an hour before we had to go catch our trains, the receptionist demanded us for cash with no other options (no debit card, no money transfer, no credit card). There was a last minute chaos where we had to run around looking for an ATM machine, paying and running with our baggage to the metro and the main railway station platforms to catch the trains. So be ready with cash!

Cheap but well …
Let's start with what we first made acquaintance with:
The building itself doesn't really look bomb. Especially because a nobler hotel takes its roots right next to it.
Inside, though, it's quite sweet.
At the reception sits a nice helpful woman. Of course, she doesn't always sit there, we've already talked to 2 different nice gentlemen.
So they don't understand English, so if you're told that everyone is just talking French there.
Since we were a lot too early we were able to park our luggage and go on Klo. We already saw a "communal fridge" and a microwave.
To get to a room earlier, we changed the room for the first night.
The first room smelled a bit strange and the shower no longer looked beautiful. There were black spots everywhere and the smell kept coming even after airing. I'm not an expert on mold, but I guess it was.
The sink stood a bit oblique. But the feast with the sloping walls and the floor hardly.
Luckily, the supposed mold did not exist in the 2nd room.
Whether even here the next morning in the sink and shower animals can't crawl out of the drain at the time of the review.
I write them on site, because the Internet works here without any problems. For some, the Internet cannot even keep up with the Internet.

By the way, the Internet also works in all rooms without any problems.

Small Hotel very well located to visit the Latin Quarter, Notre-Dame cathedral etc. A special mention for the kindness and the solicitude of the manager of this establishment who advised us very well during our stay.

Horrible service, no lift, FIVE flights of stairs up a narrow, spiralling staircase and guests are required to leave room keys at the desk when the leave for the day and pick them up when they return. Pictures on website are not the room we received. Would not recommend and would not return.

Rooms are clean. Friendly stuf. Very good location. Close to sein river and notre dame de paris.

Basic. Dirty. Overpriced. Stayed in a ground floor room that opened straight out onto an outside alleyway. No light worked at our end. Dirty room smelled damp, black mould on the ceiling and walls. The shared WC has no sink, or anywhere to wash your hands, and stinks of urine. Stay elsewhere, the price is not worth it.

The room is comfy and spacy, but the stairs will drive you crazy. The others inconvenience is the quite of the room.

It is an excellent hotel, located in a strategic place. Near Notre Dame, the uncle Seine and in the Latin quarter. It is a place with excelent location for walking to various points of interest. The service is very friendly. But eye do not speak Spanish. And keep in mind that does not have a lift. But it is worth it.

This hotel deserves ZERO stars. First off, our bathroom in our room shared a wall with the communial hallway bathroom and our room smelled like feces was leaking out of the pipes. It was so bad that we had to keep our window open. After two nights of this MISERABLE experience we decided to ask for a refund for our last night so we could move elsewhere. The owner of this Hostel was extremely rude and refused to refund us (broke college students) our $78. I told him I would refrain from writing this review if he would just refund us. He refused, and now you all know how disgusting this Hostel is. This place should be condemned. Do not stay here. You will get bed bugs and you will die.

The bathrooms and showers are all separate rooms, you can't keep your key when you leave the hotel, the stairways are incredibly confusing and they're not lighted.

Cheap Hotel with a great location and not so friendly staff.

Very good hotel, close to the Cathedral, good service.

No elevator, noisy plumbing, looked, room and for can be the wind tunnel next to the toilet as soon as someone go… At least the bed is comfortable and the location is good.

2nd time staying here. The service is always good. Staff friendly and helpful. I don't speak French too well, so I appreciate that they can speak English. The stairs are narrow and the weirdest I've ever seen, but they are fun. I prefer the room with the shower in room, but that is mainly because I stay for several days at a time. I highly recommend this conveniently located hotel.

Very bad experience: I have paid the bill in such species as is the standard of the hotel and after I have loaded on my card the night (78 euros) and to me it is impossible for me to return the money so that you have care. Rooms are old, almost all dark, decadent furniture, there is no elevator and if you have to climb the stairs (spiral) with a large suitcase may not be as it is incredibly narrow, etc, etc. I would Not recommend it to anyone.

Good simple hotel at a very good spot in the city.

I have been meaning to write a review about this place for a while. It was the most amazing place I could of chosen to stay at for my first visit to France. The location is amazing! We were in walking distance from everything! When we arrived we got a lovely welcome, our room was clean and neat and the service was friendly. There are lovely restaurants across the road as well as a great Irish pub. I really enjoyed my stay there and when I return to Paris some day I will definitely stay there again.

Hotel located in a central, quiet and very nice area of Paris. A two minute walk from Notre-Dame and well connected with all parts of the capital. The price is low, we have got a room with a shared bathroom, but it was always free and always very clean. Showers are located on the ground floor and cost 2 euro, these are very clean. We provide free wi fi, a pc, a printer and a microwave to heat anything. Does not have a kitchen, with breakfast, but two steps there is a little square with shops where you can buy freshly baked croissants and pastries to 1 euro. Fantastic.
Even the people at the reception were always friendly and helpful and the owner is Italian and even gave us a lot of information about how to move.
It was a wonderful experience that I would do.

Nice and cheap for Paris.

Prepare for no lift, no bathroom in any room and wicked narrow stairways up to 5th floor.

I've stayed there two times and I recommend it. It's a few minutes walk to Notre Dame, there are some restaurants and supermarkets around it and the staff was nice. Unfortunately, as it's usual in many buildings in Paris, there are no elevators, so be aware that you're gonna have to go up the stairs with your luggage.
