Love this hotel. Rooms are small so don't expect to spread out. Bathroom doors are see through hope you love the one you're with. Breakfast every morning was consistent and good, a few hot items. Everyone at front desk speaks English very well. Will definitely stay here again. Booked this hotel through our package.

Small hotel in a good location. Close enough to the main places of interest. Rooms are not that big, but big enough. Breakfast is good and plentiful.

Actually nice hotel with a good location. However, very unfriendly receptionist at check-in and the room (junior suite) was slightly strangely cut and the layout was very impractical. Breakfast was very good.

We had a lot of fun staying in this very nice establishment. The Proustian landscaping, the many winks, the cleaning…
Everything was almost perfect! Among the small details I noticed that the adorable madeleines were only offered to us on the first day, I also regretted that we could not order breakfast in the room the same morning and that, despite our placard, a maid sought to Get our breakfast tray one morning. Always for breakfast (still excellent), I think the bread should be in relation to the order (if you order cheese or other, there could be a little more than in case of continental breakfast). Last point: One evening we had to wait until nearly midnight that we open… it was not long but annoying all the same. But none of this will prevent us from returning to this beautiful establishment with the absolutely great idea!

The Literature theme adds a special touch and makes the hotel unique. The decor and furnishings throughout the hotel are of a very high standard and is welcoming. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was serviced daily and was always cleaned to a high standard.

It is a great hotel near the metro station, there is great breakfast. Only the rooms are pretty small, for the rest it is a great hotel.

Great location, great service with express breakfast and later check out at the Paris Marathon.

Very good hotel. It is close to our office so we use it for work. Staff is friendly and the location is convenient to get to many parts of the city and Europe given its proximity to the train.

Hello I have to make a 2 nights stay in your hotel professionally.
I renew the experience without hesitation.
Small flat, the size of the office a little small to work with a laptop and the room under the Roofs (6th) when you are big… you have to be careful not to bump yourself by rising;)

Excellent value for money. Good location close to Saint Lazare, the prices are not excessive for a best Western premier, and the comfort of the rooms is very good.

Our third stay in this hotel, good as always. Spacious room, good furniture. Excellent breakfast. Only two remarks: — every room has a coffee making machine, which is excellent. But if you use this machine to get hot water for tea, the tea will always have a coffee taste, even if you "clean" the machine first by running it a few times. It would be great if a kettle/water boiler could be added. — housekeeping could be better. Everything was perfect when we arrived, but the next days were not so good. Cleaning is at unpredictable hours, sometimes early, sometimes late. One day we came back to the hotel at around 16.30 PM and after a full day in Paris we wanted to shower and to rest. But the room was not yet made, and we had no towels. Also, in general the supply of everything needed is poor. It doesn't really help if you find only one set of everything (one towel, soap, small bottle with bath gel etc) when there are two guests in the room. Toilet paper was not supplied every day, we had to ask at reception. On the first day there were small cakes /cookies with the coffee machine, but not on the other days (during previous stays this was supplied every day). Etc. So room for improvement here. Apart from this: a very pleasant stay.

An average stay overall for 2 nights. The room is not very well insulated street side. More red stains on the towels and on the sheets signs of an obvious lack of hygiene have spoiled our stay.

Decent hotel close to center of Paris. Prices are reasonable — even in high season. Rooms are as small as everywhere else in Paris — do not expect too much space. Comfortable beds and clean restrooms plus good service. If you will decide to reserve night with breakfast, do not expect too much. Most of it is cheese and bread plus some meat and vegetables but rather basic choice. If you like to eat eggs or something hot go to brasseries closer to train station. Hot buffee is a joke. Staff knows some English but if you do not know take your phone to translate questions. The only news channel in English in TV is BBC. No fitness room — which was rather suprising. I was sure that they are required in four stars venues. Because the hotel is close to place where Marcel Proust was living you can find many books and materials about him in the hotel. Also very interesting lamp in a room (not sure if it is in everyroom).

I stayed only one night but this short stay was very nice. The hotel is really beautiful and it feels like home. I really enjoyed the little Madeleine wink!
I arrived at noon and I still had a room. The next day I received a call from the lobby around 11am to find out if I wanted to enjoy a late check-out which was extremely enjoyable.
I will come back and recommend it.

The location was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing is that some receptionist are rude and impatient.

Chain hotel trying to mask itself as niche boutique hotel, I think that's where the problem starts. The service is great and staffs are more then wonderful BUT the hotel (physically) is undoubtedly awkard. At first glance it's just another average chain hotel however upon introduction, it tries so desperately to market itself as the hotel for intellectuals … By placing a mini shrine of a french writer, a few artworks and a 25 page brochure explaining itself, dose not make it a niche hotel. I wish they would have made more of an effort in doing research on the era the writer was active, and try to recreate on how the place would feel and smell instead. What's the word I am looking for … inauthentic.

Great location, great design, tiny rooms, comfy bathroom, welcome water and Madeline. Nespresso with 2 capsules daily. Two elevators. Computer and printer for guests in lobby. The supposed literary character could be promoted a bit further. Occasionally infrastructure problems that are solved within a day.

Pretty hotel. Everything clean and see nice staff. Unfortunately, our room was really VERY small (max 12sqm)

Staff were lovely, kind and helpful. Hotel was very clean, nice furnished and cozy. Breakfast was much better than we expected; we really enjoyed having it. Hotel is close to Metro station and this is an another plus. The only thing that I can suggest; please renew the water during housekeeping. Unfortunately we had to drink tap water. In conclusion, I will definitely recommend Best Western Premier Le Swan to my friends or who is going to visit Paris.

Nice welcoming hotel. The rooms bear the names associated with Marcel Proust, this adds authenticity. Very good location. Walking distance. The rooms are not so small, the balconies. Be quiet. Breakfast was good. No smoking.

Room is very TINY, no room to walk or sit. Very uncomfortable. Worst I seen. Staffs need to be retrained for American style customer service. I was wrong to book this hotel thinking it's an American company so the staffs should know how to provide customers service with a smile, go the extra mile, or exceed our expectations. No need to come back or recommend anyone to stay here. Good thing we only paid €98. That's all it's worth. Not a penny more! They bought their 4 stars ratings and fake reviews. Go elsewhere.

This was an unexpected surprise, we had chosen this location as we had an early train the next morning and it was close to st. Lazar. The room was much bigger than I expected, the bed was great and the bathroom small but overall very nice.

BEWARE… BEWARE… save your money and the headaches of dealing with management from this hotel… My suggestions is to NOT book at this hotel and to NOT use priceline… in both cases you will be ripped off… too many better options especially through hotwire…

Nice decorated hotel, rooms are small but thats normal in Paris. It's just a bit too far from the city center, public transport is close but when you want to walk it's 20-25 minutes. We also had an issue with the parking, we made reservation with the reduction code of the hotel but had to pay a second time when we left. Because it was in a sunday, no one could help us. I hope this will be settled!

Nice and clean room, well equiped with all you need. Location is quiet but very close to metro.

To be a four star has the rooms really small and the comfort for the bathroom scarce
Breakfast too is not All the height of the number of stars.

Uncomfortable bedding (mattresses in poor condition that did not fit)
Two walls in the room were covered with dust
The room was very poorly soundproofed.
Blackout curtains are not very effective, too much light to sleep well
A fire alarm (for nothing) was triggered Sunday at 7.30 a. M.
The room service is rather fast but the presentation is very insufficient for a 4 *: No tray, a plastic cover maintained by an elastic, no salt or pepper, etc.
The Internet connection is unstable and does not necessarily work with all the devices.
Fortunately the staff is friendly and responsive.
This is not my first stay at this hotel and I even send my collaborators during their missions but I must admit that it is very disappointing compared to the times from the point of view of the quality/price ratio and standing expected for a 4 *.

Rooms a bit smaller than most 4 star hotels in the area, but are clean and fine decorated. Great location and nice service.

Second time staying here. Quiet area but close to everything. Rooms a little small in comparison to UK hotels, but comfortable and friendly. Would recommend for a single person away on business.

I stayed at this Hotel over Easter and I really enjoyed. The room was clean and very pretty. A little on the small side but here is so everywhere, so no harm. The very friendly staff with even an Italian girl who gave us great advice on local places to visit. The Hotel is also just 200 meters from the Metro station. Fantastic.

Small rooms with bathrooms where the showers connect to the rest of the bathroom with no divide. Service is uninspiring. Sometimes helpful, sometimes grumpy.
