One of the best hotels I've been to. Enjoyed the service, the staff, all at the highest level. The room is big, comfortable. It's a beautiful view.

No air conditioning! I have been checked in at the hotel for eight hours and they still can’t get the air conditioner to work. Club level, ambassador club. First technician said one hour it would be cooler. It has dropped. 5 degrees. I am am Platinum Marriott rewards but tried to go IHG this time. This is ridiculous. 27.5 degrees C is not acceptable. Little to know air.

Great central location, beautiful common areas. Received a complimentary upgrade to a superior room with an "Eiffel tower view" which is only obtainable when standing out on the balcony theoretically. Sadly this was obscured by the construction in the adjacent building. Service was great at the front desk. There is no swimming pool contrary to what it may say on certain review sites.

Amazing. 5 star. Have to say. I couldn't believe how amazing the quality in the rooms there was. Also the sraff can speak fluent English which really helped.

Five star hotel built in the Second Empire style. Large rooms, large baths, superb service. It is near Opera Garnier and some rooms have views of the opera house. Spring and summer 2018 undergoing a revovation inside and out.

Absolutely beautiful on the inside so I'm really only rating it for the amazing conference room, although kind of tricky to find on the street due to so much scaffolding around it. Also, there were too many tickets sold for cheese night, making us have to leave early since it was no longer enjoyable and practically impossible to try anything else. Probably will not return next year.

A real first class hotel even if you don't stay there, it's always great to soak up the ambiance in the lobby or take a drink in the lobby café.

Very nice establishment with a very large lounge area where everyone finds its place in a restful atmosphere. The rates are accessible but at the time of the addition you are made to understand that the House does not really appreciate the "everyone pays his drink". It is therefore better to plan for the currency and make the extra.
A behavior that is surprising and not classy at the sight of a 5 stars.

What to say if not that the place is beautiful and welcoming. If you have to make a professional meeting, that's where you have to go. Discretion and calm will be your strengths.

Incredible hotel. Probably one of the best InterContinental hotels in the world. I love the location. It's in the middle of everything that I love about Paris. Some rooms tend to be a little noisy. There are many amazing restaurants within 10 minutes of walking. The rooms are very pricy just like all Paris hotels in this category, but it's money well-spent. Staying here feels like having a time machine that allows me to travel back into history.

Very nice property of great luxury. Everything is beautiful. Well maintained. Friendly staff The rooms are absolutely beautiful. The property is well guarded and secure. One negative point… the toilets unclean when I pass. Very dirty for some. I understand that this is a frequent crossing point but a maintenance person should go through more regularly as a precaution. That being said, it must be admitted that the responsibility of the users is also engaged since they do not respect the places either.
The Café de la Paix restaurant is directly accessible from the hotel. The Louvre is a 10-minute walk away. Department stores within five minutes.
For the little story know that the concierges are very high-flying and these men and women with gold keys will be able to satisfy the least of your requests even the most wacky. Of the very high standard.

A real hotel bar as there is not enough left. Beautiful decor but not foil. The atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. A very pleasant moment.

Beautiful rooms but small. I fought about the bedside table near the bed. The toilet is bigger than the whole room. The rooms are classically styled. At the reception there are Russian-speaking managers.
Loved the shampoo and shower gel offered by the hotel.

A hotel in Paris that originally the name "Grand Hotel" and capital. The name giver of a new class of luxury was… necessarily look.

Wonderful hotel, but in renovations right now.
The reception was a little small and it was impossible to park after 6:00 in the morning.
For the rest of the very high end with a perfect team.
Try their catering service "The canopy" is a marvel!

It is really nice hotel with nice room. The service is really good, its in the middle of paris 15 minuet walking to louvre Museum, 5 minuets walking to Gallery Lafayette.

1 star less because really not accessible to all the currencies doors, same level food and drink, but it is still very nice to have a drink or work under the beautiful canopy inside the hotel.

A really nice spacious hotel for Paris. The buffet is one of the best I've had in France with a wide range from Chinese, to western to Japanese or your fruit and veg. Staff are nice and helpful and the rooms feel clean. It can be very hit or miss depending on what room you get as I once had a massive room with a big long hallway. One thing to note is that if you take something out the fridge just be moving it, it will charge you so be warned. The area feels really with security always at the front entrance with regular bag check on entrance. The water pressure in the shower is good and strong too.

A solid five. Everything is gorgeous from its location to the pleasure. The number edoff is just as posh. I recommend this hotel.

Very nicely located hotel. Only problem, the subway that makes the whole building vibrate. Very nice room, spacious, sheets changed every day. Hearty breakfast, top class restaurant with a nice menu of dishes.
Warm welcome, friendly and caring staff.
Only downside, we had to wait more than an hour and a half to get the room, late on cleaning. We were compensated with a meal offered at the restaurant.

It feels like you are living in one of Paris's historical sites, and you actually are. Beautiful interiors and one of the oldest hotels in the city, it also houses the famous Cafe de la Paix which had a great breakfast spread every morning. Rooms are also comfortable and more spacious than most.

Nice traditionally designed hotel. However rooms are very small especially given the price. The cafe and lounge are great however.

A bit expensive but the ambiance is simply stunning. Here you can sit and follow the sound of the pianist, enjoy the rain on the roof and enjoy delicious drinks. A coffee costs 9 euros and is certainly excessively exaggerated but if you are honest, it is euro for the luxury and then it was worth it again.

Toilet wash basin Toilet is blocked, bathrobe pockets are full of hair, a full bag of hair, bathrobe cuffs are also a lot of disgusting I did not sleep well, the front desk and management only said one, immediately to you change a clean, super silent.

Absolutely amazing experience. Located in the heart of paris and the opera. Walk to metro, bus, shopping and grand tours. The hotel staff will bend over backwards to make your stay extra comfortable. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious.

Awesome location, walkable to quite a few places. In room dining is great service is absolutely on time, front desk and concierge are really efficient. So full 5 stars to all of these services, I hate to reduce one star in the over all rating as the housekeep staff did not do a good job of cleaning, there was dust on our tables even after cleaning, mini bar was not replenished with consumed items, tea bags were not provided on day 3 and 4. Small but annoying things when you pay so much money to stay for a few days. Over all I would definitely recommend this place, for short stays to cover most of the city.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service that is quick to please. Incredible surroundings inside including artwork and sheet music of Opera. We were upgraded to an opera view room at check in with was very special. The lobby bar is amazing with piano each night.

Stayed here Aug 15-19 2017. Very close to everything. As an ambassador member my room was upgraded to a small junior suite with an opera view. This hotel is historic and close to everything. Staff was friendly to me but I did see others complain about rooms and costs. I will agree the rooms are a bit dated but hey it's Paris. If you want a quiet room get a room on floor 3 or higher because the subway runs under the hotel and your room will rattle from 6am until well after midnight each day. Also as an ambassador member you have to book a club lounge room or greater if you don't your wasting your time trying to get complimentary club access you will be denied. Instead they will offer it to you for 130 euros per night. All in all my family and I had a pleasant stay! My husband and I did come to the conclusion that if you travel with kids this hotel isn't the place unless you want to pay top dollar for the over priced prestige suite but if he and I are just traveling together we would stay at the LE Grand again!

Nice room and good view from the Opera room. Rather disappointed with the overall experience unfortunately. First on I was checked into absolutely stank of smoke — for a partner with asthma this was not good. The second room was already taken, after I had stood outside for several minutes trying to get in. The bellhop let me in to find someone was in there. The third room we got, after complaining was much better. It was small and didn't have an Effie tower view like we had originally expected, but had an opera view which was magnificent. The guest services did a lot to help but it took me to convince them they needed to help me after my experience to do something about it. I can't fault the lady as she was doing her job and ended up being very helpful. The concierge were polite and always willing to help but again we're not the most attentive, despite the huge tip we gave. We asked for one dinner recommendation and it was a bad experience. We asked for another evening tip and again we're hugely disappointed. Stayed with two other rooms and they had terrible experiences too. Particular one who is a Spire Royal Ambassador, their second highest tier (I believe) and had to argue/convince staff why he was having a bad experience. The hotel itself was nice, though a little outdated. Generally the staff were polite and helpful, they just couldn't quite seem to get it right, time after time. Doubt we will be staying again, despite our 600, 000+ IHG points.

Although we were only there for a wedding party, I was pleasantly surprised by the standards of not only the building but the vert helpful staff. Situated right next to the amazing opera house, I would almost dare to say that location wise its one of the best hotels in Paris. The staff were always helpful and the wedding party had a great time.

On vacation and so happy to stay here for 3 nights. Location is near perfect. Beds super comfy. Bathroom very nice and roomy. A little disappointed in our 5 star room. Too small. Could not open fridge door without rearranging table and chairs which also blocked access to window. Service friendly. Beauty all around.

As members of IHG we were excited to try out this beautiful hotel! We are happy to report we had a great experience! Rooms were quiet and spacious. Service was fantastic. Concierge were very helpful and the bar was a great place to enjoy an afternoon drink!

Place was beautiful. Too beautiful for my taste. I am glad I did this once but to be honest I wouldn't do it again. If you are looking to be in a fru fru hotel this is the place. The staff did treat is great but it seem like the other guest were judging us.

Me and my family we are offered a night in this hotel, renowned for its quality. We had a wonderful night, even if the room is not as big as we expected.
The service is excellent and the height the requested demand.
I am delighted to have had a stay here and I recommend it all the same.

Supremely disappointed and very unimpressed. Do you want to spend 500 euros and room in an old-style shoebox with no views? And then get a 24 euro surcharge for internet + 40 euro parking? A lot of the positive reviews are people rationalizing their stays here and pretending that it was worth it to stay here. Look at all the reviews that call it a tiny box. And say that they had a lovely view of the HVAC system. But then they give it four stars. Kinda generous, don't you think? We booked the day of and drove into the city (it took about 2 hours to just get into the city). I got out of the car to find valet and figure out how to park it. The guy asked me 3 times if I was staying at the hotel. I had just roadtripped across Europe and was wearing comfy pants. Sue me, I didn't look put together. It took about 15 minutes to even be spoken to about check-in and then 15 minutes thereafter to complete check-in. There was a group in front of me and the other receptionist was on the phone for a long time. My husband, meanwhile, was crouching down (stomach virus) and trying hard to not throw up. (He eventually left to the lobby bathroom to intimately get to know one of the toilets within it). Our room was not ready when we checked in at 8 pm (how? ) and would not be ready for another hour. The receptionist proceeded to go through room by room, looking for one that she could put us in.

My favorite hotel in Paris… I tried many hotels but always come back to Le Grand.

Beautiful, hospitable and extremely classic french rooms. Only advice avoid rooms facing the opera, the rooms are above the metro and if you hate noise these rooms are not for you, although the view is insane.

My friends and I are in Paris for a few days and found this hotel is super suitable for our daily. The lobby is very beautiful, suitable for everyone to play. A day to sit down and get together. If possible, for the development of a global-sized room, awesome! The room although not big, but it was special and beautiful, everything that was keeping new. The hotel restaurant is also a Breakfast spot.

One of the best hotels of this level I have ever been and the best in Paris. The service is impeccable; the staff is very attentive. A special mention to the staff.

This was a fantastic hotel. Customer service was TOP NOTCH really enjoyed the view I had of the Opera. I would most certainly come back here. Room service was very professional with the room service deliver man having me try my wine before he left, showing me the food I ordered and explaining it to me. Security was great as well, I really enjoyed staying there.

Fantastic Hotel with romantic rooms and halls.

I do not know the hotel but I tried the I — Spa and I can say that it is one of the best massages I've had in Paris. The offer included access to a 1/2 day at the spa and the fitness room, a massage (50 min) escape, and access to the private hammam. Friendly staff, clean and very professional modeling of high level. I did unfortunately have time to enjoy fitness, no the private hammam room. I better throw me the next time.

Grand, historical building in a great location. Walkable to most popular destinations. Our room was of a nice size compared to what we'd expected for a hotel room in Paris. Service was impeccable and the view into the courtyard was lovely.

Old school decor, personality, ambience. Elegant, quiet, with staff who are there when you need them, but not in your face when you don't. Rooms can be small, but you can't beat the location, which is perfect for central Paris (ask for a room in the Opera wing facing Garnier's opera building). Food and drink in the club lounge on the fifth floor are amazing all through the day. Would definitely stay again.

As for the price: it is not unreasonable. Not more expensive than the breweries of the neighborhood.

The hotel itself is well maintained and beautiful. It is located in an upscale area within Paris but not close to the best restaurants and attractions in Paris. (George IV area of Paris far superior to IC Le Grand's location. ) Last, the service at the hotel was generally bad to terrible.
