Very good hotel I recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were very spacious by European standards and the staff, concierge and service were very nice. The bartenders at the hotel bar were very friendly and welcoming and although it wasn't a lively bar it was a nice place to stop for a chat and nightcap. It's located in a lovely neighborhood as well. Side note — I was told by staff that the hotel is closing for a complete remodel soon so if you can stay now I would recommend.

Great hotel, good breakfast and quiet location.

Clean and very quite rooms. Hotel staff are pleasant to deal with and speak a English very well. Water pressure in the shower is awesome.

Hotel is charming and well appointed. Checked in this morning. I love the neighborhood and service has been impeccable. Beds are very comfortable, bathroom is huge and we loved the shower. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. I could have not asked for more for a first stay in Paris.

Not helpful, unco-operative, don’t even consider, the homeless shelter on the side of the road is a better consideration than this place.

Absolutely wonderfully helpful staff here always on hand with the usual carry but the quality of the room and downstairs reception area and bar was perfect for our group of weary travelers. Rather luscious without going over the top for inner city Paris. Having the Luxembourg Garden close by was great for some well deserved fresh air and exercise as well.

Victoria Palace Hotel in Paris is a luxurious and beautiful place to stay. The friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome and met our needs with a smile. The hotel is on a quiet side street, within walking distance of restaurants and cafes. We had a charmingly furnished spacious room, and we loved the outstanding breakfast buffet. Everything fresh and delicious with wonderful coffee and hot chocolate.

I seriously recommend that whatever room you book here, you upgrade to the junior suite. Breathtaking view of the tower, a bath you could dive in to and absolute silence… Wonderful family run hotel. Don't ever ever change guys… Salut!

We have stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel several times and will stay there again this year. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the service is impeccable and the breakfast is delicious. Victoria Palace is on a quiet street just off two major roads. It is steps away from major bus lines and from the metro.

Very chic, breakfast is lacking at the service.

This hotel is situated walking distance to shops, restaurants and the nice neighbourhoods. Rooms are big and very quiet! You can even sleep with the windows open without noise from the street. Parking is possible in the garage next door. Start your day with a extensive breakfast in their beautiful breakfast room and end the day with a drink in the bar.

A palace at the height of its five stars. 62 rooms. It is in a quiet street and is located just below the FNAC of the Rue de Rennes and all its shops. Very convenient!

The old style bathroom of sufficient size saw the time spent Indoors.
The heating works perfectly and can be adjusted according to the needs of each ONE.
Slightly off the street from Rennes allows to have a quiet room.
moreover, The rooms are soundproof enough as we do not perceive any noise from the Vicinity.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the Victoria Palace, a charmingly intimate and congenial place with an elegant small lobby and bar, and beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms. The location at the southern edge of St. Germain-des-Pres (not far from Montparnasse) is very good, though not quite as elegant as the portions of the Arrondissement to the north. Nonetheless, it is a very pleasant, not-too-long walk to a nearby excellent street market (Raspail), the very chic (expensive) Bon Marche', and some of the most expensive real estate in Paris as one heads toward the Musee' d'Orsay, while also near very active core of Montparnasse and its excellent transport hub. At the Hotwire rate, it was an exceptional value for Paris. Would not hesitate to return, or recommend it at regular rates.

This is a real fairy tale hotel of its level exactly worthy of Russian porter suitcases in the room breakfast to your room or go down the room huge wife in awe and I really had a rest in this room main feature that the walls are soundproof and in the room complete silence Supper all recommend for a holiday.

Well, I expected more from a 5 star hotel. Though the rooms were really very clean and we had a great breakfast every morning. On the 1 day our hair dryer wasn't working properly. 2 day the ceiling started licking and we changed our room to a smaller one on the first floor. The next day we didn't have warm water to shower. The hotel has no restaurant and the lobby is too small. But the location is great there are alot of good shops and restaurants around the area.

Well placed accommodation with large bedroom / sitting area, beautifully furnished, exceptional staff from front door to cleaners to breakfast severy staff. $10 taxi fare to Eiffel Tower area, $12 to Moulin Rouge but also able to walk to Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Seine River and Notre Dame.

My experience at the Victoria Palace was perfect in every way. It truly is a hidden gem of a hotel on a quit street, but close to the metro and all kinds of conveniences. I had stayed there 11 years ago with my daughter when she was 3 years a old, and again in April 2017. When we arrived at the front desk, I showed them a photo of my daughter in the room we stayed in 11 years ago which was was nicer than the standard room we had already booked for our stay. They let us stay in the same room for no additional cost. We were so excited! The staff was very friendly and easy going. We felt like we were at a home away from home. The rooms and common areas are clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was plentiful, and the wait staff was so accommodating. My daughter slept late because of the time difference, and they helped me take a tray of food to her every morning. I never write reviews about hotels or restaurants, but Victoria Palace deserves a glowing review from me! You must stay there on your next trip to Paris!

Beautiful hotel, great location, very central. Shame about air conditioning not working. Room very warm at night, opened windows only to be awakened very early by loud drilling/hammering outside. Work going on next door. Disappointed by receptionist's attitude (male), basically, tough we cannot do anything about it. Get the A/C fixed. All other staff very pleasant.

Well located hotel in the capital.
Nice room and staff very competent.
Problem however of ventilation in the bathroom where the use of the shower gives the room a very strong smell of humidity and worries of renewal of the air.
Parking is not very well indicated because it is not quite attached to the hotel and the fact of having to get out of his vehicle and go to the reception to be able to be opened the garage door is not practical especially if it rains.
Too bad for a Parisian palace to have a room service that ends at midnight.
Breakfast Buffet OK but it lacks enough to grill its bread and the juices available are not named which can be problematic in the choice if a staff member is not available.
Cleanliness of the hotel spotless.

For a 5 star hotel, I would expect much better treatment and proper balance for staff in terms of work hours. I noted that the doorman was also the concierge, and a waiter too. Despite being at low occupancy the hotel does not align itself to reality of ever changing journey, charged for a night I never spent since my flight was late and I had no way of communicating with the hotel. If you looking for a 5 star, please don't try this Victoria Palace.

We are a long way from a 5 star. … unsympathetic staff… non-existent service.

Absolutely WOW! from the welcoming and always positive and genuinely helpful front desk staff, inclusive of breakfast service and staff to the front door! Just made us and more importantly my Cristi like a "Princess" that she is! Location was perfect and view from room was excellent. Just WOW! Thank you for making this Special Experience Super! We spent three nights there in late October before heading to Provence for two weeks. We enjoyed it immensely, especially because it was such an exceptional value at the rate at which we were able to book it in the off-season. As the name implies, its design and furnishings are sumptuously Victorian. The public areas are unusually elegant. The rooms are very large for Paris, and beautifully furnished and decorated. The service is very professional yet genial. It is far south in the 6th, so that it feels more like it is in the 14th (Gare Montparnasse, whence you can easily reach anywhere in L'Ile de France, is a few blocks away). Yet, walk a few blocks north, and you are in the heart of the 6th, and one of the most elegant shopping areas (including Le Bon Marche') in Paris. Several blocks to the east are Les Jardins de Luxembourg. Montparnasse, of course, offers a vast array of dining, shopping and entertainment (e. G. Numerous cinemas), very nearby.

It is a charming french style as expected. The staff are exceptionally helpful, gives you a special feeling. They actually look after you better than any other 5 star we have stayed in. Rooms are quite big with in our case a king bed. Everything you need is available. It is well located with more restaurant choices than you could wish for. An exceptional place to stay.

Location was good, and the staff couldn't be more friendly, more helpful (and helpful)! Decoration of the room was tastefully decorated and in a quiet location. I tried the signature cocktails and The Diagonal hotel and enjoy a real meal!

This hidden gem located on a Paris side street, has all the charm and service of a hotel in a Turner Classic movie. The staff is extremely polite and on point regarding there jobs. There was only one doorman that wasn't engaging when I made several attempts to speak to him, other than that I enjoyed meeting and joking around with the employees. The only dissappointment was that the 'suite' was not the size I was expecting. (I was comparing it to United States designs) Other than that, the room was comfortable and decorated in good taste. The good- This hotel is so quiet. At times I felt as though I were the only guest in the building. I don't know if this was due to the fact that I was traveling off season or if this is normal. During check-in, we were escorted to our room by the clerk who explained all the features of the room; heating, lighting ect. While making sure our questions were answered. The only thing he forgot was how to remove the magnetic stopper from the tub which took a bit of trial and error before I figured it out. A bellhop delivers your luggage to your room. Wonderful! The bathroom was a nice comfortable size with great amenities. There are complimentary robes and slippers for use during your stay. I did not use the stocked refrigerator which of course you are charged for if used. There is a breakfast buffet that was not included in my package and would have cost 22.00. Even the housekeeping staff was nice and kept my room tidy.

This was a wonderful way to start our European holiday. The staff were welcoming, and very attentive of our young son. The room was spacious, and comfortable — even with a travel cot and pram in two corners! The bathroom was also very well sized. The location is great for walking around to experience the Parisian streets, and there are plenty of food options close by.

MAGNIFIQUE! That's how I would describe my stay at the Victoria Palace Hotel! Every member of the staff was professional, friendly and helpful with suggestions for touring during the day and dining in the evening. The beautiful new bar was enjoyable to relax and chat with other guests before dinner. The pink and green marble bathroom was delightful and the room in general very quiet. I would give the Victoria Palace Hotel 10 gold stars!

We were pleasantly surprised with our Junior Suite accommodations at the Victoria Palace Hotel in St. Germaine. I was concerned about the size of the room and having 2 single beds, so I emailed the hotel in advance to confirm. I received a prompt response, and all was just perfect once we arrived. The hotel was in a great location within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shops. The staff was pleasant and helpful with whatever we needed (directions, recommendations, reservations etc. ), and all spoke English. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in Paris.

Our room was comfortable and kept clean. The location is very convenient to transportation and shopping. And it was quiet. The breakfast was very good, varied and generous. The staff very helpful and friendly.

Very good stay: staff was perfect, junior suites were wonderful: one had two twin beds for grandma and our daughter and the other a king bed, room design was classic, room condition and halls condition was excellent and clean, two elevators were good, bathrooms were not huge but were much larger than typical in Paris (below 5 star level), bed linens perfect (pillows not hard foam), bath towels A — (felt fresh and new but were not as luxurious as a 5 Star hotel), room service perfect, bar and salon very good, breakfast excellent, location very good (not near the river, but near Bon Marche and lots of great restaurants and other stores). If this hotel was near the river, it would cost 20% more. Our 9 year old girl loved it (she has a lot of hotel experience).

Absolutely wonderful hotel! Very clean and well maintained. It's beautifully decorated and has a very traditional old-world feel to it. The only problem is the location — It's off a dark side street that can feel a little scary at night.

We spent our honeymoon in Paris and stayed at the Victoria Palace Hotel and we loved every second of it. We definitely feel like we've found our go-to Paris hotel. Situated near the Montparnasse area in Paris, the hotel offers plush accommodations, an incredibly friendly staff, classic style (read: fleur-filled wallpaper that matches the curtains) and a one-of-a-kind Parisian experience. The hotel is tucked in a quiet road just off two major streets. Nearby you'll find shops, cafes, bistros, pharmacies and the Metro.

I was in southern France and traveling to Amsterdam. I missed the last train to Amsterdam from Paris so I had to spend one night in Paris. The hotel I found was the Victoria Palace Hotel. The next morning my train for Amsterdam departed so early in the morning that I missed the hotel's breakfast. The night manager at the Victoria Palace Hotel recognized this and when I checked out he had coffee, croissants and juice waiting for me. I was very impressed and thankful.

We stayed at your lovely hotel with our twenty-something daughter and had a great experience at your hotel. Our time in Paris was extremely hot and each time we arrived back at your hotel, we were warmly greeted and were able to enjoy your excellent air conditioning!. The room was large enough for three and the bathroom was large and filled with beautiful products. Our little balcony and view gave us a reprieve from the busy city. We loved the bar area and the bartender helped us with delicious drinks as well as great sites to see in Paris. Breakfast was delicious and wonderful. Great selections each day. Thank you for a great vacation.

The accommodation was excellent and very pleasant. The toilet had a problem with its position as it had no lid and the seat had to be held up because of this, otherwise every thing was perfect.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Victoria Palace Hotel in April of 2015. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very well presented and all you could want. If you are looking for a real parisian experience this would be the Hotel to stay at. The only down fall is the street the Victoria Palace Hotel is located on. When staying in Paris I would have liked a more scenic view. All there was to see was motorcycle parking along the street.

My first trip to Paris. Lovely hotel.

This was our first visit to Paris in celebration of our 45th wedding anniversary. We chose the Victoria Palace due to its central location in the 6th arrondissement, close to the metro, within easy walking distance to Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Montparnasse, Le Bon Marché, the Seine, Musee D'Orsay and the Luxembourg Gardens, etc. Being 6 feet 4 inches tall, one of our major criteria in hotel selection was a King sized bed in a Junior Suite. Our suite was lovely, with a large bathroom, tall shower head, hair dryer, magnifying mirror, large bathsheets (so nice to find in a hotel room). Marc Jolivet, the head Concierge, was great. He set up all of our dinner reservations in advance of our arrival in Paris; booked our tours; arranged limos from and to Charles DeGaulle airport; obtained museum passes for us. He was truly a pleasure to work with. Everyone at the front desk was welcoming, helpful and made us feel at home. Each evening we would unwind at the lobby bar with David, the bartender. He was a wealth of knowledge about the city, its politics and people. We would discuss our plans for our next day in Paris and he would always give us helpful information about the particular arrondissement we would be exploring; where to find the best ice cream, olive oil — great insider information. The buffet breakfast was the highlight of each morning.

Quiet hotel, centrally located and close to the metro Saint Sulpice. Nice, pleasant and balanced in terms of room space; comfortable for living, sleeping, and working. The bathroom is comfortable to use, something not common in France. Well prepared and varied breakfast. Very helpful staff with a very correct attention always.

Our family of eight persons stayed for 8 days at the Victoria Palace Hotel and all of us were extremely pleased with our accommodations, the marvelous help from the various concierges at the desk, the location — quiet, safe for our grandchildren ages 18 to 24 to be out themselves in the evening — and close to the metro. We enjoyed the buffet breakfasts that had warm food as well as cold and were impressed with the room service twice a day. We will heartily recommend your hotel to our friends and would look forward to returning at another time. Marianne Weil and family.
