My first Paris trip was spent at this hotel for two weeks. I was so impressed with my overall experience at this hotel. All the staff through out the hotel was very friendly, helpful and always acted in a very professional manner. Most of the staff where very fluent in English which made us feel very comfortable. The rooms where extremely clean, tidy and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice selection of items to choose from. We highly recommend this hotel and will plan on staying here again when we visit this beautiful city.

Overall, an excellent experience. Boutique style hotel — lovely decor, comfortable and very clean/functional room (great shower! ). Friendly staff and delicious breakfast with room to talk with other guests. Arrived early (before check-in) — was able to store bags allowing for us to start exploring. Metro just a few short blocks from hotel — very convenient. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Very well located in the heart of the 6th! Beautiful room, beautiful spaces and staff concerned about the well-being of its guests, I recommend!

Definitely not a four star hotel.

Love the location and staff~ There are many great things about this boutique style hotel. First is the location, you can walk to Luxembourg Gardens in just a couple of minutes, it’s literally out the door to the right! There are many nice restaurants in the area, a pharmacy and a grocery store right across the street. You can easily walk to Notre Dame, the Seine River, the Louvre and great shopping if you enjoy walking the city, no need to take a cab. Secondly, wonderful staff who have no issues speaking English and will even put up with my lousy attempt at French. They are accommodating and helpful in all respects. Lastly, yes the rooms are small as are all four star hotel rooms in Paris. However, with that said I will say that these rooms are actually bigger than the typical four star hotel that I have experienced in Paris. Be sure when you make your comparisons to take a look at the square footage of the room. Just understand that Paris hotel rooms are tiny in comparison to the States!

Excellent location. Fantastic staff. Price VS room size just about right for the location, if not just a tad to the pricier side.

Advertising on the Very chic is almost misleading! A hotel or the size ridiculously small bathroom and the lack of sound insulation between the rooms disqualifies him as a 4 star! As to the view of court, this is a view on a blind wall. And if you are going to compensate for the bad night's sleep by a good breakfast, and although it is missed! Very poor in choice and in quality, he preferred the café on the corner. Only positive point is the location, ideal to visit Paris.

Hotel correct, clean, benefit of a high quality of welcome and listening to the customer, however the breakfast service is not up to the pretensions and hygiene practices in the room are to be reviewed.

Excellent location and attention.

Very good location, very good breakfast, and excellent care, a limitation is the language, only English or French. Space is limited, but it is a constant in all of France. Highly recommended.

The 3-room room with sofa bed and double bed, extra rates not included (they ask for fees for tourists to give to the state at the end of the stay), bathrooms divided into a one-square-meter closet with only toilet and one with sink and shower on the other side of the room, friendly staff… They clean the rooms but nn the balcony… I don't think I'm going to come back here in the future.

The hotel staff was very friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. However, the amenities and rooms were lacking at this hotel, even for Paris. Breakfast and coffee were paid amenities, and expensive at that. Wifi is only available in the lobby. The hotel offers guests a cell phone in the rooms that can be used to surf the internet and place phone calls, but the last thing I want is to trust my information to a third party device and to have to lug it around the city all day. The room was slightly larger than average for Paris, but the wall paper was peeling and decoration was dull. Hotel is well situated near the Jardin du Luxembourg and a couple of metro stops, however I don't see myself staying here again in the future.

Best customer service I have ever received. The staff helped me find a lost package and then mailed it back to me in the US. Cannot say nice enough things about the level of service they provided.

Quaint contemporary boutique hotel in perfect location 5 min walk from most attractions and metro stations. Rooms are beautiful if not rather compact and requesting for a room with a balcony or terrace sets you back extra euros… so does drinking a coffee of which there are no complimentary refreshments considering it's self service in the lobby. Breakfast in Paris is an expensive treat but lunch seems strangely and pleasantly affordable.

Hotel I situated in an excellent area. Short walk to many of the shops. Rooms are a little smaller than what I've seen in the U. S. But comparable to many other hotels in Paris. Staff is excellent and friendly. The continental breakfast is also a nice addition.

This hotel is in a great location, situated close to Jardin de Luxembourg. The Pantheon is also close by. It's also close to Metro stops so it's easy to travel to and from. Should you choose to walk instead of taking the underground, you can reach Notre Dame Cathedral in about 10 minutes. After a little bit of exploring, you can also find the Louvre ans the River Seine. There is a large shopping street round the corner and there are many cafes, bars and restaurants in the local area. The hotel itself is fantastic. The room was finished to a very high standard and was clean. The decoration was contemporary and stylish and the bathroom was stunning. A buffet breakfast was included in our stay and consisted of pastries, meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereal, and bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs made to a good standard, amongst other things. There is a lift that serves each floor. The staff were very attentive, polite and helpful. There was also a small bar on the ground floor, which we didn't use, but it looked well stocked and had a comfortable seating area. The interior shared parts of the hotel were stunningly decorated and well maintained. I'd definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel.
Ratio Price-performance is Wonderful.

Great stay in a central location, rooms are clean with a Juliet balcony, and helpful staff. We would certainly stay again.

A very nice and charm hotel. The employees are sympathy and careful.

Very good hotel in great location. Two most important things in a hotel are a good sleep and a good shower — Le Senat has both. I sleept very well no noises whatsoever bed was good. Very clean rooms nice decoration and very friendly staff. Location is great a lot of restaurants and very crowded at night. Only thing that could be better is the size of the room and bathroom but that's standard for Paris you have to get used to it.

This hotel offers small but beautiful rooms, a very friendly staff, a fine breakfast in a cosy downstairs breakfast room and an excellent location close to the Jardin du Luxembourg, in a quiet street next to the busy Sorbonne university.

Nice, small like all the hotels in the center of Paris, but with all the comodities. Near of all.

How can you not enjoy being at 20m from the most beautiful garden in Paris?

Positive:Great Location, Great Services, Friendly and helpful Staff, Clean Rooms, So Romantic and Charming Rooms, Free High Speed internet and they serve Awesome Croissant too :) Negative: Small Hotel with very tiny rooms.
