Stayed there during the World Cup in July, a great location in an amazing city. We stayed on the 4th floor in what I guess was the attic. No AC in summer was a disaster, and the climb up those stairs after a days site seeing was a disaster. I could pick the place to pieces but we had an amazing time. If you can afford to stay somewhere nice then stay there. If your on a budget and want to experience some old school French hospitality in an awesome area then this place is it. c'est la vie.

I have stayed here before and been very happy. This time my room was tiny and stuffy and noisy until at least 4 am. The shower doors wouldn't close and nothing was done to fix them.

Just reported by my friends who booked 7 days there : no aircond, no fan, no Tv, no Wi-Fi in the room. 2018 jully Paris — how possible? — room / day :over 100€

These guys did a great job for the most part. Although there were a few down sides overall it was pretty good. Some of the associate Sarah that ran the desk were quite rude. If you're running a hotel then you probably better figure on keeping people's luggage since they don't always go to the train station and want to enjoy the surroundings further during the day. We also tried to make a slight modification to the reservation but they were unwelding. Make sure you want to stay here because you'll get charged for it.

Great location — — walking distance to Notre Dame and other popular and less well-known places. Restaurants, bakeries, and convenience stores close by. Good, helpful staff. An old building that affords a much more authentic experience than chain hotels which cost much more. They can accommodate four guests in one room/suite. The delicious French breakfast of bread and coffee/tea/hot chocolate served in the very small lobby and entrance area. Only real negative thing about this hotel (like many similar small authentic hotels in the area) is the lack of an elevator. The 100+ steps up the narrow staircase to the top floor will be challenging for some people. I would recommend this hotel for those who can handle the stairs.

No tea or coffee in room no TV or any other things like hair dryer etc no room for breakfast they put out table and chairs in the reception area by the front door a lot of money just for a room.

Simple hotel in Latin quarter Paris. Put your staircase shoes on and don't arrive with lots of luggage. Simple breakfast included. Great location. But not charming.

Hotel well located in the Latin Quarter. Breakfast included, bread and jam with coffee or chocolate, will be taken at the reception of the hotel (little place). If you have allergies or intolerance do not have a menu suitable. The rooms are good, bathroom with hair dryer. No elevator, few of the concierges speak English. Allows you to leave the suitcase once q you do check out and you're leaving the city later. Economic.

Hotel with an excellent location for visiting the most important places of Paris. Good price for being in the area of latinos, which is The District of restaurants in Japan.

I love it! Very friendly staff, breakfast included in the price of the room which is spacious and very clean.

The only good thing about this Hotel is its location. Front desk people were nice and they speak English. But the maintenance of this place has a lot of room for improvement. The Wi-Fi is unreliable and the included breakfast is one hot drink and bread, served in a tiny hallway. This old building has very high ceilings and no elevator, you better count each floor as two to calculate how many floors you are going up the stairs. The back rooms do not get the street noise. Our room was large and the bathroom updated but again the maintenance issue was present.

Not bad for the price. Close to everything and a very short 5min walk to the metro station. Breakfast was included but it was only bread, jam and coffee. Hot water was plentiful but the shower was tiny. No worries though. Bathroom overall was decent and clean. Rooms were big enough for adults and clean. Didn't have a problem with noise. No TV or fridge in room. Just a basic room with beds and a desk. Receptionist were very nice and helpful when asking questions. Great stay overall.

Very well located, although doesn't have an elevator, the zone is very festive and noisy, also you can hear the trash pick up truck slamming the trash bins in the morning.

I loved it, great location, a treatment home, for those who wish to spend a few weeks in Paris, it is perfect. And of course for less time, although there will be no time to socialize. Very good price.

Cheap, original and nice.

The best thing is the location, unbeatable. The breakfast is bad. The cleaning must improve.

Very basic but clean and convenient.

It's a one-star hotel, but it works and is mostly clean, thus offering good value-for-money in this part of Paris, very close to Notre-Dame, Saint-Sulpice, the Boulevard St. Germain and many other attractions. Breakfast is simply coffee and bread with jam or honey (traditional French way), and there is no lift. One must sometimes wait for a breakfast seat to become available. The rear-facing rooms are quiet for central Paris. Staff are happy to use English, though of course French is better. No room service, as expected in this price band.

We stayed at this hotel on the first group trip we did to Paris and it was wonderful. It was formerly the house of a musketeer, preserving the architecture and decoration, with wooden elements, typical of the era.

We stayed there for 8 days while attending the Paris marathon in 2012 and couldn't recommend it enough. It was clean, the service was outstanding and it's right in the middle of Saint Germain. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay while in Paris. We will definitely be back!
