I already knew Hôtel Jeanne d'Arc was in a great location in The Marais, but the hotel itself exceeded all our expectations. All members of staff were extremely pleasant, attentive and happy to help in whatever way they could, including booking a local restaurant for us. We were a group of 4 friends who stayed in one of the family rooms. It was at the very top of the hotel on the 6th floor which afforded us stunning views over the rooftops and the city beyond. The room was spotless and was decorated beautifully with more space than expected in a Paris hotel. It is also a few steps from many fabulous restaurants and bars. Place Saint-Catherine is a secluded little square around the corner and we had a super supper and nightcap in Le Marché. There is no bar in the hotel itself but it is not required at all as it is in such close proximity to so many great bars. We were also lucky enough to have a perfect continental breakfast included in our deal. We literally couldn't fault one thing and will be sure to return in the future. Pro: Amazing place with super nice and helpful staff. Room was great. Bed was comfy. Staff helped me figure out where I needed to go for all my excursions and took time to point out points of interest on the map with personal tips. Breakfast was delicious. Cons: I'll preface by saying I think this is a lot of places in Paris, but there is no AC. This is normally not an issue but it was particularly hot. A note on breakfast, as an American you should know that breakfast consists of beads (amazing) with spreads, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee (also amazing).

Tucked away in the narrow streets of the Le Marais district this hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff are excellent; couldn't be more helpful and speak good English. Book a "superior" room for more space as the "comfort" rooms can be small for 2 people. No air conditioning which can be an issue when it is warm as the street can be noisy with the windows open. Continental beakfast is small but ok. I would recommend this hotel.

Very good reception nice rooms for a standard, clean nickel, just noise by people who believe themselves on the doorstep at 6:00 a. M. On a Saturday.

Located in a nice part of the Marais. Several small restaurants are just around the corner. The hotel staff is fantastic and very helpful. The staff contacted us before our stay to make sure the room was ready the way we wanted. I was impressed by their attention to detail. It is a small hotel but the rooms are decent sized and the bathroom was very good size for France. It is close to the metro so you have easy access to all of Paris. Easy walk to Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle. We loved the neighborhood and the architecture. Overall a really nice place to stay.

Nothing but great things to say about this hotel. The new contemporary decor is lovely and my room was large by European standards. Breakfast is free for a 3 night stay, and there was no extra fee to have it in the room! Lastly, the staff were kind and very helpful. It's a perfect home base to explore the Marais and the rest of Paris.

Pleasant & welcoming registration and breakfast staff. This was my third stay at this hotel. The room had been newly renovated with a contemporary décor. A generous breakfast is offered. The hotel is located on a quiet street in Le Marais; many sites, including Notre Dame, Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Center are within walking distance. The Saint-Paul Metro station is about three blocks away.

Nice Hotel and in a convenient location in the marais, not far from the metro. To report that when I came in the room had not been turned on the heater and the room was very cold (end of November), and was only switched on my report. The room had no openable windows and it was not possible to change the air. Compared to other hotel the breakfast was good and cheap.

A very dirty and expensive hotel with very small rooms. Parts of the bathroom are broken and you can not move in there.

Can not fault the staff. Rooms are nicely decorated, however there is no aircon so our room was like a sauna. We had the family room on the ground floor where the window opened onto a used laneway so no privacy or security when window was left open. Staff tried their best to provide multiple fans, however the heat combined with the loud music from the square behind the hotel forced us to check out early… thankfully the hotel provided a refund.

We stayed in a family suite (No. 2) which is on the ground floor just behind the foyer. Admittedly it was a heatwave in Paris when we stayed, but the 37 degrees outside translated to a 40 degree room with no way of cooling it down at all. The entire establishment lacks air-conditioning, and our particular room took the sun all day and sweltered like an oven all night. There is only one opening window in that suite and it's at waist height opening up to the street, meaning you can't leave it open at night due to lack of security. On that alone I would give two stars, but I have upped the rating because the staff were very nice and did do their best to apologise and make things better, plus it is a convenient location. It was so hot we actually checked out early to move to another hotel and the staff initiated a refund of the remaining nights without us having to request it.

This hotel is so lovely! We loved the location and the staff bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. It's is so convenient to shops, cafe's and the subway. We'd highly recommend it to anyone.

The staff were amazing. Really great service and recommended some excellent restaurants. Also the location it's simply perfect. Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations while we were staying. Yes, we were informed beforehand but only a week before and were not able to make other arrangements under the same budgets.

Good location. Construction in the hotel that we weren't warned about. Pricey for small room.

Service excellent, location could not be better with greater of links to all over the paris and shopping hub of Paris. It's old town with every known brand shop and hell lots of cafes and restaurants in reach by walking. Building is dated, stairs had seen its days and narrow passages and tiny lift. May be we were given the worst room, I hope that's the case as I have had good reviews all over the place but after reaching the room I was surprised to see completely different and tiny room thn what was shown in the picture of my itenary from Expedia, though not that bad size, but storage doors dated. Toilet doors never closed and had to use it without closing it. But I could see that there was refurbishment taking place and yo my feeling this would not be the case after its completed. Star or two less just because of our room and nothing else, it was best for for that price.

Great location in the beautiful district of Le Marais, nearby Metro. Great breakfast and staff very friendly and helpful, good cleanliness.
Only flaw that disappointed us, the photos on the site are relative to the only renovated superior, our superior had a very old bathroom and décor with presence behind the water cassette Antimice!

Amazing, helpful, and kind staff. They were very responsive to all our requests, and were quite prompt in responding to my emails even prior to our stay. The main lobby/reception area was under construction but the service more than made up for it. It is also in a prime location. We ran into a lady who said it was her 4th time staying with the hotel and said nothing but good things as well. We will definitely be coming back for our next stay here.

Quaint, small, but serviceable. No air conditioning, but this seems to be the norm in Paris. Friendly staff, great location, and a comfortable bed. Would stay again.

Good location and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the Wi-Fi was okay. Some spotty reception in our room on the 4th floor and it was not very fast. Breakfast was fairly cheap and good way to start the day. No need to do it every morning if you are staying multiple days as it does not vary much.

This is a nice hotel in the heart of the Marais district. There are many restaurants, bars, and places to shop nearby. Notre Dame are the Louvre are within half an hour by foot, but there is a metro 5 minutes away.

Located in Le Marais arrondissement. One of the oldest neighborhoods in Paris. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the Metro. The hotel is quaint offering rooms with beautiful views of the city.

A fantastic value in the winter. As a solo traveller, I stayed here for 7 days in January 2016. The location, atmosphere, and hospitality in the hotel were perfect. My "Superier" room was modern, clean, and beautifully-furnished. I appreciated the cozy common areas, the lounge and dining room. Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions to the airport (which can be tricky). One small bit of feedback: I would have liked to see a bit more offered with the breakfast, as I felt quite spoiled at the Hotel de l'Opera in Bordeaux: cream cheese added to the jams; juice added to the beverages; yogurt and fresh fruit added as well. That said, the staff were always gracious when I asked for boiled water, and were kind enough to let me eat self-catered dinner with wine in their dining room. Loved staying here. They were so friendly and helpful and a great location. Our room was spacious and clean.

A charming little hotel in the Marais with very friendly and helpful staff. Just watch out for the bottom step on the staircase — — I broke my foot when I missed my footing! But I would most definitely stay there again!

I love this hotel… Love the location, convenience and the wonderful breakfast area that turns into an international cafe in the evening with the guests sharing their stories, their meals and their adventures in Paris. I stayed in a very comfortable single room in June of 2014 and will be returning in September of 2015. I think of it as my home away from home in Paris.

Friendly and Helpful Front Desk. Clean and recently nicely refurbished rooms. Good reasonably priced continental breakfast.

We were in this hotel in June and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff at all times was very kind to us, for me is the best of the hotel together with the location.
The hotel has recently been renovated and it shows since it has an elevator while other hotels of the same category and price area do not have it.
Our room was OK, the careful decoration. As negative factors, it would put the bathroom which although functional is very small and the absence of heating and/or air conditioning. We only saw a portable radiator whereupon in times very cold/warm/cold will perhaps happen in rooms.
As for the view from the room they were not very attractive because they gave to a narrow street with a little perspective.
