We went to The Hemingway bar, it was nice and cozy. Food was good and my cocktail 🍹 was delicious:) but they took so long to serve usfood. I would defo comeback again.

The Hemingway Bar is always a good start for drinks. The staff are nice but distant until you prove your worth. Once a connection is established your in!

You can’t beat the Ritz in their highest quality of accommodations, service, food and the ambience. They have the best location at the Vendome which is close to everything Paris has to offer.

What a disappointment… Serving frozen fries is a shame! An affront to our French gastronomy, shame on the Chef de rank who is justified by a "demand" of the American clientele… 88 mac Cain beef fillet and fries, is an insult to his clientele of which I am a member.

Refined and so chic. A brunch served with fresh produce in a setting that makes it easy to keep a secret. An efficient, classy service that is so rare that I'd like to say it's "extraordinarily discreet. " We don't interrupt you, we simply wait for you to go to the buffet or wave to come to your cleared table. A sweet bower of worry we'd spend the day sewing at the table.

Absolutely gorgeous lavish hotel. It feels you just stepped to a fairytale and walking through history. Stunning architecture and great ambiance. Coco Chanel lived there over 30 years. It was and will be frequented by many kings, queens, princesses and celebrities. Many movies are filmed there. Truly iconic and historic. It’s place to see and be seen. Service is outstanding. The nicest, kindest staff l ever experienced in any hotel. Place fit for King where everyone enjoys Royal treatment. Magnificent, fascinating. Devine. Spectacular piece of Heaven on Earth. Hemingway bar is very special place to enjoy champagne or cocktails to reminisce old times when he was enjoying his drinks there and writing some of his famous books. Staying in Ritz is the ultimate treat. Luxury at its best at the most beautiful city of L❤️VE.

We were at the Ritz for a few days late last year.
Unfortunately, my brought ball gowns were too big and sweeping for the wardrobes of the room.
We were upgraded to a beautiful attic suite.
Not 5 minutes later, the doorbell rang and they brought us champagne, chocolates, strawberries and a cake. Wow!
In addition, I got a treatment at the Chanel Spa.
By the way, the renovation of the house was so perfect that you did not destroy the old spirit. This is very rarely the case with modernizations. All in all a memorable stay And I'm looking forward to the next visit.

What an Amazing Hotel! We stayed here on vacation and had an awesome experience! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Paris it’s just absolutely beautiful and a lovely experience. Staff is amazing friendly and so accommodating! I would give it six stars if I could. Our room was absolutely amazing it was an excellent experience.

The worst experience ever. I participated in Ritz’s Escoffier cooking program on 6/22, from 9:00 to 13:00. The expectations for this program were high, since Ritz was such a high-class hotel. However, the experience was unexpectedly terrible. I normally don’t accuse anyone as a “RACIST” person, but I have no decision but to say that the staff members here who took part in this program were RACIST. I was the only Asian participant during this program. I was assigned to a group of 3 people, including 2 other Caucasian women. First of all, the assistant translator of our group only speaks to the other two people, she never looked into my eyes, and when I ask her any questions about the class, she only responses “you should wait”, but speaks happily to the other 2 participants. This doesn’t feel very comfortable at all. Second, she doesn’t prepare the cooking tools for me. While everyone else has the same, well-prepared cooking tools, only I have “to wait” and not getting the same tools that I should be getting from the very start. Moreover, the chef always takes my plates instead of anybody else’s for tutoring use without any of my permission. In the end, while we were supposed to taste our own meal, everyone got a cup of coffee prepared by the assistance, except of me. Again. Overall, this is a surprisingly bad experience. I never expected this situation based on Ritz Hotel’s well reputation.

The Ritz Paris is arguably the best-known hotel in Paris, thanks to its over-the-top décor and famous guests. Marcel Proust and Coco Chanel both lived here, and Gary Cooper and Audrey Hepburn filmed scenes for Love in the Afternoon at the Ritz. Ernest Hemingway famously declared the hotel bar liberated from the Nazis at the end of WWII, and today the Bar Hemingway is named in his honor. As Hemingway once wrote, “When I dream of afterlife in heaven, the action always takes place in the Paris Ritz. ” The hotel is currently closed for renovations until early 2015. Insider Tip: The Ritz Paris has made cameo appearances in many novels, including Ian Fleming’s From Russia With Love in the James Bond series; F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Tender is the Night, and Ernest Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises.

The hotel itself is great. My dinner however, was not. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they were easily the best part of the meal. The Foie Gras (without the accoutrements) were good, easily the most creamy, clean flavored I've ever had. The sweet breads also good. Everything between, starting with the duck was just not impressive. My company enjoy some of theirs (heavy seafood choices) but not all. Overall, the experience was not memorable, and quite lackluster. I did expect more, unfortunately.

Magic. Reception, quality of products, cosy ambience, dimmed lights, superb decoration, impeccable toilets… A customer is a customer, even if you do not sweat the money you have the right to a professional and irreproachable reception. €13 an exceptional quality chocolate, in this luxurious setting or a homemade cocktail to fall to the ground at €30… Frankly I encourage everyone to do this kind of fun once in a lifetime… or more. It comes out amazed and enchanted.

We were at the Ritz bar on March 2 in the evening and loved it. This is a place I highly recommend. We were well received by a very professional, welcoming and friendly staff… We felt comfortable. Thanks to all the team that made our evening exceptional, we will return.

The RITZ what a nice experience, this hotel has a charm a particular cachet. The renovation is very beautiful, our room was of perfect cleanliness, an exemplary finish, attentions of service; Fresh Fruit Cupcakes, don't forget your bathing suit otherwise run to buy one. Enjoy this majestic 31-degree swimming pool, hamam sauna and kindness on every floor, I hope to reiterate this as soon as possible.

The garden is very nice and I love the bar Hemingway. On the other hand, training their staff in the principles of customer reception and politeness would not be luxury.

The hotel Ritz in Paris is as you would expect vibrant and lavish with all the grandeur that the Name brings. You can have lunch dinner and tea there even if you are nice not a guest. It’s worth trying out the Tea time menu as there are lots of nice treats to be had. You can also just go in for a drink and relax at one of the 3 bars and soak up the atmosphere and take in the splendid decor.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris the delicacy and the ultimate luxury, you can just have a coffee or a hot chocolate in the afternoon to enter this magical place!

Palace known and recognized. In one of the most popular places in the capital. First-rate Service. Very high quality of service. Sometimes a little too staid for my taste. Sometimes tend to judge on the appearance… which is a coarse mistake. Extraordinary Restaurant. Price accordingly.

The service staff is quite professional, courteous and gentlemanly. Interior decoration style brilliant, even the bathroom faucet is gold you dare to believe?

The Ritz was already a fabulous place before the renovation, but now it's perfect.
It is a modern hotel, inserted in the historical container, restored to perfection.
The service is perfect from the Welcome to the airport (baggage and driver withdrawal), the arrival at the hotel, the check in and the accompanying room.
Superb room, elegant and full of comfort (sibaritic minibar, televisions everywhere, quiet air conditioning, incredible bathroom for size and luxury, breathtaking views over Paris).
The indoor pool is always gorgeous and it is amazing to bathe thinking of being under Place Vendome.
The Espadon breakfast is spectacular, also thanks to the beauty of the salon. Also the Hemingway Bar is always pleasant.

Make it a point to drink at one of the Ritz’s cocktail bars before heading for dinner. The French food apart, the highlight is the fresh baked bread the bring out straight from the oven. The best bread in the world hands down!

Excellent service. I had afternoon tea at Bar Vendôme which came in a three tiered tower. The sandwich was delicious but the scones was just ok. The hot chocolate was really rich and delicious and came with a selection of toppings. The dessert was the difficulty part as we get to choose only one among the sumptuous selection. It would be ideal if they made all these desserts tiny and served them on the three tiered cake stand Tower.

Attentive and helpful service at Bar Vendome (main bar). Nice conversations with guests from all over the world. Bar Hemingway is a fun experience but don't expect the same level of service. Beautiful lights around Christmas and New Year's. It's not cheap.

Excellent tea. Ambitious choice of proposing a French afternoon tea : does it stand the competition with the famous one? If you're not in sweet and dry biscuits, it won't but it's an interesting proposition worth a try. I personally don't like these posh and bourgeois environments, but I have to admit a certain taste (if you like golden robinets mounted on winged swans).

I discovered the Ritz for an event, I didn't get a chance to stay there. It is a prestigious and timeless place, a real feast for the eyes.

What can you say, it's one of the best of the best. I use here stock pictures because my camera doesn't do it justice, but this is the real deal. French luxury at it's finest. On par with London Ritz — fantastic.

Went to the Hemingway bar. Just amazing. Drinks are pricey but they will be the best cocktails you ever had, guaranteed. Get dressed up. Eat the warm almonds and fresh potato chips. And relax. Amazing.

Spectacular Hotel… to visit even for a te.

I love this place. The atmosphere is brilliant (outdoor terrace), the staff are exceptionally polite, helpful and attentive. The drinks and cigars are sublime. The only thing that puts me off going here are the prices. Understandably places like this charge high prices for a reason, but I feel as if they're a little too high. €350-€400 for three cigars and 6 drinks is steep. A gin and tonic is about €30 and the average cocktail more, not to mention the service charge. Now they're good, but I can get a G&T of the same quality in a great hotel bar in London for about half the price (maybe slightly more). The setting though, is what sets this place part, we went back twice just to enjoy the terrace… it's cool, quiet and calming, great for a relaxing evening with family and friends. The staff ensure that your experience is well managed from the moment you step in the door to the moment you walk out. I'd do 4.85 if I could, but can't do 5… the prices just get me that little bit too much.

We didn't stay at this Hotel (it's really expensive) but we visited the Hemingway bar. It was pouring with rain when we came out and the doormen got us all umbrellas and couldn't be nicer. Great service with real class. (I took the umbrellas back later)

The Ritz is a very nice place to spend time. The suites are chic and refined. You can also dine or have a drink with friends. Everything is perfect.

We certainly couldn't afford to stay at the hotel, but we spent an extremely enjoyable evening at Bar Hemingway, which we highly recommend. Drinks are expensive, but you're paying for a lot: ambiance, decor, history, and extremely limited space. It's very small, and you are only admitted if there's seating space–no standing room. It makes it feel exclusive and intimate, even though anyone can get in if you're willing to wait a bit. Also: sounds weird, but this place has the nicest paper napkins I've ever encountered. The level of quality is something it never occurred to me a paper napkin would bother possessing.

If you want to pretend to be bohemian while showing off your €4, 000 handbag, this is the place. The cocktails here range from €30 to €1, 500+, and the quality of the service is on par with the prices, for sure. However, I wasn't seeking a stuffy, pretentious exhibition of wealth by Americans on holiday in Paris. The fact that it's the Ritz should have clued me in. I regularly go to the one in New Orleans though, and it's considerably more chill. If you're actually looking to commune with the sprit of a late artist, find another spot.

The location of the hotel is amazing. Hair is in the center of Paris, close to many known points. The quality of the accommodations is super.

The Ritz in which the bar was located in is one of the most beautiful hotels I have set foot in. Being a big fan of Hemingway I had to visit the bar bearing his name. The bar itself is very cozy with tables close together (easily overhear other patrons conversation) and its well decorated. Like many other reviewers say its like stepping through time. I knew about the €30/drink before setting foot in so the costs didn't shock me. The drink was good but not exceptional. On the day I visited patrons were being put on wait-list after 9pm as the place was full. If this place is on your list of 'to-do' in Paris then come visit, but if you are just looking for a good place to drink there are probably alternatives.

The bar Hemingway is great. The newly renovated hotel is tacky and pretentious.

The restaurant that is there more delicious, piano, elegant, impeccable service, delicious food!
