My wife and I and three children stayed at The Hotel Balmoral in the summer of 2018. We all
Thought the hotel was fabulous. It is located a short walk from the Arc de Triomph so the
Location is ideal for tourists. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
I was most impressed by the friendliness and service of the staff. When we checked out,
Our taxi parked about a half block from the hotel and the Manager insisted on personally
Rolling my bag to the taxi. I was really touched by the kindness of the staff at the hotel and
I am happy to recommend the hotel.

The hotel is a five minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe. The whole staff is very welcoming, the rooms are on the small side but with a king size bed, can’t ask for more… Will definitely return.

Stayed here 3 nights, beds were definitely comfortable for a good nights rest. Hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. Hotel is located near many good restaurants to choose from.

An amazing hotel with amazing stuff and communicating rooms for big families! You can walk easily at night to Champs Elysées since it’s one minute from the main road!

Great Parisian hotel. Location is superb. Rooms are not huge, but standard for Paris. The service here was lovely and staff spoke excellent English. They really want you to enjoy your stay. The hotel also offers great phones with maps etc to take around. Bed comfortable.

Clean hotel, friendly and caring staff. Rooms in the norm, well furnished, quite functional, there is everything you need. Clean, comfortable beds and you also have espresso in the room. The hotel's smartphone service is excellent. In the room, you will find a smartphone with an application that allows you to find what you need, during your stay in Paris, you can make calls, even international (personally I made calls only domestic) and you can use it as a navigator for move where you need it. Metro map included. Breakfast is sublime. Find everything from sweet to salty, you can really fill up with energy before facing the tourist day. I thank all the staff for the care and attention, above all, towards my girls. Thank you… Thank you very much.

A small and pleasant hotel 2 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe. This hidden hotel is very well located as you have the main bus links to and from the airport almost at the very door of the hotel.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious, modern and with lots of details. The bathroom is very full and has a great shower. The temperature was very nice and the floor is carpeted (a bit problematic if it rains). At the reception they were very friendly and even on the day of leaving, they stayed with our suitcases after checkout at no cost.
In the main hall you find the breakfast room, which during the day is free access in case guests want to have a tea or coffee. Breakfast is plentiful and varied.
Overall our stay was very good and nice. We hope to repeat soon.

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Balmoral. The location is perfect; few hundred yards away from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, with a metro station within a 5 minute walk. The staff is so friendly, accommodating, and spoke English. The rooms are small but beautiful and quiet. They have a great breakfast selection, but could do with more vegetarian options. We will be staying here on our future trips to Paris!

The Balmoral pitches itself as a centrally located, tiny boutique hotel. And all the adjectives in the previous sentence are correct. The rooms are tiny. But I'm not complaining because, I guess most city hotels in Europe have small rooms. It's a boutique hotel. Don't go off expecting amenities like gyms, pools, etc. You get to use there umbrella and their cycles. But I guess that's about it. Again, this is not a complaint but just my report of what to expect. If you are on the Champs de Elysees, you are here to take in the Parisian sights, not laze around in a pool. Location. Location. Location. The hotel is situated in a quite back lane. The Balmoral is just a minute away from the Charles De Gaul Etiole subway station. Add another minute or two to reach the Arc De Triumph and the beautiful shopping street of the Champs De Elysees. The rooms. The rooms are cramed with every amenity available. Soft beds you can sink into, a mini bar, Wi-Fi, Tv, and hot water jug, luxurious bathrooms, they have it all. Again, don't go expecting majestic views and you won't be disappointed. The staff: The front desk were extremely polite and helpful. They patiently answered all my questions even though I don't speak a word of French. Special thanks to a lady called Claire (did I get that name right…) who walked me through the metro map. The cons: The hotel did get a few demerits from me. The breakfast selection, included in the tasted has absolutely no vegetarian options.

After arriving to Paris completely exhausted from a delayed flight, discovering Hotel Balmoral completely turned my day around. It's a personification of Parisian elegance: from the typical Haussmann facade to the interior design featuring works of art and little details carefully designed with your comfort in mind. Behind door 55 I discovered a spacious suite bigger than my Manhattan apartment. The living space is perfect for lounging with plenty of sitting areas, flat screen TV, mini bar and Nespresso machine. The bathroom featured two sinks and a bathtub, and the room a nice walk-in closet. What impressed me the most was the bed: King size, luxury soft linen, comfy mattress and a mountain of fluffy pillows that made me feel like I was sleeping on clouds. The breakfast is delicious. An assortment of French pastries, meat cuts and cheeses, jams, eggs, sausage, crepes, fresh fruit, yogurt… you name it! The best thing is you can have it delivered to your room until 11:30 at no extra charge and enjoy a nice view from your charming balcony. When you're all set for a day of exploring, the location is just perfect, close to the Arc de Triomphe, leading the way into the famous Champs Elysées, a mere 100m away. The Eiffel Tower is a pleasant 30 min stroll down south, or even less if you take advantage of the free bikes.

A lovely hotel, small room but clean and smart. A great base from which to explore. We didnt eat in the hotel but breakfast would have been 18 euros each if we had wanted it. Lovely staff and would definately go back. Very close to metro and places to eat.

Well the truth is that in general the hotel very well. It's very central. 3 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe. Also, if you come from Orly Airport and take the bus from AirFrance (you can catch anyone, even if you have come in another airline) the last stop is at the corner of the Hotel Street. 2 and a half minutes counting the time you take to take the phone and look at Google Maps. The reception was very nice. Also the bellboys raised our suitcases and explained the room to us. Comfortable rooms. Washbasin and ample shower. Courtesy Slippers and safe. Comfortable bed Although for us something soft. And if I had to put a but quite important would be the annoying noise that can cause a person to walk in the room above. The noises of footsteps and falling objects are very much heard. At 12 noon nothing happens (although at that time you should be visiting the city, Jejeje) but at 2 in the morning annoying and unveils. The rest of things very correct.
And another but not that we just liked is that depends on what turn you touch, the reception can treat you in a very different way. One of those moments we feel we molestábamos to ask for the key (they force you to leave it at the counter when you go). But it was only on one occasion. Speaking English, you don't have a problem. And if you are lucky and the day you arrive or you go you get the Spanish speaking receptionist makes it easy to checkin or checkout.

Spent three nights at this lovely hotel. Excellent staff that were warm and welcoming after what was am unexpectedly long journey. Any requests were met promptly and with a smile. I would recommend opting for the breakfast as it was a fresh welcome start to the morning with plenty of options. The location is amazing, the arc de triomph is just around the corner less, than a few minutes away and the closest metro station has direct lines to the tourist attractions and is one change to the airport. Was very sad to leave.

On Tuesday 26 I had a very sad and very unpleasant experience at the Balmoral hotel in Paris (6 Rue du Général Lanrezac, 75017 Paris).
Forget my TAG Heuer watch with a value of 1600 €, in suite 55 of the hotel. When I arrived at the airport I realized that I had left it in the room. My partner called and then I have been sending emails … But in the last email I have been told we are sorry the clock is not in the room.
It was the fifth time we were staying at the Hotel Balmoral, a small hotel with a lot of charm as I like it. The staff very friendly and the last two times they gave us a suite for the same price as the room we had. Everything super well … But a loss of an object in a room is something very serious. This can not happen in a hotel. And of course I will never return to this Hotel.

Hotel very attentive to customers. The rooms are very small but very clean and comfortable. Staff from 10 and praise copious coffee abundant excellent.

Very lovely little hotel that is well located in close proximity to the best parts of Paris. Everything about the hotel is small, but very cozy.

Great friendly staff clean room, convenient location for tourists.

Beautiful place and not as small compared to other hotel rooms in Paris, but somehow we found flies in the room more than once as well as other tiny insects. Also if you're not out of your room by 10:30 am they continuously call to ask when the housekeepers can clean. I thought a Do not disturb sign meant do not disturb. But maybe not in this hotel. This happened each day. Also they lock the lobby doors at night, so make sure to ring the bell on the left or you'll be screened by the person in the lobby. Close to Champs and the Arc.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Hotel Balmoral. It's a lovely, well presented hotel with fantastic, friendly staff. We're looking forward to returning soon!

Beautiful hotel. Small, but clean and perfectly decorated rooms. The staff are very friendly and speak English very well. We got an upgraded room overlooking the quiet street outside that had a large bathroom with a big bath and powerful rain shower above. Only a few minutes walk from the arc de triomphe and 30 seconds from the metro station. I wouldn't hesitate to return here again. 5 stars.

We had a wonderful three night stay here. All staff especially the front of house staff were very friendly & helpful. We initially booked through Secret Escapes website for a prestige room and were upgraded on arrival to a Suite room. For Paris their rooms are a good size and very clean. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi which was a good speed, the buffet breakfast had everything for everyone. There were crêpes, crossiants, pastries, bread, yogurt, fruit, cheese & ham plus hot foods such as eggs, boiled or scrambled, sausages & bacon. There is also free complimentary tea & coffee during the day, to take a seat and relax after a days walking. The lounge area offers beer, wine and champagne for a price too. Although we didn't get to appreciate because of the cold weather, there is a small courtyard area to sit outside and enjoy. The bed was very comfortably to sleep on, room was lovely and warm considering the time of year. The area around the hotel is very quiet and safe with plenty of restaurant's and bistro's for all tastes and occasions near by. We personally loved 'The Hive'. The location is perfect, 100 metres from Arc De Triompe and airport shuttle bus, named Le Bus Direct. The metro is located 50 metres away and takes you to all the main attractions within minutes. Overall, this is by far my best hotel stay in Paris. It made for such a pleasant stay in a beautiful city.

Extraordinary location.

The staff are friendly, nice, and supportive. The space of the rooms are great, enough to put your luggage's and sit happily. The location is close to the train approximately 3 minutes walking. An advise for the future: I would like the reception to give travel guide of Paris to newcomers and residency of France even if they are familiar with Paris activities.
