Excellent location, staff super friendly and helpful, breakfast plentiful and complete, the rooms very chic, all very very clean. Super recommended.

My wife and I made the right decision in staying at the Grand Hotel Amelot in Paris, France from 10-12 July 2018. David and all the employees went the extra miles to make up feels like home. Thanks to all for the hospitality with us and all the guests during our stay. The Hotel location is perfect… there is public transportation to every location two blocks away from the hotel. I recommend everyone to stay at the Grand Hotel Amelot in Paris, France.

Nice hotel, great employees and it can be cheap if you book with enough time. They have a really nice breakfast and cheap. I enjoyed it.

The receptionist was very helpful, especially when I attempted to try out my French language skills. The hotel was clean and handily located. The breakfast was plentiful and consisted of the traditional continental fare: baguettes, choocolatines, apple pastries and croissants plus jams, honey, Nutella and butter. There is also a lift, which was useful because we were on one of the upper floors. My only beef was the noise — The area is rather built up and there are a myriad of nearby bars and restaurants which close at 1am or 2am, cue noise and banging of doors.

Clean room, large bathroom. The breakfast room has a bit of a 70's hostel feel, so we opted for breakfast in cafés nearby.

Horrible and Worst! CUSTOMER SERVICE! Specially your DIRECTOR! Very Rude! Lucky I don't live in there or else I wont have a second thought of filing Abuse to your Director.

Near several metro lines, even though my reference was Bastille because it was on the main artery, It didn't excite me. Externally it is a beautiful property, on the quiet and anonymous rue Amelot. Bathroom of the first room (before we were transferred) with flooding problems and high price without taking advantage of breakfast, discreet cleaning and available staff, but still not to return there.

Good location, close to restaurants shops and metro station. No parking at hotel! You need to use one advise with 25 euro per day around 15 min walk from hotel. Not a best solution. Hotel is old and need some refurbishment. Specially older rooms with weird color on walls. We ordered superior room but it has nothing to do with name. What is important very very uncomfortable beds and pretty loud on street in night so you will not get much sleep. We book via booking with pretty good price but if I would have to pay full price I would be very disappointed. One gentleman on reception very nice but other useless no speaking English almost at all hard to communicate giving wrong information.

Cute little place, really enjoyed our stay. Staff were really friendly and happy to help with what ever they could to make sure we were happy with our stay. Price was good and a great location. Would definitely go back again :)

Charming staff, room ok but mostly quiet, only downside is the breakfast : pastries and bread is very good but no option to have eggs, cheese or meats… just jam chocolate.

Very nice hotel and good location. The room was redone recently. The staff are nice and attentive to your comments. Anticipate the breakfast as it is not a buffet and so little you take more time than expected.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in Europe. SPOILT yogurt, rotten orange juice over cooked crossaint and that’s all. Have a great stay there. I would rate 0 stars but their staffs r friendly so 1 star for that.

This hotel have an arrangement with mafia cabs, never request a taxi in the hotel, the taxi driver want eu40 per person to go to the airport, and duplicate the price in a ride to the hospital eu14 instead of eu7, I dont recomend this hotel to nobody.

Nice hotel without any luxury. Staff is polite and it has great breakfast, though not included in the price. Near number 8 subway station, it is very conveniently located. Around the hotel there are very luxurious bars and restaurants. Across the street, the best bar — full of American expats. You need a "sport chic" attire for most bars in the area. There is also a deli half a block from the hotel if you need something late at night (before 1AM). Trust me it is a very good place to stay.

Rooms are clean and the hotel looks nice. Service is good so far.

The hotel was cozy, but extremely no frills which is why I'm rating it only 3 stars. They provide no extras other than liquid soap from a dispenser in both the shower and at the sink, so be sure to come prepared with your own toiletries. Don't waste money on the breakfast here as there's restaurants nearby which you can get better value for your money. A block away is a bakery called Maison Plisson which has amazing pastries and baguettes, and the best fresh squeezed orange juice ever. If you're trying to be cost effective, grab a baguette from Maison Plisson, some butter and cheese, and you're good to go. There's a grocery store a block away called Proxie which you can grab drinks and snacks from and a great restaurant across the street which has a 3 course pre-fixe for about 45 euros.

If you're looking for a friendly front desk staff, this is not the place for you. But saying that, the room was good and the price was right and the location (steps from the Marais) was ideal.

Excellent hotel with great customer service (yasin) from the reception especially very very helpful guy. I would recommend any one to stay here and experice this hotel with lovely staff.

Rooms were clean and well kept. Located in a quite area surrounded by many placed to eat as well as several metro station within walking distance. The staff, however, didn't come across very welcoming. Our last night they also gave another couple a key to our room and thus we were abruptly woken up in the middle of the night due to this mixup. (this was the main reason for such a negative review) There was also no walk-in closet in our room and no way to control the air-conditioning. A few more things that are not necessarily negative: the beds are hard and not too long (~1, 90 or 6ft) the shower head is also quite low. Thereby would not recommend if you are a very tall person.

We had to fight for a decent room. Otherwise, it was good, staff very kind and good breakfast. It was a friendly hotel located near the Bastille square… Soon maybe!
