The room was pretty, very clean and the bathroom nice ly large. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Super!

Hotel that deserves to stop so. Ideal establishment during heatwave as was our case thanks to all these facilities, excellent pool, air conditioning in the room. A lunch where everyone can find their happiness. Even our little dog enjoyed this place. We recommend this property.

A nice little hotel, not far from the city centre with a small immaculate pool, which is very nice after a long trip and in the heat of this summer!
In the rooms there is everything you need, even a nail file! We will be back with pleasure.

The cleanliness under the bed is really to be reviewed. It was dirty. It's missing a bathing suit rental. As for our departure, we didn't know there were 2 receptions. Which wasted us time.
The air conditioning was perfect. The environment of the site is pretty. The place is quiet and nice. The pool is perfectly placed. A slight downside to the stairs. Less obvious to go up if we have big suitcases.

Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. A real gem xx.

One of the best logis hotels.

We find your hotel very convenient when we are travelling back to the UK from South of France. You may have noticed we removed the mattress protectors from our beds. We find in the warm weather these are very uncomfortable as having a plastic coating they seem to increase the heat and make the bed uncomfortably hot. We were also unable to get wi fi in our room, possibly too far away from main reception. This will not deter us from staying in your hotel again.

Friendly and good location.

I chose this hotel for the parking. The room itself was ok and the staff were good. It would be 3stars, but it is quite a long walk (45mins) from the centre. The room I was in had a wet room rather than a full bathroom, which again knocks the rating down when compared to other hotels.

Great reception, there is everything you need for a stay, a choice of restaurant working with the hotel it just misses the eggs to the dishes at breakfast.

A nice address a couple of very friendly bosses I often go back … Breakfast is plentiful of choice. A nice pool in summer of beautiful rooms.

Small Hotel by its size, its number of rooms, but large hotel by its reception, its staff jovial and friendly, as well as its geographical location. We were unable to test the pool, because of the snow (and winter), but it really gave envy. We did not test the Hammam on site, but in the structure at 10 minutes (taking our time) on foot. Ideally located, the hotel is only 15 minutes from the shops and restaurants of the city centre, 20 minutes from the cathedral, ideal for travelers and tourists of all nationalities (we have met British and Germans), and for Parisians in Escape Quest not far from home (120km de Paris). We tested the winter, we will definitely test the summer and the pool!

I sleep regularly in this hotel, the very professional reception, the rooms are very clean and well appointed and the breakfast very copious, all for a reasonable price.

Already several passages in this hotel! The rooms are small but comfortable. Well equipped shower room. Hard parking! And no catering… for the evenings stage the hotel offers a choice of restaurants nearby (15 MNS on foot maxi).

This Hotel is very well maintained, I would say everything refurbished the rooms are very well equipped with bedding at the top.
The reception is friendly the manager of this establishment and not seeing, but of a surprising autonomy.
The hotel is equipped with its SPA area, and other options for well-being stages evenings, as well as families will find their happiness.
I recommend this property for its comfort its kindness, and for its value for money.

Value for money correct. Nice room. The staff are friendly. However the restaurants of the spiral steps are not in the hotel 10 a 15 min walk depending on the restaurant chosen.

We stayed here in September 2014. The staff are mostly family and are very helpful. It is not on a main street and is nice and quiet. The pool was very inviting and very clean. We enjoyed our breakfast in the dining room which was across the road from the accommodation. We were four gentlemen in our 60's doing a 3 week tour off the Battlefields and this was the perfect place for a little R and R (Rest and Recuperation). I highly recommend this hotel.

It's a very nice family hotel and the brakefast is very good (not traditionally frensh). Quite area and walking distance to the center.
The pool is a extra plus.

Basic small room, clean, reasonable bathroom, has air conditioning. Feels more like a 2 chimney logis than the 3 chimneys it is rated on the logis website.

Not a brilliant experience. Had more of a US motel feel than a european hotel. Small complex made up of 2 buildings on either side of a residential street. Shoebox sized rooms with fairly feeble aircon. 20mins walk to the centre of town for anything resembling life. Secure parking is extra, as are pets.

Nice Service and small but very clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We had an excellent stay. The room was tidy, there was some available parking spots on the street, you can even ask for a private one. City center is a 20 min walk, less than 15 for the train station. Our host even booked champagne tasting tour for us. Breakfast is good, feeling with a good variety of dishes (fresh pastries, scrambled egg, bacon, boiled egg, fresh wafles, cereals, yogurth etc. I recommend it.

Correct correct personal very quiet city in about 20 min walk… Restaurants open from 19:00…

Well located hotel. Very quiet location.
The benefits are there even though the rooms are small and a little "kitsch".
The bedding should be renewed.
Everything is very clean and friendly staff.
Buffet breakfasts are very well provided, salt, sugar.
Little more for the service of breakfast… We're friendly!

Close to the city centre and the train station, the hotel is quiet in downtown Reims clairmarais. Nice with swimming pool for those who want to.

Staff very helpful in guiding us to the hotel, which was much further away from the centre of Reims than we had been led to believe by the website. The secure garage (7 euros extra) was a boon, as we had a fully laden estate car. The bedroom and bathroom facilities were fine for a one night stay, even though we were on the top floor with attic-type windows. Everything very clean. It was a quiet night and we slept well. The buffet breakfast was ample and fresh (though a wider range of fresh fruit would have been welcome). Again, the staff were helpful and checkout was swift and straightforward. All in all, good value. We found our way to the magnificent Cathedral for an early morning visit without difficulty.

Noisy Customers coming at 3.00 am. Baby crying from 6.00 am. Hotel Manager did not do anything to stop the noise. I had a very bad night!

Nice hotel, ver friendl and helpful staff, but the breakfast is way to expensive at 10€.

Very well received and well looked after during our stay, we not only enjoyed the room, his very large shower and balcony overlooking the pool but also loved power we swim and enjoy the Sun with calm and pleasure.

Small hotel with very friendly neighborhood.
The room (2 separate beds) was very good for a few days (a little bit for more long).
As two friends came by motorcycle, we enjoyed the closed parking area for Park machines at night.
The breakfast was excellent (especially on the terrace).
The pool and the a/c in the room were a very big plus, especially when the mercury is around 40 degrees.
In addition, the hotel is 15 minute walk from downtown so spotless.

As with the majority of Logis Hotel, It was satisfactory with a known quality and well run. The only thing that was not available was a restaurant for an evening meal. If we ever travel to Reims again Hotel Au Tambour will be our choice. Regards R Browne.

-It is always possible to improve services. For once the improvements would spend 3 to 4 stars or 5. Is it really useful?

Staff very friendly. Everything was perfectly clean.
Welcome of the friendly owners. They take the time to speak with you and advise you on the "things" to see or do.

The staff is very nice and helpful, breakfast in form of buffet with a lot of choice.
I you Council strongly to a hammam session! We did not expect such high quality. Spa privatized with all the necessary comforts: shower, wc, space for change and of course steam. All immersed in the atmosphere of a luxurious spa with relaxing music.
A pure moment of well being!
Two small negative points however, the radiator of the room which was not working (once as the duvet that is forgotten! ) and dog (owner I guess) who walks around in the breakfast room and comes at the foot of each table to claim.
Other than that, great stay!

Welcome, room spacious and clean, breakfast was excellent.
Only fly in the ointment: faulty TV and don't had not warned us of organizing a marathon in Reims the next morning, where early blocking nearby streets.

Very friendly welcome, very clean and well equipped room. Our family suite wasn't huge but it had ample room for a one-night stop off, and the bunk beds meant we still had use of the sofa. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Quiet location, we got a parking space even arriving late, and the hotel owners recommended a very nice restaurant within 3 min walk. Breakfast was 10 euros, 5 for children, but we didn't have time to stop the next morning. It smelled good though. We didn't have time to use the outdoor pool but we saw it and it looked very inviting. Our only criticism was the pillows — no problem for kids, but not very substantial for an adult and there was only one spare in the room. The desk was closed by the time we got back from the meal so we couldn't request another.

Nice and clean hotel close to the city center. Family-owned and well maintained. Rooms are small but very clean, well designed and practical. Pool area is great. Parking is available and it's only 15 min walk to the center.

Hotel location, city easily accessible on foot in 15 minutes. Room small but functional, decoration is a little outdated but everything is there and it's clean. Very friendly staff, who well advised on that see in Reims. And a small jump in the pool when it's very hot, it appreciates.

I was looking for a very quiet room and was allocated the quietest in the building. The room itself has soundproof panels which help. I also requested to have the duvet cover on the bed replaced with a normal blanket and this had already been done before I got to the hotel. I will return when I next stay in Reims.

Advertised as a 3 star hotel but does not meet standard in size of room and furnishing, absence of staff during night and evening, lack of restaurant. Doors are on automatic in the evening, night and early morning, when working. We were locked out of the hotel for around 40 minutes due to a failure of the system. Staff were friendly and helpful, when present. If you're looking for a good 1 or 2 star hotel, I would recommend this.
