Very old unique building but hotel facilities poor. Fitout of room basic, and faulty. No fridge or water available, no safe even though it says there is one available and some staff very disinterested. This hotel has great potential if maintnence was attended to.

Very nice room with period walls, very beautiful, very clean! The window overlooking the street and the restaurant next door scared us, but the triple glazing was very effective! Excellent advice for the restaurant L'Ecrit-Vin and for the free parking at the end of the street!

Very convenient location to city center. The room was small, but cosy and authentic french… Would visit again!

Hotel more than average, breakfast €12 is too expensive to have stale pastries and orange juice in brick, no fruit salad the strict minimum.

We loved this hotel. The receptionist at the hostel was very welcoming and friendly, the room was pretty and clean. The room rate was quite affordable compared to the service. It was very easy to get around on foot as located in the city center. I strongly recommend this property for your stays in the area.

Very clean hotel and nice room. There is a curtain missing from the bathroom window of room 21; Even if there are no screws, this can be awkward for some people.

Good hotel in the heart of the city, excellent location At about 300 meters there is a public parking where you can leave your car without paying! Nice rooms, very cosy and clean, very friendly staff that do not have a 24-hour reception.

Hotel well placed in the city center and nevertheless quiet. Comfortable bedding and room very clean. Good breakfast.

Charming old hotel, friendly staff. Good breakfast! No AC and the door to the toilet wouldn't close properly, but as long as you don't have anything to hide from you roomie that works fine :P.

Ok for overnight but not great for a longer stay rooms rather tired and hot no A. C. In the hotel. Breakfast OK but had better.

Central hotel in Beaune. You can walk the entire city. Most wine tours will pick you up from here as well. The rooms are simple but nice. Plus there is a bae with pool!

Excellent location Hotel located in a former convent. The rooms still deserve a little refreshment (mainly heating level, windows and shutters)

Während unseres Besuches in Beaune haben wir im Hotel Athanor Posizione und waren sehr zufrieden. Die zentrale Lage dieses Hotels ist einfach genial für einen Besuch von Beaune.
Dieses alte Gebäude hat einen ganz besonderen Flair. Die Zimmer (mit Bad und WC) waren sehr sauber und gut, der Service liess nichts vermissen, das Frühstück gut.
Fazit: Wir kommen wieder und daher: Sie Sie sich besser für ein andres Hotel, damit dieses Hotel Athanor nicht ständig ausgebucht ist.
During our visit to Beaune we stayed at the Hotel Athanor and we were very pleased. The central location of this hotel is just great for a visit to Beaune.
This old building has a very special flair. The room (with bathroom and loo) were very clean and good, the service was nothing missing, the good breakfast.
Conclusion: We will come back, and therefore: you better may decide for another hotel to ensure, that this hotel is not constantly fully booked.

More reception after 21: 00, no hotel bar, strange. Otherwise good location and comfortable rooms.
