The Josephine room was amazing. We booked it for a week over Christmas with the aim of having somewhere we could crash and cook a nice meal on the 24th and 25th. The place was perfect. It's a short walk to the town center and Christmas market, or you can walk along the canal, or even go hiking in the hills, which we did a few times.
It's also a short walk from the train station, allowing easy access to the wonders of Strasbourg.
Laurent was friendly and welcoming, and everything in the room was spotless (and decorated for the season, even with a little Christmas tree! ). The bed is comfortable and the appliances are recent and in good condition.
And the house is magnificent! There are all kinds of remarkable works of art, from Saverne or other places, arranged all along the beautiful old staircase leading to the room. And the welcome mat at the entrance seems to have been tailor-made to match the tiles: the whole place is full of these little details that make it particularly unique.
We loved our stay, and we think it couldn't have been better.
