My husband and I had a wonderful time staying in the guesthouse, it was clean and very organised. The guesthouse is also very cosy and had a homely feel. The staff were very friendly and we greatly appreciate the assistance provided and answering all our queries. They also helped arrange our taxi rides back to the Guesthouse without delay. The meals were home cooked by the staff herself and it was delicious!

Great place for the family. The 3 course dinner are delightful. The people and service are amazing. The Huskie Safari was a n adventure. A highly recommended place.

My husband and I took full advantage of the 3 days we spent at this property. Large, clear and comfortable room, quality service and excellent family meals to experience home-cooked local cuisine. Breakfasts and dinners are very plentiful. Excellent value for money. The icing on the cake is where we enjoyed our most beautiful Northern Lights of the week with clear skies in the clearing and the huskies howling, it was perfectly supernatural. We felt alone in the world. A wonderful experience. Ivalo just a few miles away. Very well.

4h hike on frozen lakes and into the tundra for an unforgettable experience.
We were a group of eight sleds, on each sled two people climbed, one sitting in front and the other behind the guide, each sled was pulled by six Huskies. For lunch we stopped inside a tent where the guide lit the fire and prepared a great stew.

My partner and I completed one of their overnight husky trip and it was truly amazing. An experience that I cannot recommend enough to anyone.

If you go nice surroundings of Inari/ivalo you absolutely have to hike with their dogs and visit this farm Brllissima in the void. A sled experience in the forests of these places. We have also seen a herd of reindeer graze freely during our transit. If you book with a very large advance there is the possibility to stay overnight. A wonderful place.

Great place, very relaxing.

Very welcoming, great hospitality, excellent rooms. Far away from anywhere :) you have to walk 5 km to reach supermarket. You have a guest kitchen to cook your meal. Clean and tidy.

An amazing experience and delicious food. We stayed at the guesthouse a night either end of a three day husky dog sled tour to their cabin on an island in the lake. Our 12 year old had her own sled and dog team and she handled it beautifully. I think that that this is the only company that allows children to drive dog sleds, and they certainly gave the children on our trip the easiest dog teams. She easily unharnessed and harnessed her team morning and night and helped others with theirs. Sledding is a skill that seems to be easy master sufficiently to enjoy. The food on the safari and at the guesthouse house was spectacular, especially the home made bread. The camp fire cooking was well organized and delicious. There were lots of chores to do once we arrived at the cabin, but this was a welcome reminder that we are out in the wilderness and that dogs are not machines.

This is brilliant, stay at the guesthouse and go on the overnight husky tour. Long story:
I own a cafe/restaurant and of course I pay special attention to the meals and service given everywhere I go. … We made the reservation almost a year in advance and also made some changes, which was no problem at all. Super busy during peak season Christmas/New year. Food
Pre ordered (vegetarian) 2 course dinner is 21€ and we got veggie soup with lenses first night, veggie lasagna 2nd night. With desert and homemade berry juice. No coffee/tea. All good, basic, genuine homemade food. Served 18:00 (6pm) and it’s all over at 18:25. We joked it felt like we were being fed. It is a husky farm after all.
During the overnight tour we had lunch twice: same veggie soup as at the guesthouse but no lenses. The others got salmon and sausage in their soup, proteins. A bit worried it wasn’t enough calories/energy to take us through the ride: 5 hours in — 25C. In the end we were fine so it didn’t really matter, vegetarianism isn’t a big thing in Lapland, what to expect. Service
All super nice and proud people, not in a trained robot like way, but genuinely nice. The thing is, don’t come here and expect luxury and being spoiled. This is genuine, no bull. No well drilled “customer is always right”. This is: Come and enjoy how we live our lifes in Lapland. It’s rough (read — 25C), but very friendly, if you deserve friendly. Be prepared.

Lovely guesthouse. Very accommodating and happy owners and staff. The tour organised was fantastic! The food cooked was delicious. We had cream smoked reindeer cheese vegetable soup which was heaven in a bowl and reindeer soup which was lovely! All very cosy and friendly. The children loved the huskies, especially the puppies. The room was perfect with everything we needed the shower was great! there was even toys and games and colouring pens for the children to play with and use. If I had to be picky, the only small downside was the bedroom toilet did not have a toilet hose sprayer though it was available in the public guesthouse WC.

Did the husky ride here, very friendly staff. And the ride was fun!

I'm staying here at the moment and I'm absolutely loving it. The hospitality has been second to none. The accommodation is brilliant. Great size room… Warm and cosy and the shower is lovely too with shower gel/shampoo provided there is also a hairdryer too. As for the food. Have loved trying the different lappish dishes very tasty and plentiful. Have strolled round grounds seeing the huskies… Im lucky enough to be going out tomorrow sledding with them. As I have travelled here alone I would say its definitely safe to do so. If you want to escape from the rat race of the city this is the place to stay to chill out… loving every single moment.

Beautifully located in the woods near Ivalo. Beautiful large rooms. There is a small kitchen where you can always enjoy coffee and tea (provided), but also cook food. Dinner is very good. You can register in a list for the sauna and then have it for yourself. Very family atmosphere in the nice falunred wooden house. You can caress the dogs, especially sweet were the 5 week old husky puppies! I was on the 2 1/2 h husky sleigh tour in sunny weather — it was beautiful. There was a break in which coffee and tea were cooked over the fire and there were small reindeer sausage rolls. I highly recommend the guesthouse! :)

Lovelly place. We spent 2 nights on a wide family room, were able to see nothernlight lights from the balcony. We also did the 2days husky safari With fantastic guide called Jere.
Fodd is gréât and people friendly and helpful.
Defintely à place to go and stay.

Great service from the staff, the huskies are so fun and well-cared for, and the location is wonderful.
