Very convenient close to the station and the center, clean, comfortable beds, breakfast varied and abundant, very comfortable kitchen available to guests, friendly staff.

Cosy Hotel with breakfast included and kitchen available. The employees are lovely. It is very well located, about 10 minutes from the centre of Rovaniemi, with the bus station almost next door and a stop to the Santa Claus House.

Overall is amazing place to stay, close to bus station and supermarket.

The facilities are great, but there are a few issues that interrupt sleep. There is no door to the bedroom, and the blinds on the front window that looks to the street can't be closed so light streams in. The hotel's laundry is apparently downstairs and the staff were talking and laughing until about 11pm. However, the kitchen is well equipped and there is a good washing machine. With the sauna heating the whole bathroom clothes dry quickly. There was a sense of momentarily living in an IKEA showroom.

A place of welcome that fits perfectly with what I was looking for. Simple but clean and warm comfort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is a bit out of the way but very easy to access. Breakfast is served from 7.30 am to 10.00 am with cheese, charcuterie, yogurt, cake of all kinds. The taxi-bus will drop you off from the airport.
For those who make up their stay seeking comfortable simplicity it's perfect! The supermarket at 5 minutes can find good catering and smoked salmon… meals at a lower cost!
And for outings consult: 66 Arctic Adventures, it is really top.

Nice place, located near the train station and with a shuttle bus stop. The rooms are good and the breakfast (extra fee) is abondant with a wide choice of foods. You are given a key of the front door in case you want to enter after the curfew. The manageress is kind and serviceable and there is a communal kitchen for those who wish to cook. Our shower only delivered cold water in the morning, though.

Value for money unbeatable… Close to line 8 for Santa Park and the train station… A room to prepare to eat… Generous breakfast at will with good products and included in the price of the room. Very friendly welcome and lots of information available. Perfect stay!

Posizione comodissima: meno di 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione, e 10-15 a piedi dal centro. Inoltre funge da pick-up point per diverse attività organizzate da agenzie locali. Staff cordiale e preparato.

Budget class hotel — high value for your money. We were overnight here on our tournee from Southern Finland to Lapland to have one week hiking trip. Rooms are small but clean and you will not get any extras, but for our purposes this is all we needed. In stairs there are even beautiful paintings from Lapland's nature (see fotos). The location is quite good. It is easy to have evening walk and see city centre.

Very basic and slightly run down place, you can get a nice airbnb apartment for less.

A cosy B&B near the train station, with a nice breakfast buffet. However the location is not very convenient to city centre if you do not have a car and have to walk 15mins in winter.

Borealis is a small-scale guesthouse but don't be fooled by the size of it. It is a cozy place run by the owner who is often available herself and goes the distance to ensure that service meets advertisement and standards and beyond. I've stayed there twice for little over a week and I will again coming february 2017. As a guesthouse aimes at guests for short terms I can fully recommend Borealis for longer stays. The trainstation is virtually around the corner and the citycenter is at a 10-15 minute walk. A supermarket is at less than 5 minutes and the airport bus runs for €8. A red velvet carpet and shiny doorknob don't add anything. Every value adding thing is there in Saïla and her staff.

Located very conveniently close to Rovaniemi train station (600m away), Guesthouse Borealis offers an affordable accommodation with all the basic facilities you need — comfy bed, hot shower + towels, buffet breakfast, and kitchen area. The staff (or owners? ) are all very friendly and welcoming that you'll feel the ambience of a house here. I really like staying here as it is calm, clean, and very strategic!

Well kept traditional-style guesthouse offering basic but clean rooms, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Close to railway stadion and bus station.

A cosy, pleasant, and most importantly cheap place! Next to the auto-and railway station, shops around the corner, breakfast, shower and toilet in the room, FREE Wi-Fi!

Location near rairway station. Staff is nice. Nothing to complain besides room is too small.
