This hotel is unreal. It’s like something from a film, the views of the forest are magical. The beds are comfy and food at Rakas is lovely. I would recommend highly to anyone, has a very romantic vibe would be perfect for couples. Wish I could stay forever 🥰

All I can say is wow! We stayed in an executive suite for our tenth wedding anniversary, and it more than exceeded expectations. So many lovely little touches, and the bath overlooking a snowy winter scene was magical. The fire in the bar area and the breakfast and food was exceptional — lovely relaxed atmosphere. Staff could not have been more lovely and helpful — special mention to Luna in the bar who was a joy and made sure we saw the northern lights which was a sight to remember forever. If there were more than 5 star I’d give them — just amazing.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here last week, really enjoyable stay. The staff were fantastic, the cabin was so lovely and it was just all round beautiful.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a TREMENDOUS experience! We (family of four, 8 year old and a 9 year old) have just had THE most amazing time here! The rooms are beautiful, the staff are so friendly and accommodating! The restaurant is amazing and Emma and Almir and co certainly make sure you have a fabulous evening! The food is of the best we have ever tasted and we have been blown away every night by the superb dishes given to us in the restaurant! AMAZING! Thank you! We will definitely be recommending! This place is magical! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Big windows so you might be lucky enough to see the nordic ligths.

This hotel is absolutely WOW! Not only are the surroundings so very beautiful but the staff are totally fantastic and can not do enough to help your stay run smoothly. Sadly we lost a day here due to the strike at Helsinki airport however the hotel staff arranged transport for the following day and made the whole thing easier. The tree houses are superb, warm, with a real luxury feel. The decor in the main reception and bar area is tranquil and relaxing and again service second to non. Can not wait to come back again!

We had an amazing anniversary weekend at Arctic TreeHouse Hotel. Nests are beautiful and cozy, the staff is very helpful and friendly and food at the Rakas restaurant is top-notch. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. Perfect get-away weekend! Thank you!

Were there during winter and its was v pretty with lots of Christmas lightings. A little expensive but worth it for romantic getaways. Service staffs are nice.

Very special experience as you feel like you are sleeping in the forest! We had some issues with our room and the staff were very helpful in providing a solution. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Not a huge fan of the breakfast thou.

People in the hotel are very nice. The food is real art. The chef is originally a dessert chef so these things are pieces of art! The room is fantastic and the stove can be do-it-yourself, with good service attitude, beautiful scenery and good breakfast.

Magical place. BUT very small rooms even though I booked a suite it was still small. Bathroom extremely small & tge shower water fills the floor. €15 euro extra charge for room service.

The rooms are snuggly and cute, but you definitely can't see the northern lights from them or really from anywhere at the hotel especially with the lights kept on all night. Our room was extremely overpriced for what it was, but we thought being able to cozy up farther away from the city and watch the lights (as their website advertises) would be worth it. In reality you are very close to the city and the Santa Park, and there is no panoramic view from the treehouses at all. We were going on a northern lights tour anyway so that wouldn't have been the end of the world. But in the morning when we were trying to get ready before being picked up for a different tour, we discovered our hot water wasn't working. After waiting 25 minutes for maintenance to come, fiddle around with it, and then be told the boiler wasn't working for our room, their solution was to have us walk down the hill in bathrobes and snow boots to a different tree house in order to shower and then walk back up while wet in the Arctic winter. This whole ordeal took so long that we missed the included breakfast and had to rush to make our tour. When we checked out they didn't even offer us a discount, and after we complained they said they could only offer 50 euros off the price of 700 something. Incredibly disappointing customer service.

My husband and I visited for our honeymoon. Words cannot express how beautiful this place is! The service we recived from all staff was beyond. So friendly and happy to help with everything we asked for from booking tours or even what drinks to try. The rooms blew us away! So beautifully decorated with a view to die for! Snuggly and warm when we arrived with a tour of how to use everything. I would reccomend this place to anyone wanting to see natural beauty from a place of pure comfort.

Stayed here during 2017 Christmas season. Have to say, the most memorable Christmas we had. Mesmerising Christmas celebration program planned by them. Visit to Santa’s secret forest, having Santa spending Christmas Eve at the dinner, giving out presents to everybody, attended the ‘Magic of the Artic Circle’ show and lastly having received a special parcel delivered all the way from Santa & his elves to my son brings an absolutely amazingly magical end to our trip to the home of Santa. Will definitely visit again n recommend anyone who wanted to give a very special Christmas to the family to visit them. It’s really that good. Thank you to all the staff who had assisted us during our stay. Deeply appreciated. May all have a wonderful year ahead.

First time here and must admit we had the best time and service, the staff really looked after us on the first night dinner, even though we didn’t make a booking for the restaurant they were kind enough to set up a table for two in a cosy little section of the restaurant. So much to do here and easy to get around via taxi or local transportation. We highly recommend others to visit this wonder of the world… Thanks again cya in the near future The Hodak’s from Australia.

Ideal to stay there to go to Santa Park.

Great place! Wonderful staff and very helpful. Lodging is very nice and lobby/restaurant is nice. Close to the airport (15 min away or less) a few walking paths nearby and two places for a campfire and a lookout tower. Should have a rental car while there or be ready to bike a lot. They do have bikes to use.

First, after the longest waiting time before I get into the room, the front desk people could not find the keys for my room. And they just made one, since I got into the room, the temperature in the room is about 10 degree. The whole room is freezing! The reason cause this because one window is totally broke and it kept open. And Remember the check in time is 4:00 P. M. And there has zero chance you will get earlier although the check out time is 11:00 A. M. That means they need to use almost 5 hours to clean one single room. You can image in Rovaniemi during the December, the daylight time start around 11:30A. M. And it’s end around 1:30P. M. You gonna be trapped in here if you got this place in the morning. It’s just terrible! I must admit that the design idea and the view is amazing. But there is no necessary reason you must get into the room to bear all this S**t.

What to say, you live a fairy tale! The rooms are unique, immersed in the vegetation of Rovaniemi 2 km from the village of Santa Claus. Relaxation and nature for those who want to immerse themselves in this context. Really 5 star service.

This restaurant serves good food but most of it is non vegetarian. On our request they made a good vegetarian sandwich.

Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Great location for Santa's Park. Unfortunately not any options to buy amenities and the restaurant is poor. They cannot cope during busy periods, waiting over 70mins for a meal. Not to mention the most limited menu and very poor options, especially if you're staying for 3-4 nights. In addition they were not able to accommodate any requests and each meal came with a hefty price tag, with kids meals at around 12euros and all adult main meals from 20-35 each. I wouldn't mind the price tag if the food had been of great quality and exceptional delivery but they didn't season and service on the whole was a little poor. The hotel staff on the other hand were very helpful and resourceful, helping to source a sledge on several occasions. The rooms are comfortable and warm and cosy, only sldrae back was there was too much light to see The northern lights if the sky was clear, and the look out tower is quite steep to climb. Overall tip: take some snacks with you and be prepared.

Unique environment, neat and clean rooms, beautiful scenery, ideal for a honeymoon or a romantic trip. Also you can see the aurora borealis directly from your bed!

Amazing hotel! Strongly recommend.

A relatively new hotel built of cabins in the middle of a forrest. The view is amazing, the service is great. There are 2 fire pits to watch the Northern Lights, and all cabins have a glass wall facing north. The hotel doesn't have a spa, but orders in massage services at your request and offers discount to a local spa.

Had dinner here, service was slow. The rooms look interesting, but definer not worth the money you pay.
