Booked for two nights 09/08/22 and 10/08/22 but only will stay one night. Not up to international standard internet is not working in rooms there is no sky TV intercontinental breakfast is a joke with dry piece of bread butter only total rubbish Please don’t book thing first There was no shampo soap in bathroom 2/10 review very noisy air conditioning.

It's homey n friendly. Lovely historical place.

We have been regular guests to this hotel and it is ideal for us as locals and its location is convenient. Recommended for everyone.

Rooms arent that good… the restaurant is good… staff excellent.

Beautiful, clean and affordable for a weekend getaway.

Ate at the Baka Lounge recently. It was a really nice place, the pizzas we ordered were quite delicious but the service was just pathetic. They were slow, not polite in terms of responding when we called over, we placed our orders & the person behind the counter forgot to take it & it wasn't until we went to inquire about our order did they realise their error. The service needs a lot of work if they want to be a locations that'll attract more customers.

Centrally located in the heart of the City. Convenient, cost effective and recently upgraded.

I was there from Monday to Friday on business trip but I would say it was more like home. Though the lift was not working but I was ok in using stairs since it kept me fit with this exercise lol. Clean and beautiful rooms. Such friendly smiles and service. Staffs were available on service for 24 /7. Thank you Mereia n team for such a lovely service.

Nice hotel close to Suva city. Lovely staff, good barista made coffee and a nice pool area.

Rooms are nothing like the pictures on the sites. There was mold in the first room we got. The second room is on the 4th floor with no working elevator. The shower runs out of water in the middle of showering. Just not an experience one would expect for an establisment that has been around for so long.

Well the rooms on Level 2 are very small in terms of twin share and if you are overly voluptuous good luck in the showers on the same level as the one in my room was very narrow. This hotel has just had a bit of an upgrade in terms of their bar and cafe. They do have a pretty cool bar but beware as they play the music loud. The cafe sells a pretty delicious brownie and when heated up and served with whipped cream it taste good. I felt like I was sitting in a cafe in Auckland city as opposed to Suva. The pizza is overly large and their main meals are quite big servings so a plus there. Staff are friendly and there is a little tuck shop where you can buy snacks and drinks. Its close enough to town and in a pretty good neighborhood with lots of people walking past in the morning's so their conversations if loud can wake you up. The porters at the door are very helpful with flagging down taxis and opening doors. The staff at reception were helpful. Note there are computers there one can purchase Wi-fi cards but its not set up like small business centres in other hotels that may have access to a printer so you have to send it to reception and they are able to print out or scan abd email things if you need it. The lift wasn't working the whole time we were there but they dis get someone to come look at it however could be working now. Who knows? My stay included a continental breakfast — really loved the fresh fruits in terms of guava and watermelon.

Pretty ordinary. The lift is out of action. We were allocated a room with no window. Really. You could do better elsewhere.

We checked into peninsula and had to leave the premises within 30mins. The room we were checked into had a stinky drain right outside the room. The room itself had a very strong stinky smell and when we requested to upgrade to another room (thinking we might get a better room), similar conditions with just a bigger bathroom. Clean the rooms for the guest Management of peninsula rather than updating the cafeteria. We got lured into booking ppeninsula hotel from Melbourne only because the reviews. No refund, no apologies, worst customer services ever. Hopefully, this review will enable other guest to make better decision and not be fooled. Some places to book for a pleasurable stay in Suva and experience great customer services: Grand Pacific Hotel, Tanoa Plaza, Holiday Inn and Novotel.

I thought it was the same peninsula as we have in Jakarta, but no, it is different. The room is fine, the service is great as we were staying there during Ramadan and they prepared ourearly breakfast (sahur), it is near to everywhere (well thats how Suva is). It is okay to stay here.

This review is not for the hotel but for their new bar that just opened (June 2018), right on top there with great hotel bars.

Thank you Peninsula Suva for your understanding and most of all the wonderful service you extended during my stay last week. Beautiful and very helpful staff who are always there to assist in any way. Not forgetting the staff of Hillcrest Restaurant especially to Chef Luke! Loloma from the Garden Island of Fiji.

This hotel sucked big time. The price $531 NZD for 3 nights and the rooms were pathetic. The bathroom wasnt properly cleaned and wouldn't flush in the first try. Aircon not working either. Changed rooms at 10pm but have had strangers attempting to get in our room twice and in return just a sorry. Stay away. Especially if you are a tourist.

I checked it at 7pm n room was not ready. No porter was available. I was given a different room key by another guest because the security mistakenly gave my room keys to them. In New room, bed bugs! Can't sleep at night. Got rashes all over my arms and legs. Never coming back here. Not even worth 1 star.

This rating is mostly due to the fact that I always get the rooms on the ground floor which has a distictive rustic/musty smell that is particularly seductive for asthmatic people. Rating is likely to increase after completion of renovations/ remodelling. Staff are great here…

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The entire hotel is run down and dirty. Drug dealers lurked in all the corridors and around the pool, making it feel incredibly unsafe to be outside your room. Which is made worse when your room makes you feel dirty. I had bed bugs, and a growing pool of stagnant water coming from under my bed. There was excrement in the shower that I had to clean of myself. And at night you can hear every movement from rooms above, left and right of you, as well as the loud music coming from the club. But worse than the bugs, the excrement and the noise, is the fact that at night the men who lurked around the hotel start banging on your door and ringing your room phone. This was an experienced shared by my 2 other colleagues in other rooms. Upon telling the reception about this experience and informing them I would be checking out immediately, we received a blank stare and "How will you be paying? " I wish I could give it 0 stars, but 1 is the minimum. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Unreliable workers and services very poor. Warning to all guests assuming to live there it is not safe for you. We have lost some of our item and when asking to retrieve by the CCTV camera they said it is not working. I might say workers are THIEF. So, the CCTV camera just put up there for decoration which isn't work at all. A week from now still no contact of our lost item. The room isn't clean, too many lices found on bed and chairs. This is the WORST accommodation we have ever been to.

I was very impressed although the elevator was not operating to my floor that was no problem the room I had was more than adequate and the Hillcrest restaurant was the greatest in food.

One of the best hotels in the town. Very nice architectural design and you will really enjoy the poolside tables at night. Very clean. Friendly cooperative staff.

Excellent rooms and good service.

Very poor service. The room is like an oven. Air conditioner not working. They have provided a fan. Never stay here.

Newly renovated rooms. Good restaurant. Clean environment. Limited parking.

Not good… lacks caring atmosphere… no Wi-Fi facility … not good for people who want to work from hotel.

Decent place to say. Simple and comfortable. Good for business trips. Had a nice swimming pool and a good bar to chill and have a few.

Good location and bang for your buck. The only real downside is the lift system (only 1 and really small)

Very simple hotel. Not for business people. No desk inside the room. Restaurant is good though. Breakfast was so basic.

Basic hotel. Rooms are clean and spacy. The lift is scary!

Clean and currently fairly priced, just don't imagine an upmarket hotel with spacious rooms and glorious views. Pool and bar here but neither attractive. Food in the restaurant is fairly average/poor but the staff are friendly.

Currently being renovated so it is noisy and parts of the hotel are boarded up. Friendly staff. New cafe/restaurant recently opened up. Expecting great changes to the place.

I would give it five stars if I was staying here before after their construction. The breakfast is alright, its small and light and being a Samoan, well the room are really good and recommended for short term stays. Especially those on business trips. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

Ok place to stay in Suva location & budget wise… has a quirky cool cafe downstairs… must visit if you're in Suva.

Not worth the money. There is better cheaper accomodation in Suva. We booked the superior deluxe room, so we could have a little space and a spa. It was terrible. The room smelt of mould from the seals around the spa, and there was lots of mould in the cistern, and when you turned the exhaust fan on the smell increased. More over the spa did not work. The reception desk knew this when they checked us into our room but did not tell us. When we asked them about it they told us they didn't get a chance to fix it before we checked in, they wouldn't give us a different room and we had to argue for a discounted room rate. The room had an old CRT TV that turned its self off after 5 minutes from watching. The air conditioning didn't work well either. If you stay here book their cheaper rooms, they have been renovated slightly and at least have a working TV.
