— NO SAFETY my mobile phone was stolen with no action or proper investigation done by the hotel management and when I simply asked them to review the cameras recordings they said that “We have no cameras.! ” & the night shift supervisor said to me that he always keeps his mobile inside his pocket afraid of being stolen! I was shocked by his lack of professionalism and bad attitude towards an important matter such as safety! Honestly never been anywhere and met such rude staff especially front desk and restaurant staff! generally the staff aren’t well-trained or qualified. Very law profiles.
— The room smells of raw sewage and has insects inside!
— The food, housekeeping was very bad; I do not know how it is a 5 stares hotel… with this such poor level of everything … food, hygiene, cleaning, staff… I am ashamed that I stayed there and embarrassed that I blessed this hotel with any of my hard-earned money. I do not rate this hotel as 5 star, it have a Beautiful view with Nice rooms but a very old TV. 1 — Something wrong with the structure you will need to study the place to visit the restaurant. Also one elevator for each building and it is too small. 2 — Food is great, but I do not think the restaurant is ready for the whole hotel capacity. It is very limited, you will stand in along line to eat. Also plates are very hot. 3 — Wifi service is not working probably, also the reception area had no air conditioner. 4 — The pool is decent, but also if the hotel is crowded you will suffer.

Everything im saying is the honest truth, I'm not exaggerating or being fussy, this is just what we personally experienced. Rooms were dirty. Toilet was broken and leaking with urine smell. We booked a room for three people but the third bed was a broken bed with dirty mattress. After many complaints till the next day, the manager promised to come himself with the cleaner to make sure the rooms would be cleaned but they never came. Regarding the food, we did not have much selection, we had to eat the same dish for three consecutive days… Also, they said snacks would be available at a certain time of the day but it took us ages to find the "snacks" since it was located in some hidden area of the hotel which very hard to locate. In terms of drinks, you had to wait a long time to get some and when they arrived they were warm, water was warm aswell. The reception area had no air conditioner, making the area unbearably hot, in which we had to wait for two hours just to enter our rooms. Finally employees would guilt trip you into giving them a tip BEFORE they carry out their duty, as opposed to after. Which either way shouldn't happen as you shouldn't have to give an employee a tip to carry out their job, they are already paid to do so.

The hotel is very beautiful! From ancient fairy tales, as you find yourself in the Middle Ages in the palace of the sultan. A fabulous oasis in the desert. But, everything is dirty, cleaning rooms and hotels… Service and food hardly pulls only on a three-star Israeli hotel, and not on a five-year-old, as advertised on the Internet. On arrival, we waited several hours for the reception to receive rooms, although the order was issued in advance through the site. The children fell asleep on the floor… But all the troubles were compensated the next day in the spa! The level of massage and spa treatments is very professional and very cheap compared to Israeli prices and service. We got a huge pleasure!

It’s a Very bad experience, The Staff were not qualified to deal professionally with guests, the food was very bad, the Service and house keeping was very bad, it deserves to be less than two stars not five stars hotel!

I wouldn’t rate this hotel as 5 stars and here is why. Pros and cons: 1-Good hotel facilities with great architecture but the accessibility is really bad. Walking to the restaurant is a hassle, elevators and doors is narrow if you are using a twin stroller, walkways lighting is poor. 2 — Food : food taste is good, variety is not bad but if you are not lucky and you arrived in congested days like what happen to me then you will get a horrible experience as the restaurant was design to accommodate half the capacity of the hotel now. It seems the hotel made an extension to get more rooms but the restaurant kept it is original capacity. You Should AVOID coming to this hotel in seasons unless if you like to stand in a long row to eat some OK food and you are willing to wait for a table for 15 minutes. 3 — Rooms are spacious but it need more maintenance and more cleaning. We found ants in the room, the AC wasn’t working fine and the floor and bed sheets wasn’t perfectly cleaned. The room service responded fast and managed to solve these issues but where have you been in the first place? 4 — Hotel facilities, location are good. Reception is not air conditioned and Wifi service are not working properly. Bottom line, good value for money but avoid in seasons.

Good quality service. Friendly staff. Vast with a lot of amenities. My biggest problem was the serving of drinks in disposable plastic cups. That was an unpleasant surprise as when its busy it creates a lot if trash in the place which is a scene not fitting a 5 stars resort. I don't even want to think about how they are disposing of all of this plastic, cause if it is not recycled properly it will devastate the fragile environment surrounding the hotel. I sincerely hope they go back to using reusable cups again. But overall my stay was satisfactory.

Nice beach front resort that has a huge pool and a nice salt water lagoon overlooking shores of Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Staff extra good and food delicious and with plenty of options. We had but to shift thrice the room; first for the allotted one not being cleaned, second for non working ac and noise. As the sea water is supplied without proper purification, you may end pouring blackish dirt upon your head if you don't take initial examination. Wi-Fi available only in the lobby. People neat, compassionate and good but not professional.

They're famous for their wide variety of food everyday from different cuisines. Also a very good location. Very clean place except for the toilet near the main pool which I hope happened by mere accident. However, some of the staff are not so helpful or they appeared to be busy with the so many guests there. Guests there are mostly Jordanians btw. Also the covered pool in the spa area seems to be not properly managed because it doesn't work when there's massage time which of course doesn't make sense.

To the Pros I attribute: large rooms, large balconies with sun loungers, real, spacious shower cubicles made of ceramic mosaic, with glass doors. Very spacious hotel with a large territory and a beach. The sea is very close by. For those who do not like the waves there is a pool-lagoon of natural view with sea water (this is apart from other pools with plain water). The staff is very polite and correct, always ready to listen to you and help, but only in Arabic and English. But Olga, who always listens and will help, works at the reception.
The disadvantages include: no transfer from the border to the hotel and the local bombed you and promise to drive you for $50. But you don't have to hurry.

In the desert wilderness of the beach resort, the sea is full of tropical fish swim coral Reef Group, become a hot dive in Europe and the United States. Small round stone beach like nice. Rich buffet-style meals to meet the taste buds of gourmands guests, and the outdoor seating area, with large and small birds with you, to enjoy a hearty meal.

The place is very relaxing so if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, the strand is a perfect choice. Rooms are very nice and got great views (sea, pool and lake views are the best) also, there is a heated pool, gym and spa. The beach is good for a tan but not for swimming. It's full of rocks even in the "easy access area', so it's quite annoying to swim through the rocks and the water isn't clear as dahab's beaches. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The only not so good thing is the food. Breakfast is the best course they serve. For lunch and dinner it's quiet boring and not that good, the chicken has no flavor (tried different types and all were tasteless), pasta sauces were so watery. Beef was the best option whether it's burger, emansee or picata. The overall stay was nice but there are not much you could do there. Also, the animation team wasn't that good. I watched the same exact show for 3 days and it was very basic.

It was a nice place with good food but extremally loud. Beging in the morning with music played next to the pool, animation during the day and disco at night. All of these could be heard in every room in the hotel…

This is a beautiful hotel. We were there in March.
The first hotel in Egypt I had to visit.
The only thing that is not pleased-is the situation in the city of Taba-because of this few tourists and not rebuilt the city.
But this hotel is just wonderful. The staff make the hotel a candy:) Some of them do not understand quite Russian, or speak bad English, but it is not critical, of course.
The hotel blooms and smells:) The pools are always clean, entertainment every night. Hookahs are also available, but at an additional cost.
The kitchen pleased all the time of rest-there was something to try, and even once was the evening of the kitchen on the grill-mmm, yummy:)
The rooms were always clean and cleaned, and almost every day we were expecting a pleasant surprise-flowers/animals made of towels, sometimes even with the addition of live flowers.

Actually I stayed in another hotel in Taba Heights but was allowed to use the pools in Strand Hotel. I liked the atmosphere. The bar and lounge area are very nice with fast Wi-Fi.

Just Wow! Well maintained and the Hotel is too huge divided into blocks which confused me being my first visit, the sensitivity of the card provided needs to be checked as one needs to spend alot of time to open. The beach is Awesome. Ask for anything it will be there.

The best hotel i've ever been to in my life. The frontdesk are very helpful great food but very few options should have a lot more options for a 5 star hotel and the lake is my best place there, great views, they have free coffee machine for all inclusive users even at dinner and everywhere which is great.

It doesn't worth 5 stars. The receptionist " Mohamed Said " is rude, but his partner Mohamed Usama is helpful and awesome. No air conditioning in the lobby and corridors. The food is good, but the dessert is poor. The reservation manager made a mistake about my room, my reservation was a Sea view room, but he put me in a garden view room. The next day after some argument, he replaced the room. The restaurant staff argue with each other in front of the guests. The room is very good and the air conditioning in the room is excellent. The swimming pools are clean and the beach is very good.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The people had very little interest in 30. On the first day, they called in a locksmith and cleaned up the plumbers and made them clean. Food is good, as it is everywhere in Egypt. Entrance to the sea from the beach you can go to the adjoining beaches of other hotels and dive from the pontoon and you can watch the fish.

Close to many places, you can visit.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, friendly staff, attentive to guests in Hotel     Hotel little, apparently affected by the crisis. We came into a Taboo about half-past twelve, checked in at 14:00. Claims to the staff was not, as we realized that the room was cleaned. Even before arrival we could use the bars and restaurant of the hotel. We stayed at the hotel Intercontinental Taba in may 2011.
I want to share my impressions about the hotel. The location is very good, in our opinion is the optimal ratio of price-quality.

We had an unforgettable stay. Two swimming pools, one heated, plus a small children's pool. A children's Playground. Salt lake with sandy entrance.
