Hello. Returned from this hotel just yesterday. To be honest, I was terribly worried when I went there, as I read a lot of different reviews, but I was worried in vain. It seems that about each hotel can be both bad and good reviews, tell you about their experiences.
First, I want to say that the hotel by Egyptian standards is very good, yes, for those who are used to the European luxery service, it will be hard to believe that the hotel has five stars, nevertheless. I will walk through the most exciting points of any tourist: rooms, food, service, sea with beach, animation and territory.
Rooms: we arrived in the dead of night, settled without problems, even carred around the hotel. My boyfriend and I liked the room, comfortable furniture, clean bathroom, the room has air conditioning, which is very important in such heat, TV with 3 Ukrainian channels, there is a refrigerator.
Pros: cleaning every day, from the towels twist all sorts of animals, change constantly bed and towels, leave drinking water.
Cons: in our room unfortunately there was no access to the balcony or terrace (I think it is possible to ask the hotel staff, we were not up to the plane at night from the plane). Also the fridge smelled bad and was empty, which is very strange for a 5 star hotel.
Food: diverse, enough meat, fish is very tasty, sometimes give seafood, there are local dishes. For breakfast you fry omelets, in the evening give out some interesting dish from the chef. The choice is great, eat dietary food. There is an Italian restaurant, there is a buffet for breakfast and lunch, there is much tastier pizza and pasta. The bar has free cocktails (and alcoholic cocktails too), sandwiches and fries at lunch, you can order a hookah in the restaurant.
Cons: a meagre selection of fruits and vegetables, do not even know why. Baking is tasteless, rubbery (I'm about cakes, and croissants, doughnuts for breakfast are good, oriental sweets bomb). Some dishes (such as pizza) will have to stand in line. Waiters are slow, feeding to come better in advance, as the devices are not always enough, and to achieve them is difficult) )
Service: good, the staff are friendly, the bar in the pool is nice guys, we paid nothing extra. They know Russian well, there will be no problems with that.
Minus: evicted strictly at 12.00, the bracelets are cut off, but for lunch allowed without problems. If you leave later, you'll have to hang around in the lobby.
Sea: awesome, clean, well-groomed. The beach is clean, there is no debris at all, the sea is led by a pier, the depth is good, but there are a lot of fish. Swim better sutra, hours at 7-9, in the evening the water is warmer, but the fish are smaller. At the bar you can take free drinks and ice cream (I didn't like it). On the shore there is a shallow sea, there water knee-deep, for children and people who are afraid of depth. Shells do not cut, on the beach it is better to walk shoes, sand is very heated.
There are three pools, basically the whole get-together in a large pool, there may not be enough sunbeds during the day. The pools are clean, warm, lots of lifeguards.
Animation: excellent guys-animators, international team, there are Ukrainians, French, and Georgians. Guys are fun, arrange games on the beach, in the pool too, in the evening dance show programs, there were Latin dances, and oriental, and international show, it is very interesting. 23.00 there is a disco near the beach. For children there is a children's club, in the evening also animation, will not be bored.
Territory: well-groomed, beautiful lawns, constantly cleaned, a lot of flowers, greenery.
I want to really share with you one big drawback. There are a lot of local Arabs with lots of children. They don't have a culture. In the dining room climb without a queue, collect themselves mountains of food, in the evening in the sea crowded near the stairs, so to go and get out of the sea is sometimes problematic. The kids are very noisy. At first we were very angry, then resigned, yet people also pay. All hotels are sadly so.
Overall, the hotel is nice, comfortable, we all loved it, so I recommend it. I hope my review will be useful, I wrote purely my opinion, at least the truth, believe it — whether you don't :)
