I had the pleasure of having breakfast here, it was so good I can back for dinner. Wonderful attentive staff with amazing food. Highly recommend.

Very tasty steaks and our personal highlight is always the extremely tasty Kaiserschmarrn with apple compote.
It is also recommended to go for breakfast there. You sit there beautifully, right at the marina!

It was just perfect. The meat (surf&turf) was great, sallad very fresh and my friends loved the saus. Service was very good and friendly.

First we was so lucky cause Mr. Moeen ckecked us in and he was so friendly and helpful, facilitated all our requests and responded our needs, breakfast has so many varities that suites all tastes, the overall environment was marvellous, beach was exciting, we felt that every place there was only for us, walking by the marina side was unforgetable, Wifi service is perfect all over El Gouna, it was the first time for us to visit Hurghada and El Gona specifically, staff are welcoming and doing their job properly, I really wish All Egypt to be like El gona♥️♥️♥️

Very cosy pub. Here you can take indoors or out of place. The staff are incredibly friendly, and even funny. The food was great! The price-performance ratio is incredible. All in all, highly recommended. We would like to thank you once again for the great evening.

We loved this place. The staff are amazingly nice and friendly. Adel & Mohamed work hard to make sure every guest are happy and satisfied. Their spirit and sense of humor are very hard to find anywhere in this world. We recommend this place. The best.

Wonderful place, wonderful staff, wonderful location. Open only a short time we found this place with excellent reviews, and they were correct. Very warm and helpful. Excellent communication prior to our stay. Breakfast was buffet style of fresh cut meats, cheeses, fruit etc. The rooms are true clean.

What a beautiful hotel, The main thing that makes this is the beautiful rooms with lots of special touches. Then there is the view of the marina from the breakfast room. And then there is the fabulous breakfasts. And then the great tips and knowledge from the reception team on where to go, All the good reviews are all true. Go there! We will go again one day. Great Location and Staff! We are a family of 4 who stayed here for 2 nights! the staff are the best. They went out of their way to help even when I was sick they offered some hot tea! The location is perfect and right in the middle of everything,. We enjoyed our stay here!

Good location, good value for money We stayed five nights at the hotel. Very good location, Good breakfast. There were fresh vegetables, The service of the hotel staff is pleasant, at the reception and the restaurant. The room is spacious enough for two, highly recommended.

What a fantastic place to eat and amazing customer service. Karim and his whole team are lovely. We usually have the Captains Brochette dish which is steak on skewers with grilled veg. It’s lovely. Karim has made us feel so welcome and we have got to know him and his team well. Can’t wait to come back!

Great restaurant, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food! We tried the carpaccio, the mixed grill, the dryaged steak and the surf&turf. All excellent, the meat as well as the side dishes. Our waiter, Alaa, merits a particular mention, thumbs up all the way. We’ll be back next year.

Amazing Hotel a beautiful view to the Marina, Excellent Service This is more than a three star hotel, luxurious hotel really worth it to go. Placed in the Marina, a breakfast buffet with a magical view. The service is friendly and professional for real problem. The man for special support is Marco, he clarified some thing and solved my problems form the agency. Thank you all so much. I still love to come back.

Update from last visit in December 2017 to new visit March 2018 now I can't recommend the captain anymore. First room assignment was directly about bartender, there is not to think of sleep. Even if the music is quiet, the wooden windows of the bass are still rattling, so any room with 30 numbers does not matter whether on the first or second floor.
I then got the room again in December and was able to see that they still did not fix any shortcomings from December. Specifically, the toilet dribbled still, the electrical problem on TV (typical current sizzle when the TV is moving) still existed. Sorry, but I'm used to ElGouna better.
The receptionist was always good at it, but overall this is no longer my hotel.
I'll wait to see how the Turtles will, otherwise AliPasha.

Rooms are very small, also as EZ is to me with 2 suitcases (dive luggage) too little.
In the evening it was a bit noisy, but on the other side at the front of the bar. Especially on Fridays it is easy until 3 o'clock the night.
Staff very friendly and motivated.

Captain's Inn is an excellent hotel of this class… extremely clean. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast area is spacious and one of the best in the marina I have experienced. Fresh fruit (oranges, apples, and bananas) in addition to all the other hot and cold items. I actually stayed here twice in the same month and both rooms were so beautiful. I'll be back to this place and highly recommend to others when in the area.

Always welcoming This hotel is always welcoming, from front staff to restaurant and management to cleaning staff. The rooms are always clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant is exceptional with a great wine list to match. I highly recommend this hotel to both business and traveling guests.

Ideal spot in El Gouna situated in the middle of the marina. Hotel is clean and tidy and staff are helpful. There is an excellent choice of food in the restaurant. It is two minutes away from the town centre for shopping. The bar is lively and has a life band events at week ends. The area around is relaxing in the day time.

A great find in the heart of El Gouna We loved the Hotel Captain's Inn — the location can't be beat! We had a spacious room for 2 with beautiful views and wonderful service and hospitality from the staff. Our room had all of the conveniences we could hope for and my daughter loved the breakfast service every day! We will definitely plan a return stay on our next visit!

Believe everything you read about this charming Hotel. We so enjoyed our stay there and I hope to return. The location is perfect, our room was lovely and we had a terrace! WOW. The staff is wonderfully patient and helpful (don't think any of them ever sleep). Wish I could of stayed longer.

Have taken a fantastic breakfast at a good price several times as a guest of another hotel. Atmosphere right at the marina just awesome. Food and staff super and very friendly. Recommended at any time.

I only gave them 1 star because I had to choose a star rating but they don't even deserve the one star. I booked this hotel through one of the agents on trip advisor and I am an american but I was inviting some Egyptian friends. After booking the hotel online, the hotel requested only couple days before my actual stay to know the citizenship of all the people staying in the room, after I gave them this information they decided that they will have to increase the price of the stay triple the price that I agreed to pay through the agent. I was left in a position were I wasn't able to get a refund nor was I able to stay there because they increased the price triple any other hotel. The main issue that I am having with the hotel is the discrimination between their own citizens and Americans this is really disgraceful. Will never consider this hotel and it will be my personal mission to make everyone aware of their disgraceful practices. I always book through trip advisor for family and friends from all nationalities and never received this sort of discrimination behavior from any other hotel.

A nice hotel located on the marina. Marina view rooms are amazing. The view from the balcony is worth it. Breakfast is good, steak is good however we didn't like the pasta. Rooms are quite small but cozy.

Overpriced cocktails, 7 euros for a Coktail I find too high. And there is still the alcohol from Egypt inside nothing with imported alcohol.

We stayed at the Captain's Inn and the first thing we liked was the view to the Marina. We got upgraded to the Marina Suite, which was nice and had an amazing balcony overlooking the marina itself. We didn't like the fact that the hotel's outdoor bar is just under the rooms, so we could listen to the music. The bathroom and shower were small. Breakfast was OK. My main complaint is the service. We had slow service both at the bar and at the front desk. They seemed lazy and uninterested.

Very courteous staff, nice location, decent Breakfast, rooms with lagoon view recommended, very clean, technique and furniture could once again be renewed, but is still ok, like to come again!

Nice hotel, am here to kiting the 5th. Have recommended hotel always further. Since 2012 the nightclub loca loca the night but makes the day. Am not liked but this is intolerable.
