Words can’t explain. The view of the pyramids was amazing. Every morning was a breath taking view of the last remaining ancient wonder of the world. Highly recommended for any length of a stay in Cairo.

Beautiful place, very friendly and accommodating staff and the best part is the amazing view of the pyramids. We love this place!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We stayed in one of the bungalows and absolutely loved it. Hotel staff provided top notch service! The restaurants and bars in the hotel were very inviting. I definitely recommend you patronize this hotel when visiting Cairo!

My wife and I stayed there for a couple of nights. We were happy with the location. There was a view of pyramids from outside of the hotel

Excellent location.

We had a lovely time at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room and food was excellent. The rooms are spacious and clean although I would recommend they get the carpet cleaners in to clean the bedroom carpets.

Hi guys, I am zahiir, stayed for three nights (16th to 19th august) in movenpick hotel. Totally disappointed with the service provided considering the 5* hotel. No toothpaste, no kettle in the room, Even if you call nobody come for laundry service, no socket point to charge the mobile. The worst part is that the person at reception asked 750 Eg. Pound against the bill of 706 Eg. Pound on checkout at 1.30am on 19th august. And also at first instant not giving printout of bill by saying that printer is not working.

Very well located, it is possible to see the pyramids from the pool area of the hotel, really stunning! Staff, restaurants and shops are also very good!

Have been to the hotel twice in a week. At the first race settled in a terribly dirty bungalow. I've never seen such dirt in my life. A layer of dust thick in the finger. The pillows are covered with a layer of something dirty and sticky. On the floor hair shreds. Toilet in ficalia. I was terrified. I'm just not talking about the rest. And then there's the one used. The neighborhood is just terrible. Pyramids are nearby, but to reach them is just scary and dangerous for life. Everyone's sobering the tip. And like a minnimum of 5 euros. Breakfast is good. There were almost no frocks. After a little scandal, we were moved to the suite. I thought it would be cleaner. It was cleaner. But the walls are somehow covered with greasy, kitchen corner in an antisantial state. It's better not to open the fridge. Cleaner only in the bathroom. At our second condition, we were apparently remembered and put in a bungalow much cleaner than they were before. However, I had to ask for a vacuum cleaner and vacuum the room myself. Shreds of hair at the corners of the conot. The vacuum cleaner barely worked.
The pool is clean. The food is delicious. The laundry is of very poor quality. Do not add air conditioning when cleaning. The food stains haven't been washed away.
I strongly do not advise you to stay in this hotel. And in general in the area of Giza.

We spent 4nights last week. The house keeping are very bad, The reception are not very much helpful, after four times complaint about house keeping, we have to call our Egyptian travel agent to make them understand the problem. They are not well in English language. As a International hotel, the hotel management should train them in English language properly.

It's a 3 star. For this better the Mercury. Cheaper and better rooms. Not recommended. Only good pool and that includes internet. Not really recommended.

Magistral, but everywhere around it is very dirty. It's sad.
The ancient Egyptians made the pyramids, those of today do not even have sidewalks. It's sad!

Nice Hotel located in front of the new Egyptian museum and overlooking the pyramids of Cheops and Chephens. Breakfast but with local products not international. Very heavy Pizza eaten only because after 8 days we lacked an Italian taste but cmq is not up to the Italian pizzas. The staff were also very helpful.

New section is preferred over older area. Staff are attentive. Very close to pyramids and across the road from the new Cairo Museum. Could use a heated pool but overall a wonderful experience.

Do not use the taxi service; they promise to show all the site when booking but then the day they claim things are closed. All to find out later they were open. Also the taxi driver kept stopping at random shops, clearly he was getting a comission, which was very annoying. One taxi driver in particular was very rude. Overall the Hotel was fine. Staff were friendly — Not sure if it's a 5 star hotel; I feel this should be reviewed.

Beautiful resort with pool and view of the pyramids. In front of the Future Museum of History of Cairo.
Varied meals with very nice presentation of the menu and very good taste.
Only negative, staff not always pleasant. Unfortunately as some are very nice and helpful.

Hotel has 2 km from the site of the pyramids in the whole c is suitable for good will apart from the sellers a little intrusive and services (taxi) much more expensive than if you take a side on the road.
Do not take the services recommended by the staff of the hotel who takes his commission and makes travalle their friends…

Good place for some days in Cairo, very close to the pyramids. Friendly hotel staff, good Food. We had a garden room, was a bit shabby and not well cleaned. I would suggest a pyramid view room, think it is more comfortable.

Comfortable beds, large rooms, possibility of smoking in a balcony, assorted meals with ample hours, friendly and prepared staff, bar open until late.

This hotel has two parts, one part of the building and the other with a few bungalows in an area of 10 by 10. These are completely different to the main building. They lack maintenance, are dirty. Walls maintenance-free etc… check out the photos.

Excellent place to enjoy the close proximity to the pyramids. Although a bit far from the center. A very good cuisine.

My room was a bungalow in the older part of the hotel. No view but the private patio was nice. Two large pools, beautiful but both outdoors and in February it was too cold to swim. The exercise facility was difficult to find. I had to ask several staff members before anyone could point me in the right direction. The rooftop patio and bar with view of pyramids was also hard to find. Once I did, it appeared to be permanently shut down with all furniture removed. The included breakfast buffet in the Orangerie was good. My dinner at the Pyramids Steakhouse was so-so.

It didn't start off well. But they compensated and made me feel like a million $'s. Anytime and highly recommended.

Very clean hotel with a well kept outdoor facilities. These include two pools, one of which is located directly at the restaurant in a normal design, while the adventure Pool was created at the hotel. From the hotel balcony you have a beautiful view of the Giza pyramids. Moreover, the hotel is double secured, outside by the police and inside by the security. Each bag, hand luggage etc is illuminated and the persons must be through a metal detector. So a safety standard like at the airport.

Overall — Not a five star hotel (it is rated five stars by the Egyptian Ministry of Travel). Stayed in the cabanas. Food — Breakfast was actually pretty fair, and as a result ranked this place 3 stars for me instead of a lower value. The breakfast boxes were not very good. Rooms — Looks and feels like it was fairly nice when new, but there are some deferred maintenance issues. Money Changing — Hotel crew offered to work with their bellboy to exchange money, which was most appreciated. Finding small change is exceedingly hard in Egypt for reasons which I never understood — and tips are a must everywhere. ATM machine on site (there are two) can malfunction — happened to another group I was traveling with (not me) who informed management to look into it. Three days later they still hadn't heard back from the ATM company. As a suggestion, the hotel should coordinate with the ATM company to provide faster service if they're going to have their facilities onsite given that they are hosting international travelers.

Very comfortable hotel. Very good breakfast. Friendly & helpful staff. View of the pyramid from many rooms. But outside the hotel there is nothing much to do. Main city life of Cairo cannot be enjoyed or sensed at all from this place.

Travelled in 2015. Stayed here for two nights. The room/bathroom was quite run down. Booked for a double bed and got two single beds merged together. Breakfast was good. Staff was still very friendly and helpful even though it took a while for them to sort out our room upon arrival.

Now I can recommend this hotel… one person with bad character versus 10 staff with impeccable customer service… special mention to young Hisham of room service… way to go Cairo Pyramids Hotel.

Very nice hotel, located in the area of Giza in Cairo. From the window of the room you could see the pyramids. Offers a good breakfast and dinner type bufetey has a swimming pool.

The hotel has a morbid charm. Old but clean. The staff are well trained, friendly, helpful without being intrusive. Breakfast and dinner each as a buffet top.

Beautiful holiday spot. Recommended for those who want a homely setting. Nice pool bar! And you can see one of the Pyramids from the Hotel.

Should be renovated again. Food is ok except for breakfast … but this is rarely good in Egypt.

A very good hotel and our room had a stunning view of the pyramids. What a sight to which to wake up! It's not top notch, but reasonably clean and the staff are friendly. The food (breakfasts and two dinners) is pretty good. A faulty light was fixed the next day. Facilities are generally good, but the pool a bit cold for us older folk. It is a haven from the chaotic traffic outside. It would be improved with quieter air conditioning, which was very noisy.

Absolutely the best place to start your visit to Egypt. The view of the great pyramids from your room is simply amazing! The service and food was great and the pool area was very inviting!

Stayed for three nights from 26th sep till 29th sep in room 604. Good rooms with tea and coffee maker and two bottles of mineral water, good service provided by housekeeping, concierge and restaurant, lavish and good buffet breakfast, helpful staff in free Wi-Fi. Has an atm best thing is that breakfast is served at 5:30 am Located close to the pyramids of Giza.

Good reception and the place is not bad, although compared to our standards the cleanliness of the rooms is not optimal. Apart from that the hotel is nice and cozy.

Compared to Italian standards, it is still a good hotel to stay in. We had a family room where no air conditioning worked, so they immediately upgraded us to a suite in the new building. View on the pyramids impeccable in both rooms.

I made a reservation on 30 jun 2017, found that the bed is broken (very loud voices come out when you lay on it) I called the reception to report it; they sent a guy who said he must call the maintenance to fix it… an hour later, a guy came and told me that no one from the mainteance team is available and that they will change the room for me… after transferring all my stuff to the other room, someone called and said that I should get out cause it is the wrong room… they transferred me to a third room to find that it has a double bed instead of king bed! So they transferred me to a fourth room in a different floor than the one I wanted to find after a few minutes that half of the room light is not working! I went to eat dinner they said that dinner is for one person although I paid for two! I woke up in the morning on the loud noise of my upper floor neighbours bed making horrible creeking noises… probably their bed was broken too. Dears… this was a horrible experience all in all and will never come back to your hotel again.

Nice and clean hotel. Food is excellent and service is good as well. We can see the pyramids from our hotel room :-) Wifi is free and strong. I could always upload photos I took during the day when I get back to the hotel. They have a nice swimming pool but they usually run out of towels by the pool during busy or maybe on fully booked days.

I've been three nights in this hotel and I was disappointed a lot. The rooms are very dirty and old. The TV looks very bad, there are few channels, and none English. I would not recommend it to anyone. You do not have a view to the piràmides. Lucky they have free Wi-Fi.

It is a hotel that structurally tiede all to be 5 stars, but it has details of maintenance and cleaning is bad. The attention of the staff is impeccable, very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was ok but would recommend more variety of fruits.

Good location. Pyramids view.

It is clear that after staying in the Mena house despite all the amenities and some advantage from the hotel, as the evening entertainment, falls short, however I very much liked the freedom that gives division spaces between the different buildings. I chose it because I loved the hotel Mövenpick Petra and far from wrong, the Group felt very comfortable. Is very acceptable.

The hotel is great to visit the pyramids, there are also rooms overlooking the pyramids. The staff is friendly and the food is tasty, the two pools invite you to relax.

What kind of hotel doesn't have hot water for shower?!?!?! Reception was rude when asked for help. I mean even most cheap hostels have hot waters. It defeats the whole purpose of a hotel if a guest can't even take a hot shower, especially since Cairo is so sandy. Furious beyond words.

Great resort and staff. Perfect location to even see the Great Pyramids from the property. Some rooms have views of the pyramids when the skies are clear. The hotel is near the location of the new Cairo museum. I would definitely stay here again. The resort has at least 3 restaurants. You can order room service from anyone, or all three and the service is prompt and the food is very good. The hotel staff is very friendly and eager to clean your room at 10AM.

A few years ago I was a guest at this hotel I found everything or almost everything was ok but housekeeping of the rooms were insuficienti … But everything has been exceeded when released from the tree appeared to me the most beautiful sight in the world …! That is, the Majesty of the pyramids … one of the wonders that everyone in the world should know …!. I hope to return when the situation of Egypt will be improved because of the terrorism which strongly penalizes the tourism sector … An Italian suffering sore d Egypt! Goodbye Earth d Egypt … Jnshiallah.
