This hotel is amazing! Staff are very pleasant and go above and beyond to make sure your needs are taken care of. Would highly recommend the new sushi restaurant Chef Lawrence and Mahmood made me feel very welcome and the sushi was some of the best I've ever had.

Quite accommodating, more of an economical hotel. Being used to the Hilton I didn't enjoy it as much but the service was nice and the servers did their best. The spa was very nice and I really enjoyed the deep tissue massage. The dinner you could order was very good. I recommend the penne with tomato sauce.

The hotel location is fantastic, staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is very old and need comprehensive refurbishment, it is not five stars in my opinion. They don't allow personal food or external meals from outside, which is somehow an old hotels rules need to be rolled out, they have to clearly explain that in all reservations websites.

I recommend, the hotel is not considered bad, the room is cleaned well, food as everywhere in Egypt, hungry will not remain, but there is no abundance, a good pool, in the summer people do not speak much, you need to know English, used ironing and washing — things brought quickly, everything is in excellent condition, there are no claims.

Worst Hotel Experience In More Than 25 Years of International Travel Ordered some food from outside the hotel and was prevented from bring it in this evening. First I was told that there was information in the room that states that food and beverages cannot be brought in. When I asked to see a copy of the document, the Night Manager could not produce it. I then explained that I had brought in food the night before and he basically called me a liar, despite the fact that I pro…ved with an app that food was delivered to the hotel. Then as I am standing at the entrance to the hotel waiting for the food to be allowed in, a big sign is brought out and placed prominently at the entrance saying that food and beverages could not be brought in from outside. Apparently, it had not been there since we checked in two nights before because it was 'being cleaned'. After more than 30 minutes of waiting, he appeared and showed me a bit of small print on the registration document that stated that food could not be brought in. Of course there was nothing visible anywhere else that could inform or remind guests. In the end, of course, no food was allowed in, but it took more than 30 minutes of him scrabbling around to find the paperwork. When I asked why they didn't make this rule clear to all guests (other guests' shopping was also confiscated) he had no answer. He would not allow us to check out early with a refund for the unused night, nor did he reimburse us for the food bought.

Reasonably good place with fantastic views of the pyramids. Rooms are a little old and need to be updated, but nonetheless, they are very clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet is a treat, however, I would not recommend having other meals in the hotel, rather explore local joints which are within a 5 to 10 minute walk from the hotel. Because of the popularity of the hotel, it does get very crowded and there is always a slight chaos in the reception area. But rooms are secluded and peaceful.

A bit dated, but incredible service, and excellent customer care. Our air went out, but the hotel took great care of us and got us into another room right away. Breakfast buffet was very good for an Egyptian hotel. Additionally, the view of the pyramids from the room is unbeatable. While you're here, make sure to save time to enjoy the pool.

The most important detail I liked is the view from the room of pyramids and swimming pool together! Good service, sometimes too much gentler only for tips. Some staff need to be kindness even without tips. Tips can come after that the guest is satisfied. Prices about trips are too much high! Okay that we are tourist but to pay 20 times more the real costs of a trip is not good. To improve the fresh food and to ask satisfaction about client in during the staying. 5 stars because of the relaxing and pleasure place it is!

At 800 meters from the pyramids, beautiful pools overlooking the pyramids themselves. Bar and Grill active from lunch time to midnight, by the pool, restaurants in Lebanese and international hotels. Nice and spacious rooms. Very clean. Very good breakfast A beautiful place to have a way to relax and visit the complex of the Sphinx and the pyramids. The Egyptian museum is about 40 minutes away by car, as there is always an intense traffic. All day available reception bank and ATM inside the hotel.

Decent hotel if you are here to visit the pyramids of Giza and surrounding areas. But like any hotel in this part of the world, services surprise you. The Egyptian people and staff will smother and delight you with their caring and politeness. But don't plan on taking a hot shower in the mornings… Hot water is a hit or a miss. :-). Once we figured this out, we showered before going to bed every night!

It is a bit old but nice and comfy and quite good for this price point. Breakfast could be better. Hotel lacks some amenities like hair dryer, slippers, etc but not a big deal if you are prepared. The pyramid view is very good. Overall recommended if you don’t have very high expectations.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Le Meridien Pyramids for 3 nights. The room was very clean, staff was helpful, and the pool area with view of Giza pyramids in the background was to die for. The hotel security was an added bonus and the close proximity to the pyramids was the best part. Would definitely stay again!

Great hotel, big bedrooms, stunning views. The staff is really helpful, we had some minor bathroom problems and we were given a new room immediately. Facilities are incredible, try their spa. Breakfast superb!

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. The room was okay, clean and well looked after every day, just as expected but it didn't come with much. Breakfast was okay as well, a lot of variety but had a feel of canteen food. The pool was very nice.

Beautiful Hotel… it is safe, very good the attention of its staff and excellent the kitchen. Besides having a plus that is to be near the pyramids and be able to see them from the pool that is incredible.

5 star Hotel (NL) at the foot of the pyramids that are very much in line. The rooms are spacious and (overall) well maintained. The buffet has a wide choice of foods that vary every day.
And especially the outside is very pretty. The pool with bar and view of the pyramids is beautiful.
The staff are friendly and responsive.
I had a very good stay at this hotel.
(If you are booking as part of an organized stay, consider planning a drink budget. Since tap water is not potable, it takes bottled water to brush your teeth and drinks are not included in the buffet.
Don't forget to negotiate your shop purchases.

Open the window and see the Pyramids… it's priceless. Rooms very nice. The biggest hit I did not speak to anyone at reception in Spanish.

The Meridien is a great hotel in the immediate vicinity of the pyramids of Giza. The rooms are clean and of high standard. However, something broadly the whole.
Service and staff top. The prices in the shops and the hotel are largely impeccable.
Equally good are pool and breakfast. Pool area is very nice. Maintained. A recreational opportunity for a strenuous Cairo stay.

The staff are adorable but the rooms are dilapidated and do not match the stars. The Pyramid view room is still very nice.

Luxury Hotel with spacious and cozy rooms. Luxurious and large entrance with bar. In the stairs leading to the rooms you can admire a tub of water that shoots currents of whirlpool (you can't go there). It has a huge swimming pool with a small bar in the center where you can admire the pyramids of Giza. Nice staff Average price considering that it is close to the pyramids, in downtown Cairo and luxury. You can book guides who will show you the beauties of Cairo in one day in a bus. To have a trip to Egypt scheduled you can turn to the agency Memphis Tour (from there you have a chance to also make the cruise on the Nile and then sea to Marsalam or Berenice. Now in recent years Egypt has become safe. Council.

I visited this establishment to meet a friend. It's a large & lovely place. It has a bank on premises. There are three restaurants that are first rate. They also have shisha the only problem closes around 12:00 a. M.

We stayed a few days ago. Very nice hotel, pool and spacious rooms overlooking the pyramids!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Ahmed Shadad. To return without hesitation!

Clean rooms and nice staff. We left one of our bags in the security check and they helped us hold it. It's nice to know lost and found is still honest. They deal with big tour groups but they manage to keep the place very neat and safe.

Very good hotel, excellent view to the pyramids of Giza. Incompetence in the room reservation from Buenos Aires, but the Galaxy tourism company solved it quickly and the next day I got the room I ordered, yet working. A unique experience of the company: Galaxy TOUR. I recommend it to everyone.

Very good Hotel. Breakfast was very good. Spa somewhat neglected the water area. I recommend the refurbished rooms as the hotel has half the refurbished building and the other half does not. Staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very secure. Totally recommended.

The food is so tasty. I actually liked everything I ate except the creme caramel it was literally tasteless. The ballrooms are small somehow. But the chairs are not so comfy. The parking rate per hour is EGP 10 which is fine compared to other rates in other hotels. The hotel is easily found using the map and/or the GPS. The location is very nice and the view is stunning.

Indeed the view here on the Pyramids is fantastic. Upon checking we where upgrade to the suite, which was good, but not great. Breakfast was good with lots of options and friendly helpfully staff. I believe this hotel has a lot of weddings going on as we had seen two on the two days we were here. Best part of the hotel is definelty the gym, which is huge and very well equipped. Would recommend staying here to visit the Pyramids but not spend your whole cairo trip here.

Live an unpleasant, no feeling of being served.
Booked a big bed room, gave the standard room, said there is a big bed room will notice, the result lived two weeks have no news clearly has been living, during two times is considered to check out, also do not sweep health, room card can not be used. Two people live only to a bottle of water, call the past to ask, said is the hotel regulations. Stayed in all these years the hotel met for the first time.
A few days even a bottle of water is gone, there was a call to the past to ask, said will be sent up, but also I think more, did not appear at all. The hotel is a large, batch of Chinese tourists. To tell you the truth, the details of the hotel service is not as good as China Express hotel. To be honest, let's just say so much, and I don't know how other people's so good comments came about.

I loved this hotel! While it's pretty standard looking as far as decor and set up goes, the Pyramid views are unrivaled! It was surreal to be able to sit on the balcony and watch the pyramids at sunset with a glass of wine. The hotel also includes a large breakfast, that has something for everyone. The spa is nice, and there's a free gym which is awesome too. It's definitely the best hotel you'll find for the price, and honestly, probably even nicer than some of the more expensive hotels in the area!

Excellent views, huge rooms, soft beds, decent breakfast buffet and delicious dinner buffet. Both buffets have a ton of different choices. There are often large crowds in the lobby and restaurants, which is to be expected. The sauna was also excellent! It contains 3 different pools of varying temperatures, and clean, modern locker rooms. The service was prompt and pleasant in every aspect.

Hotel Spa 2 steps from the Pyramids!

Must say that this hotel is absolutely fantastic. All the service and shops you need. Amazing and tasteful. The staff is extremely kind and service minded. Something was wrong with the booking our agency had done, so they upgraded us for free after they asked us if it was ok!? We got a room by the pool with direct view over the pyramids. The food was good and tasty. The buffet was good, especially the sweets after the main course. (Excuse me. English isn’t my first language) I can most certainly recommend it. We have been travelling the same way in China, Peru and Jordan and slept on five star hotels and they are not close to what this hotel was like. I have read the one star review and I think it is ridiculous to give the hotel one star because they only offered one water bottle. Maybe she was a difficult customer. As you treat others they will treat you.

Alor if I could meter 0 star I would have done! The people are unpleasant personal multilingual sa speaks that Arabic and English… We are staying hang in the elevator people to guide us the way the price of departure 93euro we arrive he asks US 150euro at night I recommend it really People! Fortunately we are staying that a only night!

We stayed 3 nights in mid october 2017. Breakfast buffet was excellent, egg chef and chicken sausages, fresh fruit, pastries and real butter! Our room had the Pyramids view that we booked. The pools and Spa were 5 star. We mostly ate and drank in the main bar area. Prices were fair and Egyptian food was the best choice. Reception staff were very patient with me, thanks for a wonderful stay. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit the Pyramids.

This place is so is so nice to stay. Is just only 2 miles away from Pyramids with fantastic view. Service are nice same as the room. Breakfast and dinner food are awesome.

This resort was definitely in the four star category. I was fortunate to have one of the newer rooms in the pyramid view wing. The views were great and the grounds superb. However, this is definitely a tourist trap hotel, the buffet dinner was okay but breakfast was absolutely dismal, no quality selection of eggs or meats and I was seated at a dirty table. Staff overall were friendly and helpful.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Definitely worth the price. Really comfy, amazing service, you can meet people from almost all over the world here.

Historic location but bad management. The front desk personnel are good and welcoming. The swimming pool personnel are frustrated and way below standard service or even accepted levels of services. The workers themselves are the main sources of noise and annoying speeches. You probably will hate the place for this reason alone. You will forget the fact that it is Le Meridian.

Being part of Le Meridien group, I expected quality room and service, but nothing of that sort! 1. I was taken to my room through service lift 2. The door did not lock 3. Food for vegetarian was horrible (pasta and veg curry was raw and just untouchable) 4. The room was dirty and dusty 5. The house keeping did not replenish the complementary tea / toiletries every day. Used empty coffee pack was again stocked.

The grounds themselves are amazing but the front desk staff and managers can be very rude. It's all about the dollar. They are nice as long as you don't need anything extra. When I checked in they quoted a different price from what was confirmed and got mad when I wanted to pay the quoted price. They made me pay for early check-in but my friend who checked in with me didn't have to pay for her room. They also made me pay at check in and didn't let her pay until check out. Everything here is wildly inconsistent. I don't know of it's discrimination or horrible or no knowledge of what they're doing.

A nice hotel with modern rooms. Bathrooms are good standard for a 4 star. But it's super busy all the time. And despite having 6-7 people at the reception desk it can take forever to get checked in. Our water shut down in the morning and they have a weird credit system where you have to top up before you can add anything to your account. This must have once been a really good hotel but in my opinion really let's down the brand. You have some views of the pyramids from out side the hotel and from a corner of the pool. The pool is okay but imagine the number of people using it. Breakie is good with a good selection of food and drink. No omlete station though. If your looking for something mid-range then this is your best option.

It is a very nice hotel, breakfast is rich and if you're lucky you get prepared a fresh fried egg. The Wi-Fi is free in the lobby. We had a cheaper room, which was very nice. The only shortcoming, the furniture and doors were filthy you should really clean. The bed linen and the towels were but clean. The bathroom was I was not properly cleaned. The carpet had must be vacuumed better.
Was perhaps due to the Ramadan and the maid was too tired?
We are the hotel but book again, but next time a more luxurious room direction pool!

Had the most beautiful view of the pyramids of giza. Central location. Wonderful breakfasts and yummy drinks at the bars and by the super large pool with another view of the pyramids so it feels like you are in a desert oasis. The food, if you buy, is very inexpensive, same with the Wi-Fi. The spa, it's just, oh my gawd! Wonderful place in an amazing city!

Great location and great room. We stayed with for 3 nights in this hotel. Had a pool view room. I would recommend asking for a pyramid room, we didn't get one but the pool view was also good. The morning breakfast was very good and filling. We didn't check out the pools but they looked like they would be great for a dip during the hotter times of the year. Especially, with the swim up bar! Room Tip: Pyramid view.

Perfect service and facilities. Always remember to bribe everyone to ensure you have the best experience. I had the best room with the best view of the pyramids. Best food and drinks service. Car park was awkward.

I loved this hotel located in the area of the pyramids. We stayed three nights in the past month of April in one of the rooms with views of the pyramids and waking up to those views is simply spectacular. The rooms are spacious and very elegant and clean, with a safe and a kettle to make coffee or tea. The breakfast is maybe a bit simple for a 4* but correct and varied. About the staff I can not put any paste, it is simply fantastic, attentive, friendly, and will make you feel like a king. A lot of security at the entrance with access controls, dogs and guards 24 hours. Has two restaurants in addition to the lobby, lounge sisha show, bank for currency exchange and shops, in addition to the spa and a swimming pool with spectacular views. In the reception area there is free Wi-Fi, although not very good. 100% recommended.

" This was true in the Dinging rooms and the Spa. I wish to particularly thank Mr. Mohammed, in the Spa who gave me a first rate massage. Further, I thank Mr. Moustafa my guide to the wonders of Giza and Mr. Adel our driver, and Mr. Reda the Concierge. Wo my God is almost beautifull hotel is number one.

One of the better 2 star hotels that I have stayed at. Requested Non smoking King bed for 3 night stays. Got King bed but a smoking room with a view of the back of the lobby with a 2" high tip of the pyramid view that SMELLED OF BODY ODOR AND STALE TOBACCO!. Next 2 night got non smoking but 2 double beds and view of parking lot, old thread worn room with fabric on the couch so dirty I was afraid to sit on it. Standard answers at front desk is "we will fix it tomorrow" BUT TOMORROW NEVER CAME!. They just say that to get you out of the way. Le Meridian Pyramids does not care about tourist and is riding on the view of the pyramids. You would be much better to stay at a better Hotel and take a tour to the pyramids. Main dinning room buffet is expensive and mediocre at best. Food in Mexican restaurant was very good and not busy BUT music was extremely loud, which they turned down at our request.

Very good hotel I love this.

This is a fabulous hotel, and so close to the pyramids. It is pretty awesome to get up in the morning and look out your window or lay out by the pool and see them. The buffet was excellent, wide variety and delicious. They went above and beyond on service. Wake up calls — you will get 3 whether you want it or not! The rooms were very nicely decorated, beds were very comfortable. No bed bugs! Even though you are in the middle of Giza it is quiet. This is a very popular wedding facility as well and we were lucky enough to see one. We will stay there again.
