I stayed at this hotel last week and it is very modern and has everything you need. However, it is extremely noisy! Our room looked out to the mosque across the road. We could hear traffic coming and going all night which included constant car horns and were woken up by noise coming from the mosque at 3am. I would stay here again but I would ask for a different location in the building.

One of the BEST IHG Hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff is magnificent! The food is great, attention to detail and safety of guests is first rate. We love this place!

Friendly staff, quick check in, helpful concierge. Location next to city star mall. Comfy beds and pillows. Good Wi-Fi, nice and delicious breakfast full of local dishes as well as international dishes. Good service.

Friendly staff and helpful Rooms' furniture are quite old and the colors are bit depressing? Some rooms' view is not really good (pay attention to that when you book your room) You can smoke in a non smoking room if you opened the window? The breakfast was good and service was perfect (except sometimes we had to wait 15-20 min to get our omelets! )

Being a IHG gold member, this is one of the best Holiday Inn Ive stayed in! The location is great connected to city stars mall. This is one of the posh areas of Cairo. The ambience is upmarket and chic with a modern and contemporary architecture. Staff is friendly and helpful to all your needs. Once when the hotel was full, I got a suite upgrade on arrival. That was a pleasant surprise! The rooms are well maintained and you get a personalised welcome message on your TV screen once you enter. Cool feature! The buffet breakfast has a lavish spread consisting of Egyptian, Arabic and Continental cuisine. You have a live counter for eggs to order. The dishes are well prepared with right consistency of spices. Service is efficient but sometimes a bit understaffed. Room service is also satisfactory. Overall a memorable experience staying here!

The room window did not close well and there was a lot of noise coming from the street. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms large and comfortable, but not being able to reconcile the sleep prevents me from giving you better rating. Attentive that to enter the suitcases have to pass a security control. It's next to a big mall. Very comfortable.

I want to give a special mention to Karim, Wasif and the Concierge team who are all an absolute delight. The duty managers, and reception team are all brilliant they communicate well and just made me feel good about staying at this hotel. On entering the lobby area through a good but non intrusive security screening, you will find it very spacious and inviting, it's Cozy and homey. Attached to the Citystars shopping mega mall you have everything you could possibly want. The wonderful front office staff who are all lovely and pleasant gave us a very warm welcome on arrival, it was perfect and we were greeted as a valued Spire Elite IHG rewards club member. The rooms are fabulous, large and roomy with everything you could need, on entering you see the bright and lovely new and refurbished interiors, some of the nicest beds you'll find with the famous Holiday Inn pillow menu that you may request your favourite pillow type. A great bathroom and all the amenities you could need. Keep in mind this is not a 5 star Hotel, but they behave as it is, so my point Is, that it’s all well above expectations. Its all marvellous the staff are some of the most friendly you can find.

So far this is the best hotel I have visited a very competent staf luxurious rooms full service everything is top.

Good location right at the City Stars Mall, very courteous and attentive staff, hotel is new and rooms are comfy, had couple of drinks (red wine) at the ground floor coffee shop and shawarma it was good. Break fast at the lobby had a large variety of food and tasty too. Over all good experience.

It was an amazing stay where you will enjoy the same qualities of Intercontinental hotel. Room service is very good. They added an extra bed in the room in minutes. The bed has multiple grades of pillows according to firmness. Very soft, moderately soft and firm. You will enjoy the breakfast with fava beans cart. The dessert on breakfast was awesome. You can have hot falafel on demand. It's directly connected to city stars mall via Windows restaurant or Indera restaurant.

Good location. There is a good business center equipped with everything you need, swimming pool, gym, lounge area with bar and hookahs. Next to the hotel huge mall. The price for the stay was 70 USD/day with breakfast included (the restaurant is excellent). Although a year ago in Cairo lived in the "barn" for 60 USD.

Nice place, clean and good breakfast. Fairly high price at the bar with sometimes surprises equivalent to Parisian prices and similar server behavior. Amazing…
But especially big noise problem for rooms overlooking the street, very inadequate soundproofing, 2 nights wasted on 4 and no solution found during the stay. Avoid absolutely the first levels of the hotel if you want to sleep. Damage.

I have been there many times. I adore this hotel as it is so convenient, close to city stars mall, juice place, mini market and pharmacy. In addition, the staff are really kind, cooperative and polite. The most important thing is their perfect mattresses also rooms are clean and quite. Go to the East go to the West Holiday inn Cairo city stars is the best :)

It's great hotel it is much better than before, women crew of if waiters in the restraunt is a great idea I enjoyed their smile &hospitality very much.

My check in was blah. I don't know if Khalid just don't have a personality or if he just didn't feel like being at work. The lady from guest relations came over & she was very welcoming so I'm not sure if she noticed the look on my face or if that was standard procedure. Location was great. It was attached to Cairo City Stars Mall which is HUGE! Everything your heart desires is at your door step. The room was standard & the bed was hard. The street noise was unbearable. Lots of horn blowing & sirens. I was tired so eventually I dosed on off in spite of all the noise.

The staff was great one of my favorite hotels the bar and the restaurants and just wandering through the halls of the old building is amazing experience in itself Egyptian restaurant is delicious so go there with an appetite and let the waiter guide you ordering.

Holiday Inn cairo City Stars, is one of the best hotels in cairo. Hearty welcome to guests, wonderful and specular management. I recommend it to any vistors of cairo. We had wonderful time, magical feeling of staying there whenever we are in cairo. Thanks for the whole staff there.

Honestly it's one of the best and convenience hotels in Cairo in terms of location, friendly staff and management. I strongly recommend it to anyone who's looking at this level.

I've stayed here quite often. Its homey and the staff are friendly and reasonably competent. The Indian restaurant in the basement is pretty good. Rooms are a bit variable, this time mine smells of damp — I don't notice after a couple of minutes but if I was paying for myself I'd probably be annoyed On the plus, they serve beer in frosted glasses. So just be clear it's not the Intercontinental (round the corner) which is much more "grand hotel" but actually a but soulless.

Small reception area, rooms are very clean small but sufficient. Very close to City Stars Mall with a direct exit to the mall. For a short stay very good.

The rooms are a bit small. Liked the service at the Windows Rastaurant. It's within the neighbourhood of an expensive mall.

It eas unfortunate that I have had an experience that was not pleasant at the front desk, eventhough the team was trying to help. The place is convenient as it has a shopping mall and many facilities. Those seeking relaxation, views and open spaces are less likely to enjoy it.

A good hotel. The City Stars mall is very popular and conveniently close by. The rest of the surroundings are as drab as the whole of Cairo and so are the views from the room. Rooms are good, well-maintained and well furnished. Breakfast is good, with freshly baked meals. Security is a nuisance but I guess it must be so. On the terrace you can have a proper beer and a shisha if you wish.

Fine hotel but food was horrible.

Stayed between August 16 to 19. Lost my Rado watch costing $2000. Management response was very poor. Free advice not to leave your things outside.

I have been to this hotel 4 times, 2 out of the 4 I found item getting stollen from the room. Last October 2014, I lost 3 dress shirts and my macbook charger. This is the only place were you guarantee to have less weight leaving the hotel. Maybe not everyone find out about their losses, but I was leaving to a business trip and my shirts and laptop charger were really important. Intercontinental City Stars is much better at least you will not loose any of your valuable items.

Nice place, friendly stuff, beside the mall, and H501 is such an amazing bar indeed, above all prices is not to much, I think i'll make another visit next week.

It's ok for the price, don't expect much though, slow service, mediocre housekeeping, however very convenient location next to the mall and fairly close to the airport.

JY am UPEI 2 x. Very good only k the second 450 channels international television foix did not work! I called the front desk and they charged me for the call. Then once the magnetik door did not open, it was the freeze! but overall, it's good.

The friendliest staff in the world. This place feels like home.
