What a wonderful place! We came to this hotel after experiencing a terrible stay at Drake Inn and it seriously saved the rest of our vacation. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the hotel was very beautiful. Kirby at the front desk was wonderful and so understanding of our situation. And to our surprise she was actually just volunteering there so it wasn't like anyone was paying her to be nice and helpful! She got us in very quickly and did everything possible to make sure we had a good stay there. She went out of her way to email agencies about travel questions we had and was more than happy to answer all of our other questions. Because we arrived in the afternoon, the only available room was not cleaned and ready to go due to a late checkout. The cleaning lady had also gone home for the day. But to our surprise, the staff called her and she biked all the way to the hotel not even 10 minutes later and immediately had our room ready. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place, it was absolutely fantastic! After our horrible experience at Drake Inn it was extremely refreshing and we were so relieved. And not only that, but the price was actually less at Volcano Hotel. You really can't go wrong here. Aside from the great staff, the rooms are really nice and clean, its obvious that the hotel is well taken care of.
Very good, but feels a little unfinished, not always staff at reception and Wi-Fi isn't great etc but very friendly and clean and good otherwise.
