Excellent food, very friendly staff, beautiful designs, great views, cosy social area, a spa. In conclusion, the best place to relax for a night (or better, for more nights) after hiking! Also good to know that they employ local people and support local projects, such as the women´s handicraftshop. 100% recommended.

Best hostel in Quito. Super cozy, beautiful view in the mountains, fire place in the cabins. Such good food and nice stock of beer. Take advantage of the free yoga (with a view), jacuzzi, steam room and sauna (also with a view! ). Don't hesitate, stay here and plan more than 1 night. We wish we did!

The place is incredible, the food is delicious and the service is great. We had a fantastic time this weekend.

I loved it here! We went for two nights while exploring Ecuador and the Quilotoa loop. Although it was challenging to get to in our rental car it was worth the STUNNING drive. Staff is friendly and helpful — will go out of their way to help you. I was traveling w my boyfriend as a couple and we got a cabana — these come with a fireplace that staff will help you light that really change the mood of the night and help keep you warm in the mountains. This lodge helps educate its guests on the surrounding village and how big all of our impacts are there. The food was so fresh and well done! Loved it! We felt very safe there. The hostel dog Baloo is adorable, friendly, mild tempered. And there’s an alpaca in the back by the spa to visit. All in all highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in the area!

Exceptional hostel. Such a beautiful building and property. A really unique and warm experience to stay in a giant log cabin. The huge windows overlooking the valley were so beautiful! The food was delicious and the family style meal times made it really easy to socialise. The staff were all really kind. They were forgiving when we missed breakfast and whipped us up something which we were really grateful for. We enjoyed the lack of Wi-Fi and variety of activities available; board games, hot tub, yoga, instruments etc. The highlight of our stay was of course Baloo the Saint Bernard. Overall, couldn’t recommend Llullu llama highly enough! Absolutely loved it.

Probably the best hostel in 2 months of travelling in South America!

This is paradise for hikers and bikers. Next to dorms and private rooms they also offer a camping option for 12$ p. P. Including dinner an and breakfast and use of shower and spa area. The food is amongst the best I had in South America (they also have vegetarian and vegan options) and the community area is great. They don't have Wi-Fi but that makes it more fun to connect with other travelers, play some board games or play one of the guitars which are available as well.

A cozy place in the middle of the mountains, in the menu you will find products made in the community, it has cosy atmospheres with an architectural style that combines the old with the modern. In the cabins you can find fireplaces and all the comforts of a 5-star hotel.

Excellent. More expensive than most hostels, but easily worth the price. Great food and accommodations. Easy to meet other travelers. Family dinner and breakfast.

It was OK. It is at the price of an expensive hotel however they just fall short. The "hot tub" is only just warm and runs for a limited 1.5 hrs from 4.30pm (not even worth the effort as you need a hot shower afterwards). The dorms are cramped in the attic and had a cold shower before 8am. However the volunteer staff were very nice. Would have prefered to stay at the other family run hostel 2 doors up.

Good things about this hostel The dog The soup at dinner Whilst the view is captivating the rest of the place is overpriced and disappointing. The spa only runs for 1.5hrs and the majority of that time it is actually heating up so its a luke warm bath for an hour of that time. Hardly worth the engery to even get in. The dorm beds are cramped in to an attic space that has 3 power points to share amoung 8 beds. Watch your head… is my best advice. Oh and dont expect a hot shower in the morning to start your day if your an early riser… I waited for 30 minutes hoping in vain for hot water which never came. By the time someone who could do anything about it got out of bed you end up showering 5 minutes before breakfast but to be honest I couldnt leave this place fast enough. Our dinner was a baked tuna quiche (nothing to write home about… and was particularly dry and I would say really cheap for them to make) and the dessert was an absolutely dry and was probably week old cake. Breakfast is only served at 8am so good luck making the hardest part of the treck in the blarring midday sun. While the pancakes were rubbery they were at least hot. What more can I say… try the other locally family owned/run hostel. Our friends stayed for the same price in a private room with ensuite and had a much more enjoyable experince.

Clean hostel, clean sheets, dorms are cleaned daily, great pool. Downside is there is a bar but only beer is available (but you can always buy your own), no music by the pool only a TV. Just think if there was some music there would be more atmosphere but apart from that, our stay was great!

After leaving the small but bustling town of Sigchos, my girlfriend and I walked into the even smaller, near-ghost village of Isinlivi for our second night on the Quilotoa Loop. This hostel exceeded our expectations in almost every way. It was clean, the staff and volunteers were friendly, the amenities were great given its secluded rural location, and the view from the patio was brilliant. We only stayed for one night and were instantly envious of the couple who would soon be volunteering for a month. It's a very tranquil mountain retreat, and I highly recommend this hostel for its yoga, daily activities, community engagement, and cleanliness. A must-stay along the Quilotoa Loop.

Llullu was my favorite experience of Ecuador — based out in Isinlivi, about 40 minutes outside of Sigchos and 3 hours from Quito, it’s nestled within the incredible Andes mountains. Not only is there an unreal view and hiking opportunity, the staff is kind, helpful and welcoming. The land itself is also a treat, with up to date amenities, yoga and spa retreats and the opportunity to meet some of the coolest people all over the world. I recommend this 10 times out of 10! Helpful tip, would recommend four wheel drive private car or using a travel company like Happy Gringo that knows where the location is.

A treasure hidden between the mountains and the facilities are very comfortable have different type of rooms with meals are exquisite.

Beautiful hostel in the Andes, very friendly staff.
They offer every afternoon the use of the SPA for free (and get a hot tube after 5 hours of walking in the high mountain, it is simply splendid). The larger rooms have a fireplace and a small balcony.

In renovations we ended up at 5 in a rooms.

Atmosphere out of time in a better beautiful it feels like home is very fast. Geu of wood very good meal and even a saint Bernard who protects us I advise.

Excellent Guesthouse. Guests are actually guests in an old farmhouse with a wonderful view of the valley. We'll have a great time when the fireplace will warm us up for an evening.
