The room has a thermostat to control both a/c and heat, as well as a functional mini-fridge and a powerful shower with hot water. The Wi-Fi had some ups and downs, and is one of those weird, disconnection-prone ones where you use the router password as well as go through a login screen. But when it worked, it was reasonably fast. The beds are comfortable if firm, with nice linens and decent pillows. There are a million light switches to change the room's appearance, and the blackout curtains are so good we almost got in and out without even noticing the really nice view of Parque de Iguanas and the cathedral next door. There's an on-site restaurant which is quite expensive for Guayaquil (two mains, a starter, and two little 500ml $2 bottles of water came to about $35). The food was fine if not memorable, but the service was patient and kind. Breakfast buffet (7-10am) was included in the room rate, but we slept through it in the morning. I have slightly mixed feelings about this place, though. We were put here by TAME after an equipment failure derailed our original flight out of GYE. What knocks a star off an otherwise pleasant experience, was getting back to the airport from the hotel. We'd booked a shuttle with the front desk to make it to our rescheduled flight the next day.

Excellent hotel, one of the oldest of guayaquil, with its shopping center, the unicentro, is strategically located in the central sector of guayaquil, in front of the seminary park or the iguanas and close to all the banking buildings of the city.
there are many taxi companies and almost all bus lines pass close to the hotel, their attention is priemra and their restaurant very good.

Unforgettable and repeatable. Views of the park and church beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm very pleased.

Very cool 4star modern hotel. Thier attention to service, eco friendly environment and the use of organic toiletry amenities are refreshing. Doesn't hurt that the free Wi-Fi and the location is fantastic.

Excellent service for the hotel staff, the food is good. The only thing is that the second tower is very far away from the main entrance of the hotel. And it touches walking a lot to get to the tower through all the CC to get there.

Maybe I would recommend paying a little more attention to cleaning the bathrooms.

Just in front of Seminar Park or Iguana's Park, and very close to the beautiful Guayaquil Cathedral.   Few blocks to the Malecón. Building has access from ground floor but lobby is in the 2nd floor.   Parking is not located in the same building. Stayed in floor 9 (signature floor queen bed).   Room was facing the street.    Could be a little noisy but not serious enough to affect your sleep.    The rooms in this side have very nice views to the cathedral and to Seminario Park. In my second visit (part of same trip), had another room in floor 11th, and again in floor 9th.    Rooms in the 11th good in size but NOISY.    Noise came from the roof above where all the big A/C units are located.   Fortunately there were rooms available in floor 9th. Airport is inside the city so according to the wind direction you could hear more or less noise coming from plane engines. From Monday to Friday breakfast is served in the area near the lobby. On weekends breakfast is served in Unicafe, located in ground floor.     The place can be accessed also from street. One complimentary shuttle service to or from the airport provided you call the hotel to let them know what time your flight arrives or departures from Guayaquil.   Regarding amenities it has rinse, shampoo, soap, kleenex.   Didn't find shower cap.    Staff's friendly and do the most to help you.

Good hotel for both business and pleasure. Located around the iconic cathedral Park and mere blocks away from the river walkway, location is great for getting to know the sights. The breakfast service is excellent, and they have a good cafe for 24 food. For business users, full service is available 24/7 and, although the Wi-Fi does have some blind spots, cable connection is available, with 20+ Mbps speeds. The lower floors house a shopping center that will likely cover most of your everyday needs. Service has been very friendly and quick to respond to my requests.
