One thing I like is ice on my floor. You have to go to pool level for ice which is rediculous. Bring your own lotions etc. No amenities. Is this a MARRIOTT or a Motel 6. Not impressed at all.

They were super nice upon our late arrival. Assisted us with shuttle service to the hotel. Placed us in a nice room with an amenity welcoming us back. The breakfast Buffett was great with so many healthy options.

We have enjoyed Marriott accommodations in several locations around the world and the service in Guayaquil upholds and exceeds what you would expect from a Marriott. Every employee from the maintenance personnel to the management staff are eager to help and make your stay memorable. Outstanding customer service has always been provided by Marriott. A special thanks to a food service employee in Guayaquil named Angie that went above and beyond by something as simple as providing some needed hot water! When you talk about world class customer service you can count on Marriott to provide it.

Friendliest Staff ever. Good location to conduct business. Rooms are nice and clean. Near a jogging park. Shower temperature very variable in most rooms, could get to scalding at times. Awkward height of shower tubs, could induce falling. Awkward height on chairs at the Restaurant, not very comfortable. Breakfast Buffet is OK, great flavor but little variety.

It's very nice. Nice people. It is a bit noisy north area depending on the location of the rooms. The menu is scarce in options. I visit for work and in that sense it meets the expectations.

The hotel is not centrally located. Breakfast is limited. A friend made my reservation for me but they refused to use my Marriott rewards number to give me credit for the stay. The building make loud popping and cracking sounds especially at sunset and through the night. I work in construction so I know this is due to an incorrectly installed curtain wall system. Not too comforting. The rooms are strangely laid out as well. I would avoid this hotel.

Since one enters the hotel they make you feel at home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is important to apply from one check-in to include breakfast in the rate, if desired; That way it comes out cheaper. Quite recommended.

Hotel located in the North area of Guayaquil. In a training the lounges located on the 5th floor of the hotel. A privileged location in a highly commercial area. Great Place.

Excellent room for Events. Spacious and cosy… Formal and elegant Atmosphere. Friendly and distinguished Treatment. A very good option to stay in Guayaquil. Its location allows you to have it all very close.

I didn't find it cozy, it is in a too congested area and the access to the parking lot in a little complex, there is no one who will guide you and the signage is not clear about the spaces enabled to leave your vehicle. This is a problem because they are shared with parking lots from other offices. In my case I had to go down to the hotel lobby to check if the parking lot I chose was correct. In the evening I had noise in the room for some external air conditioning. Finally the breakfast options Pretty limited.

Hotel was nice. They held one of our bags while we went to visit the Galapagos. Very nice of them. On our return, we stayed at the same place. They had a party going on and it was a floor above us so it was a bit noisy for a little while.

On the 18th of March 2018 I was with my family in the hotel room 1402 all very well the unpleasant thing was that my wife forgot our jackets at the Closeth we went to find out on Tuesday March 20 at 18:00 hours and the response of a young man at reception was that he did not encont Strange nothing after finding out with some people, I am surprised that in a hotel of prestige that has the Marriott chain does not exist a protocol after the check out of the things forgotten by the passengers who visit the hotel, I hope that with this comment improve this Aspect.

It is well located, close to restaurants, petrol station, airport and a few steps from San Marino Shopping. The rooms are clean with lots of natural light and a great view. The pool is small and nice and the gym has a great view.

Rooms were nice but the listing is false. They claim to have a free shuttle yet charged us $6.

I was staying with my parents at the hotel but I really did not like it, my father is already 90 years old and has difficulty walking, at the reception they told him to wait until he touched the turn to be able to attend even though they were explained the situation, they really behaved badly; On the other hand the time to get to the room there were no towels at all, we wanted to take a bath to get out right away and the towels arrived after approx. 1 hour. At the hotel they said they were full that for that reason they had no availability of them when it was assumed that being a category hotel all those situations should be prevented.

A very cozy place, friendly service all the time by the staff, what I consider important, excellent attention at all times from the reception to the bar, the rooms have a sober and very attractive decor plus a splendid view of the City.

It's well located. The service of the restaurant is good. One night the fire alarm rang. When I was about to evacuate they warned of an electronic cigarette in a room.

Spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Free high speed Wi-Fi, gym and medium pool located on the hotel terrace. There are rooms with great view of the city and some not. Ideal for executives and business.

Your expected average Marriott courtyard room. Nothing especial. A nice ample comfortable clean room as always. The Lobby ambiance is excellent. The staff is superb. The pool is a bit small for the hotel size but good. The gym is amazing for the hotel size. It even has a punching bag to let it all out. There is a small spa on the first floor with very complete service offerings. Location excellent with an amazing international Buffett across the street. Plenty of small stores within walking distance. Nd donalds across the street too. The restaurant within the hotel is very good too. Excellent convenience pantry store next to check in desk. A great price value at this hotel! This is my top favorite hotel in guayaquil from now on. TIP at vitro de philly sandwich is underwhelming to say the least waaaay below the hamburger and Club sandwich or thr breakfast.

I'm a frequent guest as my company has business agreements with this hotel. The staff is beyond amazing. Polite, helpful and utterly kind. The structure itself is just perfect. Super easy checkin with reservation. Gentlemen checking me in was super nice and fast. From checkin to keys in hand only a few moments. Checking out — Priscilla was awesome! She checked me out and she set me up with the shuttle to airport. The restaurant was a bit pricy but it is inside the hotel, and the food was pretty good. MRS Ecuador came for lunch which was pretty neat. Overall great place to stay at I just wish I got to use the pool. Till next time.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Great corner room with a view in two directions, very clean and staff was excellent. The buffet style breakfast was great to wake up to every morning. Walking distance to two malls. Highly recommended!

Might be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. From the first day I notified the front desk of no hot water when taking a shower and the TV does not come on. 5 days later still no hot water and no television.
They do not want to make things right for you. They argue that everything is just fine.
Stay as far away from this hotel as possible.
