I came with my family from Quito with the aim of knowing the farm and to try the purple laundry with bread guagua. However, the experience was terrible, we first arrived and were kept waiting 1 hour, then we were told that they had a table in the yard (when we asked to eat in the restaurant), seeing that we did not want outside, they got a table inside, they passed us ONLY the laundry and tired of waiting and that we cooled down, we asked what happened with the bread guagua? They were cold, for at that moment they went looking for us, brought us and OH surprise! It was PAN SAVED! I think that's disrespectful! It's all on the table! Terrible service! I do not recommend it at all, if in such simple things are wrong I do not want to imagine myself in other things! As we went to pay, the lady who charged in office told her our nonconformity and did not even have the delicacy to apologize for what happened PESIMO! It is supposed that in these times of pandemic, those details should be taken care of! Totally desepized!

It had its time previously was a recommended tourist place, unfortunately you notice the neglect of the facilities and especially the food. Do not recommend going to st. Augustine!

If there are hoaxes and people exploited in tourism! this is the best example where they should ever go. Room prices are at 340 to $400. … you expect the best and it's totally the opposite. Mediocre food a bowl of soup called locro costs 20 dollars… it is supposed to be the specialty of the house and it really is an unmable potaje, I would never recommend this place as it is a robbery. Dirty and sloppy rooms.

Unfortunately I have had a great disappointment in the Hacienda San Agustín del Callo. … lousy care, and the food is not of the best. The price you pay for what you get is totally disappointing and completely disproportionate. Just a tourist naive can fall into these places prefabricated with the sole aim of tricking a tourist. The experience is more unpleasant than I have had in Ecuador. Frankly I would not recommend to anyone, poor care and very poor food. The worst thing is that his owner, Mignon spends all day completely alcoholized harassing the guests. It is a pity that there is places like that. NOT Recommended.

I took a group of 6 couples to stay on a Sunday. Everything was perfect.
Each room is different, they are all charming, comfortable, warm, cozy and elegant. The staff, from those who work in the offices, those who help with the suitcases, the servers, the cooks, the managers on duty, everyone knows their work and above all, they all are ready to help and make us feel the best.
The food is spectacular, they have a wonderful variety of entrees and desserts. Even the picky eaters enjoyed the food here.
Do not miss the eggs benedict at breakfast.
In the afternoon we performed fantastic activities such as feeding the llamas, touring the property, learning about bullfighting, milking the cows and simply relaxing in the warmth of the fireplace.
In May I’m taking a new group and I cannot wait to see my passengers enjoying every minute at this wonderful hacienda.

This was a beautiful, historical hacienda. Aly couldn't have done more for us. We immediately felt at home. We were en route to Cuenca and wished we'd been able to stay more than one night. The food was delicious and what a lovely tour of the hacienda with its Inca roots. Great fun feeding the llamas — even if one spat its carrot out immediately! Our only drawback was that after losing a daughter from carbon monoxide poisoning we always take a CO alarm with us on holiday and San Agustin — like other Ecuadorian haciendas that we stayed in — had a log fire in the bedroom (and also bathroom here) but there wasn't a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm. However, we mentioned it to Aly and told her about our daughter and she immediately contacted the owner to talk to them about it — so, hopefully, things will change. In England it is mandatory for a CO alarm when log burners are installed. We hope we can return some time in the future.

Cozy Place, relaxation room, first class attention. There is No better potato locro than the one they give here. Breakfast is expectaculares all done at the Hacienda. Suitable Place to take pets, has a large space for them to run and in case they need to guard it there is an enclosed space for your comfort.

This is somewhere everyone should visit once in their life time! The food and service is exquisite. The views are incredible. The hotel rooms are all unique and beautifully designed and they sit atop inca ruins. You can really feel the history. It was such a relaxing stau, thank you mignon!

Hacienda antigua with just 5 or 6 rooms, the atmosphere is unbeatable, the house is old but with all the amenities, the food spectacular and all complemented by the warmth of its owner.

What a stunning hacienda! We stopped here for lunch while touring Cotipaxi and were simply blown away. The setting, the views, the history — all incredible. Possibly the best locro soup I've had in Ecuador. We toured the rooms, and saw some amazing Incan architecture and beautiful colonial art. The patio is sublime. I'd highly recommend a stay or a stop for lunch!

This is the worse place I have been in my life. The area and the farm are gorgeous. But the customer service and food are terrible. We were insulted by the owner when complained about a chicken that smelled and tasted terrible. Lunch for 2 ended up costing us $94 in Ecuador, and even demanded we paid service when we complained. Terrible terrible place. Worth going for the view and look around but go eat and drink else where.
