Place little bit far away from cities in the middle of nature. Clean rooms, great tasty food and relaxing pool. Enjoy the chocolate production, and also the best thing is nightwalk to the forest to see night animals in the jungle! I can recommend!

I wanted this trip to be a once in a lifetime adventure, and it truly was. Thanks to the Grand Selva tours, I had an unforgettable Amazon experience. My 4 nights 5 days package was extremely well organized, and the lodge itself was peaceful and beautifully authentic, blending Ecuadorian culture with cozy comfort. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable from the moment I arrived, and my room was spotless and even mosquito free.
The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel more like a family member than a guest. Special thanks to Karin for ensuring such a smooth and caring stay, and to Junior, my guide throughout this adventure. The tours were professionally organized, and the warmth and friendliness of everyone made this experience truly special. I highly recommend Grand Selva for an authentic and memorable Amazon journey.

Spent three terrific nights at the Grand Selva. Did the night nature walk — incredible the diversity of animal life just outside the front entrance of the lodge. Spent an entire day — guided by the wonderful Junior — on the river, visiting a local village as well as the Amazoonica refuge. Thank you to Karin and team for a fantastic experience!

We had a very nice stay in Grand Selva jungle Lodge. We booked a 4 day all inclusive package and had really nice tours. The personal was very nice and the location of the loge was in a calm and peaceful area.

We had a great time. They took very good care of us, paid attention to my food allergy and everything. The lodge is very spacious and has a pool table and pool, but is still surrounded by the jungle.

Resting facts for us. The chocolate class/demonstration was really fun and interesting. The hike to a waterfall where we swam at the base was beautiful, definitely worth the extra day. On the walk through the jungle we didn’t see anything but bugs and birds but I always just like to get out into nature so I enjoyed this as well. I thought the visit to the local native village was going to be super awkward but it was actually really interesting; only the dancing part was awkward. The night walk was informative and we saw lots of spiders. The only bigger wild animals of interest we saw were monkeys. (We saw them at Amazoonico bc they hang around the captive monkeys. ) We didn’t go to Monkey Beach though so I could speak to that activity. Karin and Roberto were great hosts and very accommodating. The AC worked very well and we were comfortable on our stay. The only thing to keep in mind is that none of the guides we had spoke English. (Or at least not enough to make a difference for non-Spanish speakers. ) Roberto and Karin speak both English and Spanish fluently though and Roberto did lead the night walk. Karin also speaks German fluently. The lodges around this area all do the same tours, so unless you’re fussy about having a fancy place to stay, this lodge is a great bang for your buck!

This place was awesome. My family and friends had a lot of fun. Karin, Junior and the rest of the team were super attentive and nice to us. All the activities felt safe with people that knew what they were doing and they explained everything very well. We wish we could have stayed longer. They are active in the community and you are supporting a good cause by staying here.

We could see animals, the communities nearby Karin, Junior and the rest of the staff were super nice and attentive all the time. All the activities were safe and well explained. The food was healthy and filling.

Amazing place for great jungle adventures. Friendly people, good food, clean rooms, great activities. The adventures was great and I would recommend it to everybody. The walk in the jungle, full Napo tour, The nocturne walk, The chocolate experience, The beautiful waterfalls. Just amazing.

Really beautiful lodge in the jungle. Good food, very nice tours and they even have a pool. It was amazing being able to stay in the jungle in a cozy place where you are safe from everything that crawls at night. Junior and Roberto do really nice tours and you get to see a lot of the jungle. In the lodge Karolin will take really good care of you and there is even a very cute little bunny you can pet.

Our trip to the lodge went perfectly smooth, just as described on their website. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The host family was incredibly friendly and kept checking in to make sure everything was alright throughout our stay.
The food was tasty and satisfying, and our room was spacious, with a clean bathroom and reliable hot water — a big plus in the jungle! We also really enjoyed the pool, which was a great way to relax after the tours.
The dogs on the property might look big at first, but they are absolutely adorable and very gentle — we loved having them around.
The tours were well organized, and our guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, engaging, and always making sure we had a great experience.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Grand Selva Lodge & Tours to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable Amazon experience!

We had the best time ever on this 21-day round trip through Ecuador. The organization was excellent our tour guide and driver Karin was very accommodating and assisted us in every possible was. Ecuador is such a diverse country, and this trip really makes you see it all. The whole tour in German with private transportation, food, activities and lodging was excellent. They mention middle class hotels in the itinerary, but all the accommodations are actually higher standard with hot water, good Wi/Fi connections, comfortable bedding close to the attractions but protected from noise and A/C and heaters where needed. I am glad we choose to book the tour with Grand Selva. The trip would definitely not have been as enjoyable doing it ourselves and probably more expensive considering that even the round-trip flight ticket to Galapagos and the very expensive entrance fees are included. Highly recommended!

Wow — this place and hosts are incredible. I brought my family of 7 ages 17-85 (kids mom sisters) and Karin/Robert went above and beyond to accommodate and take care of us. The experiences and knowledge they shared were life changing. The lodge was beautiful and very comfortable (air condition in bedrooms) pool huge and refreshing and we always felt safe throughout our jungle adventures. My picky teenagers loved the food — and we got to experience the natural jungle through tubing — canoe — walking. Although challenging terrain — they made sure to always look out for all of us (including my 85 year old mother) treated us like family. I cannot say enough positive things about our 4 days with them. Perfect once in a lifetime experience.

Also a lovely swimmimg pool, a great place to relax after the days activities in the jungle.
Would love to have stayed longer.
