Review of Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort 5*

This was the worst resort I've ever been to much less all-inclusive resort. The privilege package is a complete waste of money due to 99% of the things promised were never given. We never recieved a welcome gift, never had a butler, mini-fridge in room was broken and even though it was reported 4+ times no one ever came to fix it. You can get top shelf limited selection of drinks but you have to specify and the. Bartenders are annoyed when you order something top shelf. Our room went 3 days without anyone coming to clean it or fresh towels. We were a family of 4 and the provided ONLY 4 towels and 1 hand towel. They had no washcloths. Everything was basically closed still but they make no mention of that anywhere. Swim up bars closed, no waiter service by pool so if you want a drink you had to get out of the pool, put a mask on to go stand in line at the 1 bar by the pool. Privileged breakfast area was closed, teen club closed, rock wall closed, and only about 2 restraunts open a night. The food was the worst I've ever eaten at a resort! They are very pushy about their "timeshare" presentation and even when you tell them you're not interested multiple time you basically have to get rude for them to understand. There were no included non motorized water sports offered either. There was one store but it was $30 US for even a bottle of sunscreen. The bowling alley was open but the 3 lanes that worked were a joke with the pins not there or malfunctioning. The only real positive thing I have to say is Carlos the bartender at the beach was amazing. This is not a place to go if you are solely English speaking as those that spoke Spanish were much happier. Also most buildings smelled like mold and were super hot.
