It is really family friendly hotel lot of activities big rooms fridge restocked daily clean bedsheets every day beautiful beach and I absolutely. Love theirs ice crushes banana mama is the best just rooms need refurbishing.

It was busy for March break, the resort is kept well yet needs more employees and service at front desk. The door keys need to be updated as they do not work all the time and then you have to go back to front desk and wait forever. Food is good.

Beautiful Resort! Stayed here for 7 days in August 2018 for a family vacation and we had a fantastic time. Resort grounds were always clean and staff were always helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

The buffet restaurant the service lack of good qu6. The food is delicious and they have a lots option. The supervisor Francisco, very rude and the some are doesn't have AC.

Great beach. Plenty of waiters to bring you your drinks. They even had staff on hand to clean your feet of sand once you got to your lounge chair. Place looked as I expected. Service was excellent. Everything could not be better. Food was awesome. Only be prepare to book your restaurants before you get there. We we're available to schedule any. They said they were 3 weeks out. I asked how this could be so and was told the place was totally booked. It a huge complex requiring you to use their lifs to the beach. Buffet food was still top notch. Manicured laws thought out. Would stay again for sure.

Let me start by saying this is my sixth time visiting Punta Cana and it's my only terrible experience. We arrived at the hotel at 3pm the rooms weren't ready until 530, no explanations, no apologies. We went to our rooms the bedding was incorrect, another hour to get it fixed. The buffet for this hotel is horrendous. The food is bad, it is hot, even though they supposedly have a. C. And the waiters are rude, I literally left one time without a sip of water because no one attended the table. There is NO FREE Wi-Fi, you can only get free Wi-Fi at the lobby, where it's always over crowded and hot, and if you don't smoke, definitely stay away. If you're going to the beach it's a 15 minute walk away, you need to wait for the trolleys to take you. I want to finish this review by saying the vibe in this hotel is too European, and I'm not visiting Spain I'm visiting the Dominican republic, I say this because my roots being from Spain, the customer service in this country is terrible, workers don't receive tips and therefore don't treat tourists as nicely as they should and the owner of this hotel being from Spain has implemented this same way, and honestly it has ruined what Punta Cana is known for which is great, kind, happy people. I will never recommend nor visit this hotel ever again. Thank you.

My parents are still currently on vacation at this resort and my mom just called me to tell me what happened to her the first night they arrived. At 2 am in the middle of the night she was woken with something crawling on her face. She found a very BIG black water bug in her bed. Which is awful in every way possible. So my dad managed to kill this big water bug at 2 am and they took the bug to the front desk thinking they would do something about it but nothing was done. This is a horrific way to start a vacation with a big water bug crawling on her face and all the front desk did was apologize. I booked this resort for them thinking its a 5 star horel with great reviews but boy was I wrong. Far by one of the worst resorts my parents have come across. They should have refunded my parents their money and given them one of the best rooms for having her live through such and awful experience. Makes my skin crawl to think of having a big water bug crawl on my face. This resort is a disgrace!

This place is great! We have had an amazing time with the family. The food is great, there are tons of activities going on all the time that the kids love, and the service has been wonderful. Anibal in the Turquesa Hotel is especially excellent.

A great place for a holiday! The food and drink was excellent and the staff very friendly and professional. The rooms were good and the weather perfect!

The Turquesa is one resort inside the large Bahia Principe collection of resorts, and is farthest from the beach, but a regular shuttle runs all day/evening. Bahia Principe is very large with thousands of people from all over the world. It helps to know some Spanish to communicate with staff. The grounds, pools, and beach are very well kept, and very clean. There was a lot of entertainment if you wanted to partake. Our Turquesa rooms were average and had some minor problems such as lights not working/poor lighting, toilet running, tired linens, and the tub was stained. The daily buffet food was average most of the time, but some of the themed dinners were good. The restaurant (reserved) dinners were better, especially the Japanese hibachi in the Bahia Punta Cana. I would stay at a different Bahia resort if I returned.

The staff is friendly and helpful whenever you need help… if they cannot speak English they'll get someone to assist you. My husband and I stayed in one of the junior suites and we had an amazing view of the pool. My only issue was that guests were allowed to smoke anywhere on the resort "except inside their rooms and restaurants" which bothered me so I think a designated smoking area would be more efficient but I will definitely visit again.

Family Hotel. Nice setting, it is part of a huge complex combining several hotels, but it does not feel so much. A bit far from the beach, you have to take a shuttle to get there. I found that the buffet lacked a bit of variety, lots of frying, the meats of the grill were often the same. The staff is either very friendly, must all the opposite. We went with our little baby less than a year old and I enjoyed all the amenities offered to families (highchairs, umbrella bed).

I've awarded 5 stars because it's worth it. Very nice and good hotel. I would recommend it…

We just got back from spending 7 nights at Turquesa. Granted if it’s your first time there it may take a bit getting used to the size of the resort, but once you get your sense of direction you’ll be just fine. If it’s too big, there are always trolleys that take you just about anywhere within the resort you want to go. The employees and people of the Dominican are some of the nicest I’ve encountered in my days of traveling… all go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and taken care of, even if there is a language barrier. Second, I’ve read mediocre reviews prior to heading down and have to disagree… the food is always fresh, very well presented and all chefs, servers, bussers make sure each and every experience in their restaurants is to the best of their ability. The staff works around the clock, making sure the pool area, beaches, restaurants, you name it, are clean and well maintained daily. Overall I highly recommend this vacation spot to everyone.

This place is worth the 5 stars and more. It's very child friendly and the people are so kind, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are very clean and comfortable food is very child friendly, French fries on tap as well as chicken nuggets. Water park great for little ones. We will return.

Never 5 stars! Smelly rooms, dirty beds, cleaning — disgusting. Service … tears. Getting to the beach and back is not always easy. The kitchen is not bad, but again — disgusting service. Animation … I think in any three-star is better. To be honest some of the reception are very friendly. Sorry Bahia Turquesa but I'll never be back. You got no idea about 5 stars.

Very cute hotel, they were able to solve the lack of variety of food they raised. Your assistant manager very attentive. Throughout the resort, Bahia Principe lack lifeguards at area pools.

It's a beautiful place, in a Caribbean setting. The food is varied and abundant. The service is excellent, they are in every detail. Ideal to take a break from the beach, with the possibility to see and join any animation they offer. The only thing to keep in mind is that "the gift" offered by the hotel is to listen to the offer of a holiday club. If you are interested it is a good option to tour the hotel, otherwise it is a loss of approx 1.30 HS.

We had a very relaxing holiday in September. The staff was very friendly. Food, Service meets 5zvezdam.

It's our third time in Bahia Principe Turquesa in less than 14 month and we are already planning the next visit in paradise. This time we stayed for 16 days and it's not enough.
The whole hotel complex is stunning and well kept. The staff is very friendly and we were welcomed with open arms again. I definitely have to mention the entertainment-team. The whole team is friendly, open-minded and funny. You'll have a good time dancing with them, talking or just watching them. I would particularly like to highlight Julio as a very good international speaker and Joselito as a crazy and lovable person, who loves his job for sure. But I also have to mention Nathanael Shal Michel from Bahia Principe Bavaro. He knows how to entertain the guests constantly and he is for sure the best dancer I have seen.
Every other staff member is just as important as the ones mentioned. They really make you feel at home. At least that's what it's become to us. And we always want to come back. Because who doesn't want to come home?

Within the past year we stayed at the Grand Bahia Principe Turquesa three times. My friend and I arrived at the 30th of December and stayed till the 15th of January. The only thing I can say is how gorgeous it was. There are a lot of beautiful places around the world, but nowhere have I felt more at ease. Even 16 days were much to short and leaving was hard.
The whole hotel complex is stunning and well kept. The staff is very friendly and we were welcomed with open arms. We were pleased to notice that we recognised a few familiar faces. I definitely have to mention the entertainment-team.
We already got to know Francisco the last times we visited the Dominican Republic and do consider him a friend. He is just a very likeable and funny person to be around and spreads joy everywhere he goes. It's beyond question that he can dance incredibly well.
We met Julio from the Animation-Team okay this time and it's great to have somebody here who speaks german. The whole team is friendly, open-minded and funny. You'll have a good time dancing with them, talking or just watching them.
I do have to mention Maikel aswell. He works in the restaurant and always has a smile on his face. Every other staff member is just as important as the ones mentioned. They really make you feel at home. At least that's what it's become to us. And we always want to come back. Because who doesn't want to come home?

Buffet better than other Grand Bahia. Good for little kids. Don't stay there if you have teens or just adults.

Although I can not complain about the treatment of the hotel workers, I do not have the same opinion about who is in charge of the excursions. The excursion to Saona Island in one of the last days of 2017 was a disaster, we had about 5 hours waiting on a boat to get another group, which only allowed us to enjoy a short time at the beach. … they never reimbursed us at least part of the money. That trip was in charge of the Blue Services agency.

The complex makes a very well-kept impression, but the service usually leaves a lot to be desired (room service and the food in the restaurant Las Dalias). You usually have to chase after the towels and the minibar is replenished extremely irregularly. The staff is usually very anxious and friendly, but often they do not know better (they made every effort). The food for the holidays was good, but this was made to be done again the next day (underground bad, or NOT edible). It's best to go to an Ala Kartrestaurant on the following days! The evening entertainment is only in Spanish and always the same stuss. The pools are neat and clean, but you shouldn't have a room close because the fitting is quite noisy and annoying. The beach is clean and quite extensive, but there are a lot of flying merchants. If I draw a conclusion from my holiday, then I wouldn't decide to go on a holiday here again.

A great, albeit massive resort complex. First time we have gone to this large a resort and while I prefer small resorts, they do very well given the number of people. Food is excellent, staff is way above expectation (especially the wait staff and entertainment staff that is typically there 12 hours or more a day). Moving around the massive complex is made easy my regular shuttles. Only complaint is not really of the hotel, but the guests. “Saving” 10 chairs at the beach or pool at 8 am and then not using them for hours (if ever) is not acceptable.

The hotel is excellent. They must improve the quality of beverages (they are only national) and the bartenders for their all inclusive system. In my case for not paying additional I had to go to a supermarket looking for some acceptable and prepared my own drinks.

It is my second day here and I have fallen in love with the place, the treatment of Les Empleades and the good vibe that feels and looks.
The place is beautiful, a city within another city. The shows have also been amazing. Honestly, nothing negative to emphasize!

The hotel complex is just great. Everything great to achieve. The shuttlebuses are the hammer. The animation always gives its best and the shows are really great. All in all. Just awesome. How to come back.

We tried the restaurant at the hotel Los Corales and it was very good and Juan offered us excellent service.

The location is great, the area is a bit far from the ocean, but in our opinion it is even a plus. Food is very tasty.

Very nice resort, food is really good. Most servers are very kind, only two server that I met while I stayed were very nasty, like they didn’t want to work there. But overall it’s was great, food, surrounding people, and entertainment. The customer service man Wendy was very helpful. The servers supervisor in the lobby ilma Alcántara is such a wonderful, attentive lady. Her customer service is exceptional.

Animation is best, very nice guys. ) Very good room service, buffet in restaurant. We tried all cocktails in pool bar and bar in lobby. Quality is very high. Barman is cool guy. Thanks for our good mood!

The whole experience was less than desirable. We were there for five days. We were not given any introduction to the hotel amenities and found ourselves floundering to find even the beach as well as access to it. Walk walk walk is all we seemed to do as the accommodation was so far from the lobby buffet and a la carte restaurants. The food at the buffet was undesirable and always cold so I actually did very little eating there. We had two men with a crowbar attempt to break into our room at two am in the morning. When we reported it they waved it off as a few drunks who lost their key. Yeah right two drunk tourists with a crowbar they carry around in case they lose the key to the room? Staff were friendly though unless you have a complaint at which time they are stand offish. We also found out the night of the attempted break in that the phone in our room was not working when we tried to call for help. All in all we would never ever return.

I really like the Tuquesa for la14 time I come here from the good person and beautiful Yulissa, Rosa, Maria (3), Isabelle, Victor, Jose, Chaterina, Anabel and many other people, even the gardener, Yubelki, very. Warm.

Great Hotel, Great Service. Everyone is always nice and happy and all the rooms are always very clean. The animation program ist good as well. More than enough food and drinks to get, will definitely come back again.

Good hotel. Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. A few adjustments needed though. I stayed here for a week with my three boys while on vacation. We enjoyed parts of the stay. The room was nice but the restroom could use some adjustments. Very uncomfortable/dangerous to get into the bathtub/jacuzzi. No curtain or piece of glass wide enough on the bathtub to cover the floor from getting wet. The pool was good. The water park was nice. Would've loved if they had an area similar for adults as well. The beach we weren't to happy about as it was full of seaweed. That was one of the things that my boys and were looking forward too but only went to one because of that minor issue. The sporting and activity section of the hotel was nice too. Wouldn't of mind if they had a separate section to use as a basketball court other then the actual tennis court. My kids really liked the Teen room. We all had a blast the day that we went. The hotel staff and entertainment staff were great. They always helped us out whenever possible and the entertainment staff always had us dancing and laughing. The food offered at the buffets and poolsides were good from time to time. A la carte restaurants, which needed reservations in order for us to dine in, were very good.

The food was ok the pools where nice but my child is a little over the height to get on the water slides at the water park and they wouldn't let him get on. Also the service people don't explain to you where thing are when you get there and also the beach was really dirty.

The beach is amazing. I would go back just for that. This resort is 8 resorts in one, so if you go to any Bahia Principe in the Dominican republic you'll be at the same location as the rest And have access to all the other resorts. The food and drinks are really good! There are unlimited amounts of food to try and choose! They only down side was that the food was usually really salty however this could also be a cultural thing. My wife and I did two excursions. Zip-lining and party boat/snorkeling one. The snorkeling was really cool as we go to swim with nursing sharks and stingrays. The zip-line one was okay… It was %70 travel and %30 actual zip-lining. I would do the party boat again if I went but would sooner do 2 new excursions. All in all we had a fantastic 7 days. And would go back. Just bring lots of sunscreen you'll need it :)

Nice location as it shares with Grand Bahia Priciple, Punta Cana, and Bávaro. But smaller main area. Pools and Beach area are all open. Depending on activity some areas do get crowded. Turquesa Is small but very nice location. Good workmanship but summers from poor repairs and up keep. Enjoy the location, weather and service is good. Keep in mind the beach is a walking distance and it is Atlantic ocean side, not the Caribbean sea. Over all nice place beach and restaurant.

Rude people. Resort staff sucked. All inclusive plus tips is bull… Still had to tip before I got any service at all. Not once but on every drink or I did t get served. Came home from here and needed a vacation away from people. Ugh nothing good about this resort.

This is a great place to visit for a wonderful couple or family. They have plenty of activities for you to do and they also have an enormous inside pool. The people are very pleasant and I appreciate the kindness. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family to visit.

This resort is terrible, if it wasn't for the perks we got through Apple vacations, our honeymoon would have been ruined. Food, was not good, unless u love seafood I wouldn't recommend it at all. The staff was rude and unhelpful. We lost power in our room, then when the power came back our fridge didn't work. When we tried to call the front desk we were hung up on multiple times as well as transfered to a line that kid kept ringing. It was extremely frustrating! The beach was amazing, and when we went to its sister hotel the Bravado it was like night and day! The food was way better and way more selections and the staff was much more friendly. I would never go back to this resort. We had issues with everything! This was my first time travelling and it was my honeymoon… I expected so much more.

This is a really nice resort and very well maintained and well run. The Grand Bahia Principe actually is a huge resort which is split into 5 or 6 subsections given names like Turquesa, Blue, Green, etc. Because it is so big, there are small purpose built shuttles which act like a bus system to move people from one end to the other. The system is very efficient and easy to use. They leverage their large size to be able to provide some impressive facilities. One drawback is that their beach section is busy, however we were always able to find chairs. The beach is also well groomed.

It is a very beautiful and quiet place. It has swimming pool, several restaurants and bars, and transport that takes you to the beach. The employees are very polite and helpful.

The Hotel offers everything what you wish. Also, it is not far to the beach. Also a stunner! Every ten minutes there is a little tourist train to get there… Can this Hotel really recommend… The ten-hour flight worthwhile…

The resort is huge but very clean. The beach is beautiful and very wide (perfect for long walks). It isn't too far from the airport and the rooms were big and nice. The drinks at the pool bars were okay, but the ones at the lobby bar were very good. It's an overall good hotel for Punta Cana, but I have seen better in other countries like Mexico.

What a great experience. The staff members were exceptional, the resort services were great and the whole experience there was amazing.

Good value for money. The hotel and resort as a whole are clean and the staff is nice and friendly. The pools are family friendly and the restaurants are too. Would go there again.

Really good service I love the quality and beauty of the place.

This was our WORST vacation EVER! When we arrived we were promised a closer room. It took 3 days before they moved us. We loved this room. We were moved to a smaller room in the noisiest section of the resort. We never had towels or washcloths. Our mini bar was not re stocked nor did they give us coffee. Our 12 year old daughter cut her foot on broken glass on our balcony. We complained and it was not ever cleaned up. The next day I got broken shards in my foot (13 days later still in my foot! ) 2 nights in a row we came back from dinner and our door was wide open. Complained again, they moved us again to another room, Smaller room again, back to the back of the resort. One night at dinner the wait staff was taking our forks out of our hands while we were still eating and taking away plates with food on them while we were still eating. Had to go to the medical clinic because of my foot, wanted me to go to the hospital and they gave us a hard time. Yes 1 minute they were going to take me and pay for it then not. We were given the run around about everything! Now home, I had to go to the ER and now I have to have surgery to have this glass removed from my foot!
