Review of whala!bayahibe 4*

I love the location of this hotel and that’s it. The food is DISGUSTING and so is the staff. They’re so rude at the front desk. Specially that foreign lady at the front. Mid age, heavy accent from France or somewhere in Europe. This lady SUCKS at being helpful and friendly. Drinks are made from cheap liquor so it will only upset your stomach and the food is cheap and limited. It’s not worth paying for all inclusive in here. The best thing you can do IF you’re willing to pay their price is to book your room and go out to buy your own food and pay for the good drinks. It gets crowded with kids and there’s nothing for them or you to do in this location. There’s no entertainment. The best thing about this place was being able to jump into the open ocean which felt crazy but when you’re there. You feel the need to jump in. This place has potential to be great but with the staff. They’ll be shutting down soon. Too bad. I gave them 2 chances and they got worse every time. A few weeks ago I paid for my mother and her mother to stay for a few days because she wanted to see it. My mom asked me to pay for the caregiver as well so she can help with my grandmother and enjoy a little vacation. Turns out the lady could not make it and only my mom and grandmother arrived. They still charged me for the caregivers room. When you call to speak to them. There’s no one who can talk to you. Mind you, I speak English and Spanish yet no one was able to help me with the refund that I needed for the one person who was not there and I paid for. The staff in this place will shut down this hotel, not because they didn’t refund my money but because of the way they treat people and only care about money.
