Rejens Hotel

We stayed for several nights in December while in Portsmouth for business and a bit of leisure. For those who prefer to prepare their own meals it is perfect, the kitchen was very well equipped and it even had a blender! The apartment was spotless, ample and very comfortable. Ilana at the front desk couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. After traveling around Dominica for 2 weeks and staying in 7 different accomodations rated between 2 and 5 stars Rejens was by far our favorite in terms of value for our money and comfort.

Staff on point, food excellent, accommodation in the heart of nature.

Fantastic, location, peace and quiet, great service, friendly staff, a car is a must.

This hotel is a perfect home away from home.
An awesome beach is within walking distance.

TRAVELLERS BEWARE.
My family and I rented the social suite at Rejens hotel for 4 evenings in Dominica.
Upon arrival, we noted that we were the ONLY guests at the resort. There were 2 showers in the room, both of which did not have functioning faucets or hot water. The night manager, when asked 2 nights in a row to troubleshoot the hot water could not be bothered, except to tell us "just let it run"
The first evening, the large flat-screen TV in the room had to be replaced as it was not working. Instead of providing a like in kindreplacement, a TV that was 1/3 of the size was placed there.
On several occasions, I waited at the restaurant on the main floor for a half an hour before any of the staff even noticed that there were guests to serve.
On our last evening, we told the staff that we wanted to settle to room bill as we were vacating the hotel at 6am the next morning. At the hotels request, they asked that we settle the bill in the morning before we leave. At this time, we also requested luggage assistance for the morning departure and were told it was no issue.
5:45am on the morning of our departure, I was running around all the floors of the hotel, yelling "hello" as there was no hotel staff to be found anywhere. All lights were off at the front desk and there are no phones in the rooms to contact anyone. As we had impending flights, we had to leave the hotel for the airport. We left our contact number on the desk of the hotel so that we could finalize payment.
