Radisson RED Aarhus

Generally nice hotel with a great location by the top end of the Latin Quarter. The decorating theme is fun, which works in the public areas but not so much in the rooms. Our room was good sized with a balcony. Partial shower screen so water spread out over the bathroom floor. Nice and extensive breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. The garage is underneath the hotel with a tight entrance to the right of the hotel entrance and smallish parking spaces. Good to check if there are limited spaces and a reservation is needed.

I stayed one night at Radisson RED Aarhus. The hotel looks great – modern décor and nicely designed rooms. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated.
Breakfast was decent but nothing special. The gym is very small and poorly equipped, it feels like it was added just to tick a box. The room rate is high, but that’s in line with prices in Denmark.
The only thing that really bothered me was the smell of the towels – even though the material was good quality, the odor was unpleasant and noticeable, including the ones in the gym.
Overall, it’s a stylish and modern hotel, but with details that could be improved to better justify the price.

Excellent location in the heart of the city and on the doorstep of everything Aarhus has to offer.
Staff were pleasant and friendly and the breakfast was good and plentiful.
The hotel does have an underground carpark (chargeable and quite expensive) however it is very tight and not for the faint hearted. We did however manage to park a large SUV two floor down without incident. Looking at the walls others hadn't been so lucky!
Just one small niggle is that the lighting in the rooms is dim to say the least.

We have stayed twice with Radisson RED Aarhus and both times it has been fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful when we needed advice. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Location is perfect for a stay in Aarhus. Quiet and relaxing environment. I particularly enjoyed having a view over the road which was great to watch passing cars at night and get lost in the city break. Hope to come back again soon! ♥️

The doors of the rooms are slamming like sn earthquake! it’s a reason not to book this expensive (cheap build) hotel.
You can manage these doors not to slam (mechanical setting of oil compression due to temperature)

Near the center where most of the attractions are, good service, friendly staff, fresh ice cold water and apples in the lobby. The room also had all the necessary things.

Central location. Nice staff.
Upgrade suite and bathroom spacious.
Windows could not be opened. Air condition could not be controlled and was constantly 22.8 C.
A truck stops right under the window early every morning stocking up the onsite supermarket under unbearable noise.
Breakfast is ridiculos and not worth the money. The Radisson Red concept seems to be less quality for the same money.

Very central location and the room was very spacious and clean. We stayed in junior suite with panoramic view and couldn’t be happier with the room. The housekeeping staff was also very nice and attentive.
The facilities and services however, were almost non existent. It’s unbelievable that a 4 star hotel only had one person at the reception and had no proper restaurant that opens during normal business hours. I’m glad we didn’t include breakfast, as the breakfast didn’t look very appealing. The arcade machine was broken for the entire stay and the lift was small and worn out.
While I understand that this hotel would appeal to some, to me it tries too hard to be edgy and as a result is that it looks tacky. At least maintain and clean the equipment in the lobby properly if that’s the look they’re going for.
Overall it was an okay stay. Great room and location, but the rest is forgettable.

This was a very disappointing experience. The room's cleanliness was well below standard for a Radisson property. There were visible stains on curtain, carpet and chair. On second night, our room wasn’t made up, despite placing the clean my room card on the door. When we reported this to the concierge, we were told that housekeeping will attend to our room. However, housekeeping staff only brought towels and refused to clean the room, saying it wasn’t their responsibility.
The concierge's only solution was to offer a bar voucher, which wasn't helpful as we don't drink.
The only good thing was the location.
I don’t recommend this property and will be choosing different accommodations for future visits.

Very nice modern hotel right in the middle of the city. Nice large rooms with a luxurious decor. Very good breakfast in a fancy red restaurant. Very nice staff and convenient parking in the basement. We loved it for two nights and walked to all the major sights.

Absolutely great experience!
We spent one night at the hotel where we had two rooms. We got upgraded for both of the rooms to a Junior Suite and Suite. Both of the rooms were spacious, modern, and clean.
From the suite, we had a great view of Aros. The only downside was the bathtub — the water is done the way that it takes at least an hour to actually fill it up to a comfortable level. I understand that they don’t want the guests to use too much water but this makes the tubs almost unusable.
Breakfast was pretty boring but it had everything you need. The hotel also has table tennis, pool table, and lots of boardgames.
The location is unbeatable. Great for exploring Aarhus on foot.
We will definitely be back!

Great location in the middle of Aarhus. Rooms are spacious and quiet. But service was great. Due to a mistake with an online booking agent, the hotel did not have a room when I got there and all of Aarhus was fully booked. But Tiffany in reception together with supervisor did a great job of arranging a room that had just been checked out of despite no one from cleaning being present. Great service-mindedness!

I knew of Radisson Blue hotels but not the Red ones. Amazingly designed hotel. It reminded me of Mexican Day of the Dead. Except I was in Aarhus, Denmark! The receptionist told me the décor and dressed figures were linked to the city's history and were costumes similar to what people used to wear to the theatre.
Great staff, fabulous rooms and decent prices too.
My sleep mark is only slightly reduced because the pillows were super soft which is personally not to my taste but others in my group loved them.

The staff at this hotel are top notch — so friendly, helpful and on top of their jobs. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious rooms and a cool lounge area. Funky decor and an impeccable location to walk pretty much anywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel and would use it again if returning to Aarhus. Well done to all the staff there.

We've enjoyed our stay in a very comfy bed and the fact that our room was soundproof so no one could hear us.
Next awesome thing was shower, very spaceful and we could both fit in it easily, and we also must appreciate the service we've paid for, which was about decorating our room in a romantic fashion and a gift for my partner.
The location of the hotel is also very good, it's very close to the train station (5-10 minutes), and the city centre is right next to it, with a grocery store right under the hotel. We've really enjoyed our stay and we can't wait to visit this place yet again :)
Since the price of the hotel was pricy, we couldn't afford to book our stay with breakfast included, but that wasn't a problem, Since there were many amazing restaurants and cafés right outside of the hotel!

The Radisson RED Aarhus is a trendy hotel with bright green escalators leading up to the lobby, decked out in figurines dressed in mardi gras red attire. The breakfast buffet spread is decent with a mix of hot and cold dishes, as well as fruits and grains. The bar / restaurant plays loud music in the evening, giving club vibes. The rooms are spacious and decorated with large portraits of theatric models. The beds are comfortable. There is paid parking available in the basement as well. This is a decent hotel option for those looking for a centrally located, hip hotel. The service is commendable, as the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We normally choose Radisson Blu, because “breakfast”, of course. But with the last available rooms being over $500 for 1 night, we decided to look at different hotels. Enter Radisson Red. This was our first time and we were pleasantly surprised. The decor is really cool, and the games in the lobby are a great touch.
The only letdown was the breakfast. It was tasty and well-presented, but overpriced compared to the larger breakfast buffets at other Radissons.
10/10 would stay again, but would choose a different spot for breakfast.
