Stayed there for two nights with my husband and two kids (5 and 1). We had a terrific stay. A lot of activities for especially a little older kids. We just didn't have the time for it, since our days were packed. The rooms were nice and clean and fit our needs perfectly. The breakfast buffet was really good and though not huge, there was something for everyone and the quality was also really satisfactory. Will definitely recommend this place and will surely want to stay there again if we need to stay in that area.

Good location when visiting Billund. Nice outdoor spaces, free parking, child and dog friendly.
BUT DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE DURING THE SUMMER. It was 22 degrees outside but in the room it was at least 30. There was a tiny fan in the room that only moved the heat around. They have no blackout curtains which really makes everything worse. They told us no hotel in Denmark have blackout curtains, however previous hotels did have them. Staff gave us blankets to place on windows. It was a really uncomfortable sleep as the room was roasting.
The buffet for dinner is ok but nothing worth the 175dkk, you are better off driving to a pizzeria.

The rooms were rather outdated with limited plug points and not the best looking bathrooms, personally though I didn’t find it to be too troublesome. The staff was helpful (particularly with EV charging) and the breakfast buffet options were pretty good. The area looked amazing but I unfortunately didn’t have any time to properly explore it. Anyways, this is a rather good place to stay and for the price it’s miles better then anything in billund 😬

Was at this hotel for a work team build / summer party, very spacious grounds and lots of space for many activities, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, meals were all great too only minor complaint were the rooms were a little basic but functional so not too much complaints.

This is a fantastic place for meetings and conferences. The service is top quality and the food is good. They offer a huge variety of extra services for for example team building. I can recommend the escape room experience.

Clean hotel. Rooms ok. Breakfast simple, always the same chocolate, turkey and beef salami slices on the bread. The "summer buffet" offer in the evening is very simple and probably thought as a well priced dinner for families in the neigbourhood. But not something people on a vacation in a new country is looking for.
When we booked our 4 night stay the advertize said there was a swimming pool, and was one of the main atractions for our kids. It closed 6 years ago!
As well as the zipline, that was also closed!

Wonderful place in the nature with an outstanding service! The food is super delicious and the staff truly goes the extra mile for their guests. The rooms feel a bit outdated, but the service makes you almost forget about it. Can't wait to be back!

Beautiful rural location for a conference. The building is pleasantly decorated and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. The kitchen staff accommodated my multiple food sensitivities beautifully (the food was delicious). Servers at the dinners were very attentive. The hotel is only a short drive to Kolding and Vejle, and the Jelling stones.
On the downside, there was no air conditioning in our room, and being there in late June it was hot and stuffy in our room. The window can be opened, but doesn't bring much air circulation and lets spiders in (no screen). I also wished there would have been a small refrigerator in the room, which is common in Canadian hotels. Lastly, there were spiders along the exterior of the building making webs in the windows.

My family and I recently stayed at the Vingsted Hotel & Konferencecenter during our visit to Legoland. We choose this hotel due to the good reviews, cost and location from Legoland (15-20 minute drive).
The "hotel" is very quirky, and you can see that it is primarily a conference center instead of a hotel. Our room was basic but we were disappointed by damage to the tiling in the shower, which was also quite dirty. The air conditioning unit in the room was a positive, but I noticed it was quite loud due to the wooden floors in the room, so if you are unfortunate to have a young family above you, be prepared for some noise.
We ate at the hotel on our first evening, which was a summer buffet and was excellent for a carnivore such as myself. The selection was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife, who has various food allergies, spoke directly to the chef who catered for her specific allergies. Excellent service! However, the meal was expensive.
This is definately a family hotel, and there are an arrar of activities outside for the kids to play on, including a bouncy castle, a trampoline, outdoor chess, football goals and a fussball table.
Breakfast the next day was very busy, so be prepared for this especially with famillies visiting Legoland. Everyone was crammed in like sardines. I recommend eating in the lobby were there are seating areas available to avoid the chaos. The selection of food for breakfast was good though.

Rooms are absolutely outdated, small and not comfortable. Despite information that there is an A/C in rooms there is even no ventilation in the rooms or in the hallways. However to be honest I felt great in the hotel as the employees were really giving their harts to make guests feel comfortable and they were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good and tasty, as well as service. Location is wonderful.

Super friendly place a lovely and spaceous place.

Very good place for business meetings and conferences. The regular meeting point for The annual business meeting in Vejle Kommune. Great service and easy access to parking and facilities.

I came to Denmark with my family this summer. The price was good and for a two night stay was amazing. Its close to Billund which is good as we visited the Lego House. The rooms were clean and very nice. The bathroom had no bath but that seems to be normal in Denmark. Outside the hotel is a big field with a smaller football pitch. Giant chess, 8-ball and many stuff. The breakfast wasnt really great but there are bakeries nearby so you are good for food! Would stay again!
