Hotel Hedemarken

Great hotel for a stay if you want to visit Legoland. Great parking, great charging facilities, great rooms, great breakfast and great staff. Children are welcome (it’s Denmark :-) and so, it was our second stay but it won’t be our last. Nice small hotel with a great atmosphere.

I booked this hotel due to its proximity to Billund Airport and the lack of availability of other options in the area. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I can say.
The rooms are noisy, and although the furniture isn’t dirty, it looks very old and worn out. The bathroom smelled of urine when I entered, and the bed is extremely soft, making it very uncomfortable.

A great hotel to stay for budget friendly and close to the airport and landmarks in Billund will definitely be back to stay in future.

Bad hotel. We booked a room for a person in a wheelchair 2 weeks before our stay.
When we arrived they didnt have a room that was suitable for wheelchair use.
Then they tried to compensate by food but they realized that that would not solve it.
Then they made a armwrest to the toilet by themselves (that was the problem).
And that was my story…

The rooms are ok and most importantly clean which is all that matters. Bed was comfy and great food in the hotel restaurant. Not much to do in the surrounding area. Good connection to the city center via bus.

The bed was so comfortable.
Also staff were really accommodating.
Will definitely be going back.
The Danish Pastries at breakfast were amazing.

Perfect hotel when you visit Lego Land, the bed was super good, we arrived in a warm room. We booked 3 rooms for the family. Everybody slept really good. Shower was good, love it when it’s warm. We arrived late but we could eat in the restaurant off the hotel. Was a delicious meal. And the breakfast was perfect. I cam recommend this hotel. The hospitality was excellent.

Stayed here from 05/10/2023 until 08/10/2023.
I thought it was a hotel, but it was private small flats.
Everything was perfect: the location (not far from bus stop), quiet, staff very friendly and breakfast was lovely and not too expensive.
I loved my staying and I'll definetely stay here again should I visit Denmark again.

Arrival 6 pm. Got a room. The room was not cleaned, the bed was NOT freshly made. Complained. Lady from the reception went to the room, came back after 5 minutebn-now it is made. She only folded the bed, not freshly made, bathroom not cleaned. Wanted to leave. She gave me a fresh room. I slept. At 11pm I was awakened by fist banging on door. Was scared. Opened. Security and the cook. I was told to leave the hotel immediately. Asked why. No explanation. Wanted to speak to the manager-that would not be possible. Had to get dressed and undressed in front of the gentlemen, waited in the pouring rain for the cab. At 1 o'clock I found another hotel. I wrote an email to the manager, called him — no contact possible. I have a trauma until today. Fortunately, the children were not there.
As a hotel employee told me, the lady at the reception was not stress resistant. She was angry with me because I wanted a fresh room. She told the manager around 10pm that I was aggressive, which was not true. Was calm and solution oriented. The manager does not even ask his guest, has him forcibly awakened and expelled from the hotel. Disgusting. All staff seem to me oppressed and afraid to talk. Hands off this hotel, I can only warn everyone. Something like this is ripe for TV but not for families and Legoland visitors. In addition, it is teeming with mosquitoes.

It was a very nice hotel, but for my feeling breakfast was terrible. The first day breakfast okay, there was not much choice but still it was good. But the rest of the days it was bad. They have taken away all the sweet breads and the orange juice wax tasting strange. Dinner was very good. And the hotel room was pretty average. The parents sleep on the big bed and the kid sleeps on the couch bed. The couch bed was very small and the 12 year old kid had problems with sleeping there because the kid was too tall. The bathroom was good for my feeling it felt empty. But it was clean. The shower was good but I will advise to put a sweeper there to sweep the floor because after every shower the floor was very wet. The roomservice was excellent and everyone was very friendly. I will advise this if you want a hotel with breakfast for a nice price nearby Legoland Billund.

It's a really good hotel, built like a motel but much fancier. Very good food, great breakfasts rooms are spacious and clean. The shower does tend to flood the entire bathroom though, hence four stars. The outside areas are immaculately kept and great for kids, with areas for basketball and football, table tennis, playground and trampoline. Great for families visiting Lego house and Legoland.

Good cost effective base for legoland. Stayed here with my 2 young children, next to a bus stop with regular running services to legoland. Not many walking distance food options however a few options on justeat or public bus runs into town. Staff very friendly and beds comfortable, breakfast is a small but delicious selection.
