All in all a good lively place to stay (the walls are not soundproof so its not completely silent, but I dont care, its a hostel). Good place for meeting people and joining forces for adventures. Fully recommend! also, bonus points for angie and anders:)

Where else in the world you get a warm welcome with the dead kennedy's blasting out the stereo! greatplace, big room (we stayed in a private room, because we brought our dog with us. ) friendly staff. Love the concept of the place.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. Angie, our hostess, is an absolute delight. Charming, accommodating and quick with an answer to any question, she is a great ambassador and made our trip much more enjoyable.

Great rooms, very clean and the stuff is very friendly, polite and nice! nice backyard and great local beer! would recommend it to everyone visiting prague! we'll surely come again!

Loved it. Keeps cool in the summer, so no sweaty nights, great location and absolutely fantastic staff. Met some really cool people there and just from this one stay I realized that I'll have to come back!

Absolutely the best hostel I have ever been to. Rooms are of good prices, standard bar for drinking, terace and even a garden for outdoor chilling, great breakfast in the morning and most of all nice staff, they will make you feel at home. I recommend 100%.

Minimal Hostel. The bed really pressimo, makes an unbearable noise at the slightest movement. The night is very noisy.

The location and staff is perfect, the room is clean but simple.

Very silent and peaceful hostel especially for the backpackers! And the breakfast is included. All the other prices too are inexpensive. The location is near the Zentrum Worth staying!

Let's say that in terms of accommodation-it's one of the worst places (quite dirty, old building, not the best location, sucks furniture and rooms). In terms of atmosphere and service-top!

Rooms are clean and bathrooms are ok, prices are average but they go way too up during major holidays (Christmas, new year's eve ecc). People are very friendly and you can always find someone to chat with. City center is nearby (15 minutes walk) but the area is very quiet.

Cheap, very rustic, OK for two nights, then the back is broken. Nice service staff, but no plan on where to go.

The Hostel is placed in a god area with a lot of pubs nearby. It is also near to the city center that you can reach by walking (15/20 Min) or by tram. It is not a real party hostel, beacuse, at least when a I was there (29/12/2017 to 2/1/2017) nothing happened inside the hostel. Anyway the bar inside the hostel is cool and you can have a medium beer for 24ck (around 1 euro). Also the breakfast, that is served from 9 am to 1pm is really good. With 75ck (3€) there is a buffet with coffee, tea, milk, bread, eggs, juice, nutella, jam and butter. The people who works there is very cool. They are not locals, but they can provide you a lot of information. There are 2 kitchens but they are really small. The room are clean but they can do better, same thing for the rest rooms.

Rooms were ok, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was quite poor but just as the rooms super cheap.

Very simple but perfect hostel if you want to spend a little and go to the hotel just to sleep.

Partially rocked a bit, but with its own charm. Convenient and in a less frequented tourist corner.

Nice place, in typical check neighborhood. It's a bit ''roots'' and party, so dont expect to luxury. You will have fun starting with the bar in the basement.

Excellent place to socialise and meet people. The attention of the reception is very good. He recommended it for young people wanting to have fun!

From outside it looks bad once inside you are surprised, very nice the receptionists, good prices and the rooms well, they have very cool terraces but close at 22:00 to make no noise, but you can be in the reception until late with your own Meals or drinks, location near the train station and buses, does not reach the Metro but the tram if, to the historic center 20 minutes walk.

Nice bar downstairs. Clean rooms. Good bed. Fridge. Close to the railway station. Near by the old city centre. Very nice staff.

Have seen better service and price elsewhere. Even though the hostel is near to tramp I. E 200 meter it has a steep slop. Impossible for tourists to reach this place from tramp with a heavy luggage. Staff is often careless and not so interested. We got a room on the top floor which is like 5 floors and the experience was not very good. Rooms are little filthy and has no ventilation. There is no AC nor a fan is provided. It's really uncomfortable during summers.

Great location (you can reach the town center by foot in 15 to 20 min), friendly staff, good atmosphere in the bar of the hostel (where you can have a fair priced beer), decent rooms. This was probably the 6th or 7th time I stayed at C&B and will definitely book a room there the next time I visit Prague!

The hostel is about 3km from the bus station and city center. It offers reasonably clean rooms with private bathroom (at least the one that my party of 6 got). Wifi is free and covers the whole building. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing, but it fits well the price range. Overall I can recommend this place, if you are in Prague on a tight budget.

The place is very easygoing, room was sufficient. I was surprised how clean it was. Complimentary free beer was cherry on top. Stuff is very nice and resourceful. Breakfast was ok. Great location, easy to find, reasonable prices. There is a wonderful park close to it. Would recommend this place for shorter stays. See you next time when i'm in Prague.

Pretty decent hostel, good value for money, Wi-Fi was good enough and beds were comfy. The bathroom was average but not bad, the reception smelt strongly and so did our room on the first floor. I'd recommend this place on a budget.

I stayed at this hostel for a week in October 2014. The positive thing was that the staff was social and that it was cheap staying here. But the negative things were for example that the bar, which is at the floor level, was always full of smoke and since the Wi-Fi signal sucked in the room, the only place where you could get a decent internet connection was there. This was a huge problem becausw if you are not a smoker or one who is familiar with smoke you are about to have problems chilling in the bar in order to be able to use the internet. Beside that, the room I stayed in (the big room on the last floor with five beds) was full of louses. It was terrible. I got stock by a few of them and had to dry clean my clothes once I returned home. The bedsheets and pillows were very dirty. The thing that there wasn't elevator was not a problem since I like using the stairs but it can be a problem for those who aren't able to climb the stairs and are in need of the elevator. I never ate at the hostel so I can't tell you how the food was. However I can say that the neighborhood where the hostel is located is pretty nice. It's a quiet area and very close to tram, bus and subway stations. It will take you only 5-10 minutes to get to the centrum by public transportation. If you choose to walk them only 20-25 minutes. I paid 250 check krona for a night which is almost 10 us dollars.

Quite economical and well located hostel in Prague, few two tram stops from the city centre.
The hostel is clean, and the people who manage it are young and very friendly guys. In the hostel you can also have a drink at the bar that there is next to the reception. Only thing wrong is that there is no elevator and played us by foot to climb the seven plants where assigned us the room.

It's pretty bare-bones, but it's definitely cheap. Make friends with people in the bar and you'll always have new people to go out with at night! I had a room on the 6th floor, which was a long walk, but it gave a fantastic view of northern Zizkov.

This was undoubtedly the WORST hostel I've ever stayed in my life. I stayed in a double room, which was very dark and it was visible that the furniture was not only old but also dirty. The shower takes a long time to get warm, and when it does, the temperature keeps changing to cold at times. The warming system doesn't work properly, what may be a nightmare in the winter. The pillows are very thin and tiny, the sheets are blue, what is terrible, once you can't see how clean they are, and if you do, it's because they're very, very dirty. The reception is where most of the people stay, and I believe that place never met fresh air, because it stinks every sort of scent. They say they have free Internet, but only on the ground floor, where it's difficult to stay if you can't put up with smokers. On top of that, there was a drip in the room. The only good points I can say is that the staff is kind and the breakfast is sufficient, but even so, you get afraid of eating/drinking, once so much is dirty.

Amazing hostel! A bit far from the center, but the good point is that you have local restaurants and pubs, very cheap, all around. Staff was incredible, had a great time. Bedrooms are okay, the only dark spot is the bathrooms.

This must have gotten much better since winter 2005 because when I stayed here at that time it was an absolute dump, redeemed only by the fact that the beer was cheap and the other travelers staying were very cool people and super social.

Great staff, ambient and simple, minimal rooms. The tram is near, the train station is only 10m away and the bus about 20m. Its a nice catch.
