Awesome place to stay. No air con though which is why it only got 4 stars. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend a stay here, just maybe when it's not 36°C, like it has been for us.

Hot. No air conditioning. There is a bed, water and a small TV. There's no comfort. There is a currency exchange machine with a extortionate rate of about minus 20%

It's a great hotel. The room is standard. Beautiful view from the window if you have a high floor. Very good breakfasts. Near the subway, it is convenient to get to the center.

The location is terrible, the room smells disgusting, the cleanliness of the walls and the surrounding building is sub-par and I had to pay for bed sheets which is an absolutely disgraceful surcharge that should be featured in the price of a room. I checked out 5 days early in disappointment and only got refunded for 3.

Quite a nice place to stay if you're looking for an affordable place to stay for a trip to Praha. The staff is pretty nice and they speak english (very good). Rooms are spacious enough and clean and some sanitary product are provided. Our room was for 6 people and had a separate shower from the toilet which is convenient when 6 people share a room. They serve breakfast every morning and it can be really crowded at times but they do have recommended times to go depending if you're staying in a big group, smaller group or alone. The rules state that alcohol is prohibited in the rooms but it doesn't seem to matter that much (as long as you're not breaking anything, of course). A community kitchen is provided as well, but be careful when leaving something in the fridge as the kitchen can be used by anyone who has a key card. Just a little inside-tip: At night you can go up to 13th floor (yes it actually has that many floors), then out to the staircase and walk up one more set of stairs and enjoy a pretty cool view over the city!

Great Hotel! The rooms are different! The view from the window is beautiful. The buffet has a lot to choose from. It's a good recreation area. They lived on the 7th floor.

The hotel is next to the eponymous metro. Three minutes on foot. A tall building. There are several high-speed elevators. The rooms are different and the hostel and hotel. There are no balconies, but there is a chic view from the window (lived on the 12th floor). The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, there is a fan and soap. Clean underwear, towels and a nice breakfast. Buffet, juices, coffee machine and fresh bread. All day was on excursions. We arrived in the evening, freshened up and went to the center of Prague in a beer restaurant.

No soundproofing at all plus loudly clapping doors plus lots of drunk Germans in the middle of the night make for no sleep at all. To top it off, very dry air due to concrete building, no way to completely open windows and loud highway right in front of the hotel. And did I mention the terrible rubber mattraces? Use this hotel only if you can't afford something better.

For a city break perfectly adequate when it is just to sleep and breakfast at the hostel.
Staff very friendly and Nice. Breakfast OK for the price. Scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon I would have liked more, that the coffee was tasty.
The room was clean and it was OK for the price (80 euros for 2 nights and 2 adults incl. Breakfast) absolutely recommended.
But still, I have 2 points of criticism:
-the lifts, 3 are. But still not enough for a hotel with 13 floors and accordingly many guests, we have need to take the stairs early always, because after 8-minute wait was no elevator (an elevator was broken), well a little morning exercise can't hurt ;)
-the doors slamming unfortunately very noisy and the youth knows no door handles, it is accordingly loud
Apart from the mentioned points a hostel recommended.

The staff was friendly. For the price, it was ok for 2 nights. It is pretty suspicious, because the doors are very cumbersome and therefore loud close. The Metro is 10 minutes walk, and from there it is in 30 minutes in the Centre.
The hostel is well visited, you should reckon on long queues at the buffet. This was the case on 2 tomorrow, so we decided against a breakfast, which was already bad, but are about 45 minutes was then really too much.

Good hostel after the A & O standard. Metro station Strizkov seaside is located 7 minutes from the hostel. Good breakfast buffet.

Room was cheap, very clean! Only the cleaning personal was not capable of reading the signs for late checkout.

A little off the beaten track but with the red metro line in under 20min from the city centre. Clean, modern, friendly staff, good Breakfast (it is the Beacon :D) but lacked the

Was now from Saturday until today Thursday at A & O Strizkov. It is a House converted to the hostel / hotel with 13 floors in the 8th District of Prague. Yes, so very cheap the price is and the breakfast is standard for this already almost incredibly well, but otherwise the A & O can unfortunately actually nothing points. The situation is simple just shit like I find. With walking distance to the subway, it takes about 25 minutes to the City Centre (Wenceslas square), with a connection to other destinations even longer! That doesn't bother who is there.

For a helpful absolutely ok. Metro ok fast in the city, that is breakfast, and it's just a hostel.

Modern rooms, but not very comfy. Breakfast is okay. Location is pretty far outside.

For a city trip to Prague, I can only recommend this hotel/hostel. The hotel is located directly in the city. It is 15 minutes to the city centre by Metro. Totally easy and uncomplicated. The front desk is totally friendly and has one well (no German, English only). The rooms are easily accessible by an elevator or by stairs. Our double room was very big and very clean. We had a wonderful view. Although the highway right next to it, you did not hear it and felt very comfortable. The rooms are with TV and simply furnished. Any time you can get a beer or light snacks at the bar. Money changing is possible here. The breakfast is perfectly adequate. We were really super happy. The price is super :-) Once again.

Cheap hotel with good breakfast. Good if you stay for a couple of days in Prague. The nearby Metro is a big plus. Rooms are in good condition (for this price category). Stuff is friendly. There is also a small parking lot behind the hotel (free to use).

Pretty clean, shared room with 5 other people. Paid an extra €3 for linen. It's a 12 minute ride from central Prague. Really loud with many teenagers. Remember to have Czech money cause they accept cash or credit card (extra €2.95). There is a guest kitchen to use as well! :)

Despite being cheap, really leaves to be desired: quite far from the centre, in an area little traveled and poorly lit, the room is very short on furniture and equipment. If you feel like it, you can go quietly.
