The property is very nice, location smack in the middle of old town and support have been outstanding. Despite all this, the street is exceptionally noisy especially at night. First night, there was some kind of a drink party on the street that didn’t end till 2 am. We ne simply cannot sleep because it’s very loud inside the room. Second night, it was just usual street noise and being sleepless, was able to sleep!
Otherwise, no other flaws!

Lovely room in a great location, only problem was the air con wasn't very good, the lower I put it the hotter the air coming out seemed to be. Which was unfortunate as couldn't really open the window at might, because of noise, due to the position of the hotel. Little noise with windows shut though. So my only issue was the air con. This needs improving before it gets any hotter.

I have never left a review before but feel the need to this time. First we get there and luckily the elevator is very tiny (only in this situation) and my gf and an older nice lady took the elevator as I would just take the stairs. However, they instantly got stuck in the elevator and when pressing the button for help they were instantly rejected because the person did not speak English. I called the number multiple times that they had listed and no answer. Luckily I was able to prop the elevator open a little to stick a water bottle in the door so they could get fresh air in the tiny hot elevator (see attached photo). Eventually after 30 minutes of them being stuck with no help, I was able to figure out the Prague emergency line and thankfully the Prague fire department got there within minutes, very appreciative of that. After this, we let it go and went upstairs to the room. On the website it shows Air Conditioning, yet there was no remote for the air conditioner. When we were finally able to speak to someone from the hotel staff, they told us that it’s not hot enough for us to use the air conditioner and they only place the remote in the room when they feel it’s hot enough (it was about 83 degrees and after walking around Prague it’s hot). They said “Open a Window”. So basically the website is a false claim in regard to air conditioned rooms, as they remove the remotes from the room and thus cannot be used.

Great location, rooms were adequate and got fresh towels every day. TV only in German. Room was too warm and couldn’t switch off the heating, but could open the windows. Would recommend!

The room was very spacious and clean. There were only 2 of us on this trip but would have been comfortable with a family. The bathroom was modern and very nice. The hotel itself is very private with only 4-6 rooms total.
No food/beverages in the building, but the hotel is located on the streets of Old Town where coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping, were only footsteps away making the location very convenient. Street noise at night if you like to sleep with windows open.
Related, there was not a front desk person at this location, but the main office is not far away and was staffed 24/7 for questions/help.
Check out time was later than normal (noon) which was lovely and the main office has a room to store luggage if you had extra time to spend in the city after check-out.
I would recommend!

Gorgeous & very spacious rooms, but we were freezing all night! We even called to make sure we had the heat on, but it wasn’t even close to being enough. Also found some hairs in the bed spread… and the bottom of my duvet was bright yellow so was concerned about how clean it was. But since there was no staff at the hotel we just had to deal with it.

Our stay in Aurus Hotel was excellent. The hotel is in a central location and almost every landmark in the city is accessible by foot. Our communication with the hotel was immediate. The entry in both our room and the main building was easy due to the lack of keys and the insertion of a code. The only downside was the lack of quiet at night time due to the fact that the hotel is next to a central busy road of Prague. We overall enjoyed our stay and suggest the hotel to anybody without any doubt.

I've traveled extensively in 22 countries, and this hotel stay was one of the best I've ever had. The Aurus is literally right in the middle of all the cool things to see in Prague. I was always astonished when looking up major sites I wanted to visit and finding out they were a 1-3 minute walk from my room.
The Aurus is likely an 18th century building but is super clean inside and out, with modern fixtures, electronic door locks, heated towel racks, etc. I don't think it could have more than 4-6 rooms; two per floor. I got the deluxe double suite, and it was a huge hall with furniture, a bedroom/living room combo and a huge, well-appointed and very modern bathroom. It had a mini-fridge too, and felt much more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room.
I love how it's set up. Nobody works on-site. They send you your key code and info to unlock the building and your room using your phone. I never saw or heard another person in the Aurus hotel during my week-long stay. Yet towels were replaced daily, bathroom cleaned, and a repair-person arrived in minutes to do a minor heating adjustment when I phoned.
The neighborhood is buzzing, full of coffee shops, restaurants, historic sites, upscale souvenir shops, etc. It's not super busy weekdays (this was November), but on weekends, there are throngs of people and a very gentle and pleasant murmur of crowds can be heard during the daytime. But everything closes up from 10 pm to 10 am and the neighborhood is completely silent.

Beautiful hotel located in a strategic area to visit the city.
