Gorgeous apartment on the 6th floor with balconies and views to die for, will be booking again.
Spacious with great views. BUT.
We spent two weeks in the 3bedroom, 4 bathroom apartment. At first glance it was beautiful — very spacious, well air conditioned, large laundry, large bedrooms, and a wrap around balcony with views of the beach and Finikouthes promenade.
What let it down for us was the old and scratched pots and pans — meaning we couldn’t use the lovely kitchen without buying our own pots and pans (which we ended up doing as the owner declined to replace them).
Secondly, the basin in the main ensuite blocked up, every single day. Upon contacting the owner, they sent the cleaner in with the plunger — a day later, and it was rectified, only to reoccur again, every single day. I got tired of contacting the owner as their responses were very delayed — if any at all.
There was also a sewage odour through the hallway on level 1, which permeated through the vents into our bedrooms.
Spare pillows in the wardrobe without pillowcases. Had to ask for these.
Toilet seat in the single bedroom had a large crack and seemed to be glued together, only to brake off completely on our last day.
I did not feel safe and secure as there was no sense of security to the building. A reception desk with no receptionist, and entrance doors to property were always wide open with no buzzer or secure entry.
All my concerns were addressed with the owner until I just gave up.
Although I booked via a ‘Hotel’ booking website, this was more of an air bnb setup than a hotel.
