Great place to stay. Clean. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Location is very convenient, just a few minutes away from downtown. Josefina is amazing, super kind and nice. I totally recommend this place to stay, I would definitely come back.

Service is very friendly and helpful. Small kitchen area with free juice, coffee and tea available at all times. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. Bathrooms also cleaned regularly. Close to town centre and small supermarkets for amenities. Definitely recommend!

Worst hostel ever. Have had travelled to more than 13 countries and stayed in different kinds of hotels, hostels, guest houses and have never seen something like this. Owners are not always there to help. I understand but when I texted her to ask for the directions. There's no response. Other guests also experienced the same thing. People self-served, there's no checking of passports nor ID so who knows, maybe you are sharing the whole space with criminals or wanted people. During check out time, no one was at the reception. Got scammed by a taxi driver one evening and wanted to seek help but she's not there. When voicing out about it, she said that it's not her job. Her job was just to give you a key, so you're in a no man's land and you do your own thing if you need information or help to the police station. It's not even a three star hostel. It's just a I — do-whatever-I-want guest house. What's more, needed to change room today but during check out hours, owners were not there and I got a message from her at 11:00 am asking me to pack my thing and moved to a new room I had booked. So you are supposed to cater to her but not the other way round. You paid and you catered to her. I was sightseeing so I couldn't do that. So expect to match her own schedule or her own liking when you stay there.

Great hostel in the center of Zagreb. Free water/juice/coffee as well as fruits in the kitchen. Staff were very kind and rooms were tidy as well. Highly recommend for affordable accomodation!

Clean, safe, friendly staff with a great breakfast in a central location. Rooms even had televisions that we never used along with toiletries including toothbrush kit. Coffee and drinks available throughout the day.

Simple rooms, but friendly staff, good location near the center, low or almost no noise at all, reasonable price. Yes, I would recommend this place.

Stayed here back in July for 2 nights. Really enjoyed visiting Zagreb! The hostel is family owned and felt very safe. Everything was clean and the owners were friendly and accommodating. Location is near some really great food — try HERITAGE or Kata Brunch Bar — and a couple minutes walk from many tourist sites.

This is a convenient reasonably-priced place to stay in Zagreb. It’s not far from the train station, and it’s easy to access cultural sites on foot. The reception closes early in the evening, but the staff was very responsive and able to arrange contactless entry for me outside of regular check-in. This is not a hostel in the traditional sense as it does not have communal dormitory rooms, and you’re unlikely to meet other people. The rooms are basic and on the smaller side, but everything is quiet, and the hall baths were clean. There’s also a large eating area and a communal mini fridge in the lobby which I appreciated.

We had a private room for 2 people (with a shared bathroom), which was quite big with everything you need inside — even a free hygiene set. The interior is also very lovely an everything was clean. The owner is super kind and helpful. She gave as a lot of good recommendations for our stay. The hostel is close to the city centre and rather calm. The price-performance ratio was just incredible. We would love to come back anytime.

I would certainly rate this as a terrific hostel.
The manager was attentive, patient and went over and beyond to make me comfortable. The facility is impeccably clean. The location is good — near the central station, and I used public transportation for all my touring. I loved Zagreb, and certainly my accommodations went a long way to enhance my visit.
I would strongly suggest arriving during daylight, if possible, because it is in a building with many other purposes, and the Dots Hostel is on the FIRST FLOOR — NOT the ground floor — which could be disconcerting for travelers from USA.
I would love to stay there again, on my next trip to Croatia.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The host was extremely friendly and helpful, which made my experience even better. I had no problem communicating with them and they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.
The issues I encountered was with the bathroom. The curtain should be washed and changed every day as it had a bit of a smell. The sound proofing is not good though, you can hear very clear when people talking or walking outside.
The location is perfect, it was just 2 streets away from the city cathedral. This made it easy to explore the area and take in all the sights.
I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The friendly and accommodating host definitely made it worth the visit, and I would give this hostel a 5-star rating.

We have been my wife and my 2 daughters 12 and 15 of December of 2.019. Highly recommended spacious room, very clean, nice. This is a 2-minute walk from the centre. Very good quality-price ratio. The staff very friendly! Great.
